Excellent location and service.

We found this place good value, very clean and it generally fitted the bill. We have a baby and the room was big, safe, comfortable etc. We were on a high floor and it was very quiet, even on a saturday night. Breakfast was ok too. Very convenient for Croyden. Of course, that is not London! It's not a luxury hotel and it's not in London but it was […] clean and comfortable and excellent value. Clean, comfortable and well maintained hotel. Five minutes walk from East Croydon train station. Very well placed for work stays in London. Frequent overland train service from East Croydon to London Bridge or Victoria stations. Excellent for business travellers.

excellent hotel great location very convenient and great transport links

Nice and cleanly maintained. Parking is a problem and had to shell out lot of money! Do recommend for stay.

The walls are paper thin so very noisy from next door room and doors slamming

The hotel, lobby, rooms were nice and clean. The management were awful. Short staffed at every turn. Every complaint we made or heard (there were lots) was met with argument and arrogance.

When it comes to comfort at right price. location and tranport to central London, this hotel is ideal. The staff are also very helpful.

Jury's is okay--near my home office in Croydon, and only a few minutes to the train station. the staff are usually pleasant, the rooms are clean but no frills, but the area is a little iffy at night time. Unless there's a reason to be in this part of Croydon, I'd stay elsewhere. Nightlife is non-existent except for some pubs about a ten minute walk, […] and the restaurants aren't great. central hotel but no car park. we arrived with car full of luggage and christmas presents and had to park up in the loading area at the front of hotel and carry numerous bags to reception. Then drive car over to the NCP car park over the road for a hefty £12 per night charge. Then returning to the hotel across a busy main road via a under-road subway. […] One night the doors were locked to the subway entrance so we had to run across the main road and vault the metal railings. Dont know how a disabled person would have coped with that incident. Once back at the hotel, we had to make 4 separate trips up to the room due to the hotel not having a proper bell boy type trolley for us to use. For this price I would have expected this. Hotel room was nice and well furnished. Restaurant was nice and breakfast good. Due to location and lack of car park I would not use this hotel again but would recommend it for anyone not travelling in by car. Devamı

Just a short walk from Croydon Station, this is a great place to stay if you want to pop in to London, or just enjoy what Croydon itself has to offer. Very friendly staff. The beds are big and comfortable. They don't provide biscuits with the tea and coffee though, which is a shame.

Nice looking public areas and a decent bar, but (as so often in UK hotels) extremely tired rooms which could really do with being redecorated and given a good deep clean. On the plus side it's close to the station and tram.

Biggest drawback for tourists is the hotel's location in Croydon. A five-minute walk to either east or West Croydon rail station. From east Croydon, it is a simple matter to get to Victoria or London Bridge. A terrific room for the price plus a nice buffet breakfast. Service very pleasant. Jurys Inn Croydon is a real find!

Couldn't sleep the whole night because there is a hole in the room which was noisy with whistling noise the whole night.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Jurys inn Croydon , it is a lovely hotel , the room was clean , the service was good and the was just location perfect! feriel

Terrible experience. The hotel staff was very incompetent. It took an hour to receive a blanket. And Housekeeping never took dirty dishes.They nickel and dimed you for everything. On a better note, the hotel was close to a railway station, and shopping center and it was nicely kept in lobby areas.

Good location close to centre and Croydon East station. Good value decent hotel, can't go wrong at this price really.

Accessibility to Shops: I like the place where Jury's Inn is located because it is accessible to all the shops. Room: Clean and has comfortable bed... would be so nice if there's a couch/sofa bed near the window. Receptionist: it would be lovely if they will wear a smile on their face. Noise: there's always a drilling noise upstairs.

It would appear the booking agent or methods do not marry up with the hotle's system and it would seem powerless to confirm what was booked, when or how. Given the amount of people complaining at reception then this hotel is to be missed. Stay elsewhere. Booked/paid breakfast for two people for a number of day - not so said the hotel staff! Luckily […] I had someone at home who e-amiled the booking directly to staff at the hotel. Without that we would have had to pay again for breakfast and who knows when to get a refund. Simply not good enough as the staff state the two entities, booking reservations and hotel are not compatible - well at least they do not talk to each other at any level. Very good hotel. My third stay there. Close to the city center but awkward if you need to return for a nap during the day, and you need to return to watch a show in the evening. However there are some great shows in Fairfields which is only a few hundred yards from the hotel. Breakfast buffet is good value. Overall a good stay for the price.

My stay here for 1 night in March 2011 was pleasant. The rooms need to be updated and the shower head and dials in the bathroom were covered in grime. The staff were very friendly and check in was very smooth. Breakfast was very basic and you were not allowed to serve yourself to the cooked items. We were able to check in at 12oc instead of 2oc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room lovely, clean and comfortable. Even had a smoking room! Very good value for money. Would deff recomend.

This hotel is in a very convenient place both for Gatwick, Central London and for local conveniences like a high street & shopping centre within 2 minutes walk. It is also good value and staff there are very nice. Enjoy.

Comfortable, pleasant room high above the traffic in a wet grey Croydon. Well presented food in the bar. We arrived with a heavy broken suitcase which charming young receptionist, Felicia, insisted on carrying to the room. She later disposed of it for us.

