Cliphotel Gaia Porto - Vila Nova de Gaia

Our gps lead us to the wrong road, despite it having the correct address. I'd recommend double checking the address and google map location. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was only a few trams stops from really terrific areas. Breakfast buffet was cheap and great.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and the public transportation to the town of porto. Don't try to get to the port houses by the Metro system, cab is much easier and fairly cheep. The last Metro stop before crossing the river to Porto is high on a hill, requiring a 15 to 20 minute walk down the steep hill. Located four tram-stops up-hill from the Ponte Luiz I that carries trams 150ft above Duoro river, to the Unesco world heritage site of central Porto and to the main railway station, with its magnificent displays of blue tiles (azuledos) depicting trades of Porto and events in the history of Portugal. Also, it is close to El Corte Inglês department store […] which has everything from food and wine supermarket to jewellery and high fashion. Nearby is Carpa, which must be the best value and most welcoming restaurant in northern Portugal. Externally, Cliphotel itself looks unprepossessing but the welcome is warm and residential guests have access to free tea, coffee and fruit drinks all day in the lobby. Wi-fi is also free to guests and works well. Parking costs 7 Euro per night but is secure. Once booked in, you will not need your car! Rooms are simply furnished but are spacious, clean and modern and the plumbing and electrics work well. Our room had a bath tub and shower but some have shower only. Toiletries and towels are replenished daily. Trams are practically silent and run from 5.30am till after midnight. A 24hr pass covering all public transport (except cable car) costs only 4.5 Euro. I recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay of a few days in Porto who looks for a reliable base at modest cost in a generally accessible and safe location. Devamı

HOTEL LOCATION WAS JUST PERFECT,. RIGHT CLOSE TO METRO AND SHOPS AROUND. ESPECIALLY CORTE INGLISE WHICH WAS PERFECT FOR A LATE NIGHT STROLL THROUGH AS IT WAS OPEN TILL 11 EACH EVENING. THE AREA WAS VERY SAFE. HOTEL RECEPTION WAS MOST HELPFUL AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO FIND OUT THINGS FOR US AND EVEN PRINT OFF TRAM ROUTES FOR US! THE TOUCH OF FREE […] FRUIT AND DRINKS IN RECEPTION WAS A BONUS AND VERY WELCOMING AFTER YOUR DAY OUT ON THE TOWN! ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND MODERN. NO BATH THOUGH WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. , AND THE BEDS WERE A BIT HARD! OTHER THAN THOSE TWO THINGS WE WOULD DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN AND PUT UP WITH THE BEDS!!! Devamı

This hotel was clean and modern. It is right next to a tram/subway stop into Porto city center so its super convenient. You can buy a 24hr pass for around 4 euros at the stop. The breakfast was pretty nice and they have parking for somewhere between 0 and 7 euros depending on if they charge you.

I booked a single room and was incorrectly allocated a room on a smoking floor, this was changed quickly and easily. This hotel is in a good location right next to the metro to take you into the centre of town and also a department store and supermarket for convenience. My room rate included a buffet breakfast which for 5 euro was good value for money […] with a lot of food choices to suit everyone. The breakfast room was very clean and the staff working there were very good to keep everything available to eat even if you turned up late. There was an area near reception at the front of the hotel which had wifi and also a computer for travellers to use without a laptop to enable them to use the internet which was also handy. Guests are also provided with free fresh fruit, water, plenty of tourist information and a place to sit and relax. If you require parking be sure to book this when you make your reservation as the carpark could be full on arrival. Also there was not really a place to stop easily to unload your car at the front of the hotel. If you do not book your room and include breakfast and decide to eat it you will pay 7.50 euro instead of 5. Personnel aimable, notamment l'hôtesse Sandra Abreu. Des chambres spacieuses et propres, un petit déjeuner excellent. Seule point faible: l'internet ne marchait pas très bien dans les chambres.

Hotel simples, mas bom. Pessoal simpático. Boa localização próximo de meios de transportes públicos e centro comercial. Estacionamentos na próximidade apenas a pagar entre as 9h e 19h.

