Hadsten House - Solvang

This hotel was very clean and quiet, although the hotel appeared to be full. The indoor pool was fantastic and warm. The breakfast was delicious, in a nice atmosphere. We would love to stay here again!

I had a great stay here. I didn't think much of the place when I pulled up. From the outside it looked like a run of the mill Motel. In fact, I was upset thinking, I drove all this way and paid $140 for a Motel 6? Boy was I ever wrong. I knew from the moment I walked into the lobby that I found a great place to stay in Solvang. Online it appears to be a hotel but it is not. Clean rooms. Nice people. Should be able to get beverages during the day but not avaailable. Didn't eat dinner there but saw the food looked great. Breakfast was sparse but ok.

The Hadsted House has done a wonderful job with their rooms and the property is very nice. Unfortunately, its a little noisy due to its location at the end/beginning of the main drag through Solvang. Cars are either getting up to speed for the freeway or slowing down having just come off the freeway right in front of the hotel. The Hadsten House was great! I always look at the cleanliness and maintenance of the bathroom and theirs was fantastic. It is a motel, but they have refurbished it beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage, and a small refrigerator in the room. There is no smoking or pets allowed, but outside some of the downstairs rooms, they do […] have a patio table and chairs for smokers, so I would ask about that when checking in if you don't want that near your room. The breakfast buffet was good, your basic eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, toast, coffee, and juice. The staff was very friendly, especially the wait staff in their restaurant. First time visiting Solvang - and the Hadsten House was a very nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay. My wife and I walked from the hotel to all points downtown for eating a shopping. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable. I especially appreciated the faux fireplace - made for a cozy night. Highly recommend you stay here!

Clean and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast was a plus. We did experience some traffic noise-- I would request a room away from the main street if possible. Front desk was helpful and cordial. I'm guessing that this hotel was recently remodeled, the rooms and dining area were quite beautiful.the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to just about anywhere in town, and there is a small grocery store next door. The only complaint I might have is that the walls appear to be a bit thin. we had some noisy neighbors, but one call […] to the front desk got us a nice room in a quieter part of the hotel. the young lady at the front desk was nice enough to bring us the new keys instead of having us go to the front desk. That is what I call excellent customer service. the free breakfast that was included was very good for a buffet style breakfast. The eggs we're done well and not dry and the bacon was still crispy even though they were piled up in a warming dish. I would without hesitation stay at this hotel again. Devamı

I recently stayed at PickWick hote for a weekend trip. I was alittle sceptical, but to my surprise, very nice hotel. Better than i had expected and priced right. My room very clean, alittle smal but for the price excellant. only complaint, walls alitte thin and parking charged me $40.00 a night. Located just south of Union Square. Since our last visit the hotel has eliminated the afternoon wine and cheese and no longer serves pastries (Olsen's) at breakfast. These were two factors determining our choice of this hotel. Next time we'll call around.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel while we celebrated out anniversary. This hotel has a great deal of personality. While not apparent on the outside, once you enter the reception and the rooms, you can tell that a great deal of thought has been put in the decor. The place has a vintage feel to it, but that's only the decor. The rooms and bathrooms […] were very spacious and comfortable with modern equipment like flat screen TV and DVD player. They offer complementary breakfast that goes beyond bagels and donuts. They actually have french toast, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, bacon, cereal, fruit, etc. At night the restaurant has a very intimate and romantic atmosphere with a great menu. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth it if you want to drink some wine and not have to drive after. We will definitely stay here again next time we come back to Solvang. Devamı

Hotel location is perfect; away from all the stores for peace and quiet, yet still walking distance to wherever you want to go in town. Room is nicely decorated, modern and comfy. There"s not much info at the lobby for what to do in Solvang, and the front desk ladies were not much help at all. Got info from visitors info in town instead.

I was so excited about this place given all the beautiful pictures but it fell a little short from impressive. There's no micro, it's a bit tough to find parking at night, and the walls are a bit thin. I'm glad we stayed here for the location though

Clean and comfortable room. Only down side was being on the bottom and someone on the top floor was getting ready and leaving at 3 in the morning. No elevator so chose the bottom floor.

If you have lots of luggage..ask for the 1st floor..otherwise you are lugging suitcases up stairs...Nice surprise...small dining room...great menu and very good....not advertised..guests use .

At check-in, the guy at the front desk seemed apathetic and a little snarky. Luckily there was a pleasant woman also working and I didn't have any further interaction with the front desk. The room was appointed very well, the location was good, and there was plenty of parking. The biggest problem I had was with the wifi. We couldn't have been any […] closer to the front desk and iPads would not even see the hotspot with the windows close. When open, we could connect, but not even get a trickle of data. Just on the edge of historic old town Solvang, beautifully appointed room, clean and well-kept. Hotel staff was nice enough. We only stayed one night so we didn't interact with staff much, but it was nice we didn't need to.

Having a room open to the outside was very noisy. People think nothing of talking loudly as they pass by our room. Parking in front was something we heard at all hours to, and the houses behind us had some guy working with power tools that drove us crazy.We loved the hot breakfast, it was a very nice treat. The hotel is located on the west edge of town, close to all the shops and restaurants. The room was exactly what we requested and was ready when we got there, even though we were early. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was nicely decorated, very well maintained and cleanliness was excellent. Our stay was enjoyable. Room was well furnished and beds were extremely comfortable. However, lighting for bedside reading was poor and heater automatically adjusted itself to 75 degrees in the middle of the night. I loved the hot buffet breakfast served each morning. Delicious! I totally enjoyed our stay. It was a warm, comfortable space. We were to see a concert that evening at 8 pm. It was so cozy and comfie that we awoke after 8 pm having missed our concert. Beautiful indoor pool. Complimentary breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Staff was friendly but not intrusive. I'll go again when I need a quiet place to land.

This hotel is wonderful! We love everything about it. It is very clean, the staffs are very helpful. The only thing that can be improved is their breakfast buffet, which is free. It will be nice if they can leave the juice out instead of us having to ask the waitress for the drink, sometimes they get busy and we have to wait a while. Also, the free […] wifi can be slow sometimes. But overall, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed. We also love their indoor heated pool, lots of towels to use, even a bathroom to change. The Hadsten House has quite a bit of charm to it and the rooms are lovely. You can stay across the street at the Holiday Inn Express for less, but for me, it was worth the extra money to stay in a beautiful room. I loved the faux fire place, made for a cozy experience. Our weekend experience at the Hadsten House was excellent! The rooms had been updated well with comfortable beds, a good shower, quality electronics, and nice seating. Only the carpet seemed old.