I've stayed at the Jury's in Croydon a few times over the last couple of years and whilst it's not the best hotel in the town it's perfectly acceptable for somewhere to lay your head for a night or two. The bedrooms are a little bit tired - especially the bathrooms, and the shower pressure can be hit and miss on the higher floors, but generally what […] you would expect at this price range. The hotel is handy for the train station and tram which is one of the main attractions and it's only a 10 minute walk down to the 'main strip' of restaurants if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Pros: Cost, this hotel is relatively inexpensive. Close walk to the rail station with trains going straight to Victoria and Kings Cross. We ate at the hotel's bar (because it was cheaper than the restaurant) and the food was quite tasty. Cleanness the room we received was very clean and well furnished. AC/Heat, we were able to control the room temp. Cons: […] Noise, our room faced the main road and even though we were on the 11th floor we could hear the traffic from outside. Location, this would not be the place to stay if you're looking for a vibrant London experience. Also the local restaurant all close around 10pm and the selection is limited. Overall: I have stayed in quite a few discount hotels in Europe and especially England. For cost and the quality of the place this is not a bad deal. Tip: Buy a daily off peak travel card from the rail station for 7.50 and receive unlimited travel on the underground and rail. If you're sightseeing this is a great deal/ Devamı

good location if u are flying into gatwick, the train is very close and easy to navigate. mostly caters to business travelers so the service wasnt excellent but still good. very modern and similar to american hotels.

First, the minuses... / The trip from Heathrow is close to 2hrs away! ... be prepared to pay taxi 50 pounds = about 90.00 US, if you go that route .. Do this instead- Take the X26 bus from Heathrow Bus Central - a very nice and comfortable ride for only 2 pounds -it will drop you off about 1 block from the hotel. Second, Bring you own media entertainment, […] while there is a very nice flat screen in the rooms, they only show 4 channels , with BBC news and similar. Third, Hoping JIC will fix the ice makers soon, however you can get ice from the Lobby Bar by just asking. -------- Now for the good stuff about JIC.. For the money you will not beat this hotel Croydon is a working class burrough and the hotel sits in the busy shopping district. It is not grungy ! I felt safe even at nite ... The East Croydon Station is a busy, bustling Train/ Bus station about 5min walk from the hotel..Plenty of people walking around..The train rides are wonderful clean and safe,, you can be at Victoria staTion in 15min. From VS you can take a train or bus and be at almost any main attraction on the tourist hit-list in less that 10min-I thought Whitgift Shopping mall was delightful and there are plenty of places to eat. A very nice grocery store is around the corner called the Waitrose.. very nice.. There are 2 'Dollar" stores nearby that are wonderful one is in the mall called Poundland and one is called 99p. [pence] ..The front desk at JIC were amazing and accommodating I will definitely stay there on my next trip Devamı

I had a very nice stay at Jurys Inn Croydon. My room was big and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel's public areas were very comfortable and well maintained. The only thing I didn't like that much had nothing to do with the hotel itself; Croydon simply isn't that nice of an area. It's wall-to-wall office buildings and parts of […] the area are kind of dingy. The hotel itself though is just a three-minute walk to the train station and it's just a short ride (10-20 minutes depending on which train you catch) to grab a train into downtown London. I would probably try to stay somewhere closer to central London next time, but considering I booked this at the last minute, I was very happy with the rates I paid and my overall stay. Devamı

Stayed here the night of our wedding and was the perfect place to stumble back to.

The only "downside" to the hotel was the location. It is a bit far from London. But the train station is a short walk and there are trains heading into London to the Victoria often. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a train. The was a great place to stay and would absolutely stay there again!

This hotel was in great condition an appeared qute new. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Transportation is not an issue if you have an Oyster Card, as a tram can take you the the nearest underground station. The East Croydon Station is about a 5 minutes walk away. There are markets, restaurants, pubs nearby. There's a shopping centre […] across the street. Other than that, internet (wireless or not) is available but very pricy. A nearby Subway restaurant, McDonalds, Starbucks offer free internet. Devamı

Excellent base for a few days in london, Superb value! twenty minutes to waterloo, close to gatwick airport, right next to mall / supermarket ,

This hotel was very conveniently located for the purpose of my visit. However, there were a couple of areas where they really need to work on. Having checked in we went to the cafe for a bite to eat. We ordered a caesar salad and a burger and waited 45 minutes for it to be served. When it finally arrived the order was not complete and we enquired […] about it. The waiter although apologetic was clearly not interested. Had he apologised for the long wait in the first place things would have been different. The room was ok but the bed was not fixed and moved around. There was one towel in the room despite the fact that we had specified a room for 2 adults. The shower was tempramental too and made showering a little difficult as the temperature kept going up and down. Breakfast was fine. A good selection from continental to a full English breakfast. All in all not a great stay to be honest but adequate for my needs. Devamı

Hotel staff tried to be helpful. When a light bulb went out in the room, there was someone there to change it in 5 min. It claims it is a business hotle, but does not have a printer, and internet is spendy at 10 pounds a day or 5 pounds an hour. Hotel was clean and quiet, although 1 elevator never worked, and of the remaining 2 one weaved and made horrible […] noise on the way down. It didn't take long to get to the train station, but it got spendy paying 5.4 pounds every day to go in and out of London Victoria; but still cheaper than a central London hotel. Devamı

Jurys inn is a 3 star hotel. It is well maintained and clean. Breakfast is generous but not of the highest standard. The bath in my bedroom was extremely shallow and shower water pressure low. Connecting to the internet is by ethernet cable only is on the expensive side.

Nice hotel, very close to a train station with restaurants and groceries stores in walking distance, good if you're going to be out all day and only need it to sleep.

I stayed in Jury's in Croyden for 2 days at the start of Aug '09. The standard of the hotel is definitely in the 3 star range, but the decor is a bit jadded. I would recommend this as a hotel if you have a low budget and want to be based in this area. The bedroom is tiny and the double bed can only be classed as a large single. There is also quite a […] good bit of noise in the front of the hotel as it overlooks a busy road. The hotel was quite clean although not sparkling! The East Croyden station is only 5-10 mins walk. It was very handy for me as trains from there go straight to Gatwick Airport (10 mins). I would not recommend this hotel for luxury or comfort, but for those with a low budget that want to be based in an around Croyden. Devamı
