Red South Beach - Miami Beach

Great reno. We stayed here when this was villa capri & havana libre. This was our best stay. We stayed 2 nights after a cruise. Reno is.so pretty. Loved the deco look. The staff was much more helpful this time. Perhaps its under new management? Its kind of out of the way of the action which was fine for us. Good experience with stuff, room and service. There is construction just across the street to ask for the couryard room. Stuff is very helpful, elevator indeed slow but overall very nice place. For francophones, note that everyone speaks French so big +. Food at the hotel restaurant is good, some items a bit pricey but still ok. Be carefull with breakfast, […] your continental breakfast includes croassant, hal baguett with butter.jam and that's it. If you want to order from the meny you pay but they give you 50%. Lots of families with kids so i don't understand some comments from Tripadvisor don' t bring your kids. I was with my 14 old son and we had great time. This hotel was more like a 1 or 2 star hotel. The hotel still seems to be a bit run down, even though it's been recently renovated. Chipped paint, broken furniture,dirty pool, overpriced breakfast that was not all that great. The elevator needs to be updated and the wait was always at least 5 minutes. If I ever go back to Miami I will choose a better hotel even if it's farther away from South Beach and more expensive, as most of the hotels looked run down on the outside in South Beach. Devamı

French owner, many french speaking among stuff. And excellent plain food. Situated one hundred meters from the beach, this is a very nice choice in Miami Beach, And will be even better when the surroundings catch up.

Red is a quient little botique hotel a few blocks north of South Beach! between 30th & 31st streets. just outside the mainstrean if you are in search of "action"; but perfectly placed if you are looking for some peace & quiet! The South Beach vibe is easily accessed with a short cab or bus ride!

Sont come here. I want it for myself. Nice people. Great food. Comfy classy rooms. Nuffield said.

the check-in was too slow and the people got lost for the two rooms I have reserved. the one I have stayed. the shower door needs repair. the elevator was a hell. always arriving floor 2 shaking and making noise. we have claimed several times. the pool is 2 stars only the room is only 3 stars. the reception people only 1 star. too many people for nothing. […] they tunn around themselves to check papers thanks in any case Devamı

Great spot, just a slow elevator. Valet is slow as well. But I suggest taking cabs,much cheaper and easier

Nice hotel located next to Miami Beach cross the street. We stayed three nights pool area old. Breakfast was included, at checking reception forgot to provide tickets so we missed first days to get credit when ordering more compleate breakfast which was quite expensive. Slow service took half an hour almost. But we might come back one day.

The staff was excellent the only thing is the wait for valet. they say half hour, you come down and then if you find the valet person that is when they get your car. The elevator is soooooo slow. Just take a cab around south beach because parking is either $$$$ or impossible to find. Plus you can drink and not worry. The hotel is too far north of the […] party area to walk. the hotel was very nice and the location was just where we wanted to be, the resturaunt in the hotel was amazing Le Budior was the best food we had during our stay in South Beach. the staff was very friendly

Hotel in general adequately met our needs. Not new but was kept clean. Continuous problems with one of only two very slow elevators resulting in constant line ups. Daily bar special drink was a nice touch. Restaurant staff quite friendly but can't be in a hurry for service.

When you pull up to the Red on South Beach be expected to receive top notch service. From the moment my wife and I arrived we were over run friendly down to earth service from every single staff member we encountered, all the way from Welcome Team to the Fix It Team. The food was excellent and much more. For an older establishment it is in great condition […] and very clean. We have stayed in much more elborate establishments but by far our stay at the Red takes the cake over them due to the service. Devamı

First they had no parking, we had to find parking on our own at $50.00 per night. The AC did not cool and made a loud noise all night. No water pressure in the shower. Two elevators only one worked therefore you waited a long time, not allowed to use the stairs. The TV reception was fuzzy. The room was extremely clean. Bathroom was a little small but nice. The issue for me was the color. It was just a little too much. The red accents (lamps etc) in the lobby and bar were rather cheap. We stayed at Red in February 2012 after being on a cruise for a week. The welcome we received from the both the "Welcome Team" and the reception staff was fantastic and our room was ready at 10am which we were not expecting. The reception area was decorated beautifully but the rooms themselves were a little more basically decorated and didn't look much […] like the pictures we had seen. We had a standard room with a partial ocean view and to he honest I think this was fine, how much time do you really spend in you room when you are in Miami?? Having said this the rooms were clean and had everything you needed in them. The hotel is located about a five minute taxi ride (less than $10) or fifteen minute walk from Lincoln Road Mall an a further couple of mins from Ocean Drive which made it a bit quieter at night than some of the other hotels, the beach is just across the road! Breakfast was included in our package and for this we got a crossiant and piece of French bread, a small pile of fruit and jam and butter as well as unlimited coffee and juice, you could also order a cooked breakfast for an extra charge. The staff at breakfast whilst very friendly didn't seem to be particularly well organised and this probably was a bit of a weak link in the chain. We also took advantage of the valet Parking which is offered at a cost of $26 a day and to be honest we thought it was totally worth it if it meant we didn't have to drive round and round until we found a space. All in all we had a good stay at Red and would stay there again it is good value for money and a great location. Devamı