Hotel bem confortavel e super bem localizado.

La situación del hotel al lado de la parada del metro hizo muy cómoda nuestra estancia de 3 dias en Oporto. El desayuno buffet no tenia comida caliente pero era abundante y constantemente reponian la fruta, bolleria, etc. Hay wifi y el personal es muy atento y servicial. Volvería con seguridad a alojarme en este hotel

Ayant voulu rester cette fois-ci du coté Vila Nova Gaia, j'ai été agréablement surpris par cet hotel. Trés bien situé à quelques encablures du pont Dom Luis et idéal pour découvrir les caves et quais de VNG. Facile d'accés avec arrêt du métro à 50m.Excellent accueil ,Wifi biensur mais aussi un ordinateur mis à votre disposition gratuitement. Dans le […] coin accueil, vous avez aussi la possibilité de prendre une boisson,vous installer confortablement sur des fauteuils et regarder la TV. Les chambres sont confortables ,modernes,climatisées. En clair, je vous recommande fortement cet hôtel. Viva Gaia e viva o Porto! Devamı

Après 5 nuitées dans cet Hôtel, nous sommes satisfaits sur : - L'accueil chaleureux, avec un personnel bilingue. - un Rapport qualité-prix satisfaisant - des petits déjeuners complets et variés - la situation de l'hôtel avec la proximité des transports collectifs. Le centre de Porto est donc à environ 10mn

excellent séjour à l'hotel au 3ème étage bruit des chaises de salle de déjeuner au 2ème étage le matin de bonne heure mais supportable

Hotel très propre, personnel très aimable. À 5-10 min de Porto en métro (parfait de laisser l'auto à l'extérieur du centre ville). En plus, vous serez du coté des chais! Nous devons retourner à Porto et c'est certain que nous y retournerons !

Dit hotel ligt hoog in Vila Nova de Gaia. Ik heb er 1 nacht overnacht om vervolgens door te reizen. Het hotel is erg netjes en trendy ingericht. De kamers zijn klein, maar je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt en ook de kamers zijn erg netjes. Het hotel ligt meer in een zakelijke wijk, wil je naar de restaurantjes aan de Douro, is dat ongeveer 2 km. Ontbijt […] is veelzijdig en vers. Devamı

o hotel é bom, limpo e com atendimento agradável. a localização é ótima, pois está em uma região bonita e ao lado do metrô. Fiquei satisfeita.

Um bom hotel dentro da categoria.Esta localizado em frente a uma estação do metro e ao lado de um magazine El corte inglez, que tem restaurante e supermercado.Muito facil de chegar ao centro e a parte historica.

proche de la ville avec stations de métro à proximité , accueil trés agréable par le personnel ensemble trés satisfaisant .A recommander.

Estuvimos alojados unos días en este hotel, y la estancia fué correcta, la habitación limpia aunque el baño resulta muy estrecho, sobre todo la ducha, con la incomodidad que ello conlleva. El metro y algunos autobuses quedan muy cerca del hotel, con lo que acercarse al centro no se tarda mucho. El desayuno buffet está bien. Lo peor del hotel, a parte […] de resultar algo incómodo el baño, es el garaje, que cuenta con una rampa demasiado empinada, no apta para coches con suelo bajo, ya que se puede dañar la carrocería (Debería indicarse en la descripción del hotel). Además, el recepcionista del hotel no nos supo dar una solución ya que en los alrededores del hotel hay zona azul, con lo que tienes que estar pendiente de sacar ticket cada 2 horas Devamı

Não se conseguia dormir durante a noite devido ao ruído dos aparelhos de ar condicionado, a janela não isolava nada. Reservei um quarto normal mas entregaram-me um quarto para deficientes com duas camas, uma delas era uma cama ridícula com rodas.

Dejligt hotel, alt fungerede og man sov godt om natten. Dejlit og hjælpsomt personale. Der var internet i lobbyen og gratis frugt. Lidt som Ikea alt fungerede og var praktisk men der var intet overvældende og prangende
