To the south and southwest of downtown, this family-friendly region claims some of the city’s greenest pastures. Hayhurst’s 52-acre Alpenrose dairy complex boasts a stadium and a velodrome. Inside the Western-replica town of Dairyville, visitors find a doll museum and opera house, among other venues. Toward downtown, Portland Children’s Museum offers still more activities for the young folk.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, which is always the first thing we check. The front desk staff was very nice, and my niece really enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a top rate place to stay! From the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the beds, to the breakfast. Would recommend to anyone!

"Great experience"
Had a great time at the Holiday Inn Express. Everyone working there was very nice and the room was perfect! I will be back next time I'm in town. Also a very impressive buffet in the morning.
Very warm pool which is how it should be in the winter months. thank you!

"Nice Hotel Central to Portland and Lake Oswego"
Hi, I used this hotel as a central location. I was running a race in Carlton. This hotel was very central and close to the wineries and Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and Waterpark (much worth visiting too!!). Hotel offered very nice amenities such a large pool, breakfast buffet, ample parking, very nice and polite service from the staff. I have […] no complains at all. I spent 4 nights and visited the sorrounding areas. Make sure you go to Lake Oswego and have a walk around the lake area. Have an ice cream at the Creamery or a drink/food at the many restaurants in the area. I do regret not having booked more time, but I am sure glad I did spent few days there. "Holilday Inn Express Lake Oswego, OR"
Our room was located on the lower level, next to meeting rooms (I called it the dungeon). Our room had a very bad odor, when I called about it, all they did was spray deodorizer, still smelled.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel during a teenage womens volly ball tournament. Although the manager tried hard to explain to the girls during breakfast that some people actually do need to get to sleep, there was constant door slamming during the late night hours, running in the hallways etc. I realize that they are just young people having […] a good time away from home, but it was not very respectful of the other guests. I don't know what else the hotel could have done to surpress it a little bit. Some of us had to get an early start in the morning. Devamı

"Hotel in Lake Oswego"
No good restaurant nearby. No shower gel and tissue paper. Management is poor. But breakfast is not bad.
"Great deal, very comfortable!"
I stayed with my son and the beds were extremely comfortable. I also liked that there were 2 soft and 2 firm pillows on each bed (with pillowcases that identified each). The pool was great (saltwater, which I had not expected) and since it was Memorial Day weekend the place was packed.The check in took too long though, there was a couple who was asking […] a million questions and took one lady's attention for at least 25 min. The other lady was a bit ditzy and ended up putting us in a room that actually was slated for someone else. We found out when they walked into our room at 9pm! Remember, flip the little lock thing so that doesn't happen! We later got a call from the desk apologizing and it turns out that we were given the wrong room and keys. Annoying but since we were entertaining friends in the room it wasn't a huge deal. Also the breakfast was good. Being Sunday morning everyone went at the last minute, including us, and it was still pretty well stocked. Eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, oranges, 3 kinds of yogurt, hardboiled eggs, the pancake machine, and warm cinnamon rolls. They also used paper plates so you could take to your room which was nice. Overall a nice stay! Devamı

Very close to I-5, clean rooms, friendly staff, morning breakfast and a pool for the kids! There is a huge outdoor / upscale mall just one exit south that has fine dining & shopping. Wish I had known about this place last year when I traveled to Portland for my Christmas shopping. The kids really enjoyed the pool. No hot tub for the parents but the […] comfy beds made up for it. Our check in was quick and the room was comfortable. Very easy to find off I-5. The shower was perfect, not whimpy. Finally, the free continental breakfast was awesome. Eggs, toast, sausage, bacon yogurt, hot/cold cereal, coffee, juice and fresh fruit. The cinnamon rolls were so yummy. The pancake machine was also easy to use. "Nice hotel"
Really nice hotel for the money. Nothing extravagant, but clean and modern after being remodeled recently. Only complaint....Could have used better insulation on ceilings and walls as you can hear footsteps and conversations of other guests. Great location, close to shopping and restaraunts & easy hwy access.
"Holiday Inn Express, Tigard, Oregon"
Standard HIX close to I5. Couldn't quite see how it demanded the rates it did. In same trip we stayed in HIXs in Seattle and 2 other places both better quality and cheaper. Main downside was lack of restaurants in area - The 'Speakeasy' restaurant/lounge next to hotel smelt smoky and was empty of other diners, didn't feel at all 'family friendly' so […] we drove in circles for ages and only found 1 overpriced Italian. Breakfast buffet OK, kept well supplied but we getting a bit jaded of same fare after 5 HIX nights in 8 days. Plastic cutlery and plates area let down. would have felt much higher quality to have real plates and cutlery. Devamı

"Great one nighter"
Although the rooms aren't the largest, they offer all the amenities you could ask for and then some. Very clean and very nice. Great breakfast too!