This hotel is a great find! We stayed for the second half of a 6 night holiday in Miami Beach. The first 3 nights were in a hotel in the Art Deco district. Red provided a perfect contrast to this as it had an excellent on-site restaurant (amazing French onion soup!) a pool and proximity to the beach, so we were able to really chill out after a very […] busy first few days of sightseeing. Hotel decor is funky and original and several of the staff regularly went above and beyond the call of duty, particularly the ever cheerful Charlie on Reception and Antoine in the restaurant who managed to salvage a fairly chaotic breakfast time, where several new staff were really struggling to get the hang of things and when the restaurant manager was off the premises. Resort fee includes the usual towels, beach chairs and Wifi but also the loan of laptops and a complimentary special cocktail each evening. We also had continental breakfast included in the deal which made it particularly good value. If you want to be at the heart of the action, Red might not be the best choice for you as most of the attractions are a bus or taxi ride away but if you want a good value boutique style experience near the beach we would really recommend it. I went onto "Hotels.com' to find a last minute hotel near the convention center. I read a lot of reviews of other hotels in the area i was looking and they all mad me very wary of booking with them, telling of roaches running accross your face at night to disco noise keeping you awake! The reviews for Red were also mixed thou more positive than negative. So […] I booked at red for my one night stay. What a pleasant surprise!! From the valet who pleasantly greeted me at the door,to the helpfull front desk to the great ambience in the lobby to getting into my room and then WOW! What a neat room! I was so pleasantly surprised and will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!! Devamı

If you are looking for an uptown, pricy place to stay this is it but don't count on hot water for that shower before bed. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you want snacks from a vending machine you won't find them at this hotel. The hotel is not anywhere near South Beach Art Deco area. The Art Deco area is about 20 blocks south of the hotel. There […] are no brochures for what there is to do except for 1 that the hotel desk clerk can give you and they loan out mini laptops. The staff were very friendly, helpful, polite, and mindful of good service. The room was great! The partial ocean view was just that- we could see a bit of the ocean between a couple buildings. We walked across the street to the beach, then we walked down to the stores. We had a great time!

This hotel is very modern with mostly white with a splash of red for the motif. I did find that the restaurant service was slow but the food was good. It has a very perisian feel to the cuisine.

The staff greets you outside the door, everyone is genuinely kind and Very helpful. The rooms are very tastefully decorative and extremely comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in town!!! Loved it

OK hotel but situated a little longer from Ocean Drive than we thought. As foreigners you must learn to read and understand the address , because it say severything about the location. This hotel is located at 30. street

I had a nice stay for a weekend in this modern hotel with a red theme that is picked up all in the interior including red lights in the hotel corridors and red broadlooms which creates an atmosphere of romance/red light district but in a good way. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was really nice compared to other hotels […] I stayed at in the same price range in SoBe. Its possible to spend your days at the pool with the bar within reach or stay at the beach that is very close. The downside of this hotel is that its located a bit from the restaurants, clubs and nightlife, but still very close if you go by cab and its a lot of construction going on in the area that can be noisy in the daytime. My room on the 3rd floor was not that well isolated so it was possible to here when and almost what the neighbour was doing on the toilet. A part from that i would recommend this hotel since its clean, modern, priced ok and has friendly staff. Devamı

I was very surprised at the quality and fun atmosphere of this little boutique hotel in South Beach. I highly recommend that if you want a room for a couple of nights because you will be on the beach all day you need to stay here!

I reserved a King room at Red South Beach for four days, and the last four days of my trip I'd stay at another hotel, next to the airport. But my first impression arriving at Red was the best: the decorations of the front desk, the restaurant, the comfort of the room, the attention of the front attendants were great! Two attendants stay all the day […] at the front desk and were very helpful when I needed. And there are two valet boys at the front door to help people with vehicles and baggage. So, I decided to stay my last four days in Miami also at Red South Beach, and I was installed in another room type, the Petite Queen, which was also pretty good. Every day I could park very close to the hotel, on the 30th or 31th street. The price of all-day parking on these streets is U$10.00, less than parking close to Ocean Drive. The hotel stays a crossing road distance from the beach and has free beach towels and chairs. The restaurant has very polite and helpful attendants, especially Mr. Antoine, and my stay included a delicious continental breakfast, with tea, coffee, juice, two croissants or baguettes. I could also order something from the menu for the half price, the times I preferred to change my continental breakfast for another items. There is a Subway at two blocks distance from the hotel and Walgreens, Burger King, Domino Pizza on the 41th St.,which stays five minutes by car. It's possible to go to Lincoln Rd. walking in 15-20 minutes. I'll recommend this hotel to my friends and I'd return there on my next Miami vacations. Devamı

This hotel is a little far from the main south beach activities. This review is on the room that we were upgraded to in the penthouse floor because a/c was broken in the only remaining king size room we paid for. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Very kind people, but, as all hotels in Miami Beach, it's very old. Overall, I recommend it, but never disregard other options.

The hotel is good for what it is - not 5 stars, obviously, but reasonable price and relatively close to the sites you would want to see. Looking back, I would have tried to get closer to a busier area, but we were able to walk to the places we wanted or drive (thankfully we had my car). In a word....Great!

The hotel was fine, right between the airport and the port of Miami. Not a lot to walk to but still a decent area. It's an older hotel but the room was clean and fine. Just a note: the hotel had a cigarette smoke smell to it

Loved the astetics of the whole place! Very cool place to take photos too!

It is a nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The most inconvenience is no parking at all. We have to drive around to look for parking space!

The room was small and different from any hotel that I have ever been in. We complained twice about the AC not working and it was never fixed. The food is highly overpriced, ad there is no parking by the hotel either. You have to park on the street. Overall its ok but I guess thats Miami

OVER RATED FOR THE PRICE. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT THE PICTURES LOOK LIKE. A/C WORK DURING THE DAY BUT NOT AT NIGHT OVER ALL CHEAP HOTEL!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was good except that you can hear everything that it's happening on the next rooms. We woke up with the loud voices and noises that our neighbords were making.

Very nice! The beds were Soooo comfy too. Worth every penny!
