Hilton Garden Inn Arlington - Arlington

The customer service was amazing!! We loved the hotel transportation and we were close to Arlington and great shopping! Rooms were very clean and large! The breakfast buffett was great as well!

Called twice to confirm adjoining rooms and was assured it was not a problem. Went to check in and they said it was not possible - the best they could do was the same floor. One room did not have towels. The next day they tried to charge some crazy fee for breakfast when everyone else had complimentary tickets for their meal. Hotel is not covenient […] for driving and if you miss the turn it'll take you 15 minutes to get back. $12 for off street parking. Also charged me two separate $25 fees on my card for some unknown reason. Need to call back and find out what that is for. Would not recommend. Devamı

We had to pay extra for parking at $12.60 a night. It was difficult getting into the parking area and were initially told the parking area was filled. We were offered other parking down the street. No type of breakfast is included with the rate. A breakfast buffet is offered for about $13 an adult. It was the usual breakfast fare. So if you add the […] $12.60 for parking and the $26 for breadfast for 2 , you might find a better hotel for the same amount of money. The staff was not overly helpful with questions. Construction was going on and the gym was accessible by only one elevator. I couldn't find the gym using the instructions given by the front desk. I also asked about a local tourist site. The front disk didn't know about it and referred me to the cabbie who didn't know where it was either. I found it on my own. The area is very nice. Arlington is a clean area with lots of shopping and many restaurants that you can walk to. In the spring and summer, a farmer's market sets up across the street. The Metro is a block away. My fiancee and I went to DC for the Cherry Blossom Fest and got rained out but our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington helped to salvage the trip! The hotel was under construction during our stay but aside from checking in and checking out it didn't effect our stay at all. The room was clean and comfortable and everything we needed was within 5 […] minutes walking distance. Parking was a bit of an issue ($12 a day when there were garages near by charging $8) especially when it came to space. Our second night we drove into MD and came back to find there were no spaces in the parking lot because of double parked guests and furniture stored in the last few spaces. The woman on-call at the desk that night, I believe her name was Jixinia, was extremely helpful! She removed our parking charges for our entire stay and gave us two free breakfast passes for our last day of the trip. I was so impressed with the location, the cleanliness, and the reception that I would ignore the $12 a day parking and make this my default hotel when visiting the Metro-DC Area. Devamı

The location can't be beat, the price was right, but the room itself was pretty mediocre. The gym in the hotel was actually really nice...if they upgraded the rest of the hotel in the same fashion, it would go a long way.

The parking lot is a bit difficult ... tight parking and a difficult entry/exit. The pillows were not very comfortable.

Stayed here to be close to DC and also close enough to the area where I was going to be looking for apartments. The hotel was pretty basic but suited us just fine for our needs. We booked this for my husband's first trip to DC and were not disappointed. The breakfasts were not the best, but were ample in size to make up for it. The neutrogena products were a nice touch and the closeness of the stop to the orange line was a huge blessing! 2 stops to the kennedy center! Perfectly fine large hotel,clean, $12 parking and $12 breakfast .Very short walk from main street and metro ridfe from Washington

Very comfy beds and very convenient to the Metro...We had a great stay here!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and lobby were clean. Metro stop around the corner is very convenient. Cookies at desk at night were yummy. Wish they had some small pastries at breakfast time. However the free coffee was good! I would stay there again.

We chose this hotel for its proxomity to a metro stop while we were visiting our daughter in Washignton DC. The room was beautiful, comfortable and extremely clean. Fiberfill pillows were delivered within minutes of our reqest. Unlimited Starbucks coffee was also very nice to have, especially in the evening when most places are closed. We went to this hotel because it is close to where my son lives. The check-in guy was very rude and turned us against this hotel right away although it actually wasn't bad at all. We were assigned a king size bed even though we had asked for two queen size beds. Two out of three nights they put queen size sheets on this king size bed which meant that […] we woke up on the naked mattress. The hotel was very nice. It was clean and well maintained, but a little difficult to get to if you don't know your way around well. Cedrick at the front desk was amazing!!! Very nice and helpful.

First of all the room was VERY BELOW AVERAGE, IT WOULD BE A ROOM IF YOU WERE AN EMPLOYEE AND ONLY HAD TO PAY $20.00 A NIGHT TO STAY THERE. Air conditioner wasn't working properly had to call maintenance and he figured out that the filter was filthy and needed cleaned. They charged you to park but NO PARKING AVAILABLE. Great rate, clean room, friendly staff, free wifi, refrigerator & microwave in room, plenty of towels, nice location. The only negatives are the parking garage didn't have enough spots for all guests & there was no continental breakfast or pool.

We stayed at the hotel the last weekend in July. It is a couple of blocks away from the Metro, which is super convenient for getting into D.C. We took the train from Arlington to FedEx Field in Landover for a game and had no problems. The area around the hotel is really nice. There are lots of different kinds of restaurants, such as a high-end steakhouse, […] an Irish pub, a Chinese restaurant that also does bubbletea, a regular pizza-and-sub shop and a Wendy's. There's also a 24-hour CVS within walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the TV worked. Breakfast isn't included in the stay, which is a shame; despite the variety of restaurants, there's a lack of places to get breakfast. Seems Arlington is more into pricier brunches. Luckily, if you're there on a Saturday morning, there's a lovely little farmers market that sells bread, milk, cheese and jam and there's a fridge in the room, so make the most of it! I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants easy access to the DC area, and I would stay there again myself. Devamı

Stayed here with my young children during visit to DC. Was very happy with the hotel. The facility was very clean, the staff friendly. Nearest Metro station was only 2 blocks away. Only stayed one night, but it was really nice. Very convienent location, and city parking was free for the weekend which was extremly nice.

Hotel is very good location. Close to Subway to DC (5 minutes walk). Nice Hotel, Room is cleaned good. But parking is a problem (I guess for the weekend???) not enough parking space if you get back Hotel late (after 10pm: hard to find parking). After 11pm then forget it. You need to go to another Hotel or street parking. No swimming pool.

Great price and location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only downside was no shuttle to Dulles which turned out ok after the desk clerk suggested the 5A bus which was pretty spacious and comfortable ($6 beats a $55 cab ride). Location is amazing! Walking distance to Arlington Nat'l Cemetery; 2 blocks from Courthouse Orange line metro stop, which is 2 stops from Foggy Bottom/GWU; various eateries within 2 blocks; street parking readily available.

Close to a metro stop for accessing all the DC area with good rates for underground parking at the hotel.Breakfast was great value with a wide choice of hot and cold selections.Nice room and excellent service . minor niggle was the lounge bar was closed 2 nights out of 3 with a silly message saying the barman had been kidnapped by pirates.He was actually […] sick but it seems a shame that a large hotel cannot manage this simple logistical excercise.Front desk were no help on this but we would have raised with the manager who walks rounfd the restaurant at breakfast asking guests how they found everything. unfortunately he was off duty on the sat and sun mornings after this happened the previous nights. We planned our visit to the capital and can't recommend a better hotel. Just a block away from the Court House metro station, you are close enough to the sites and yet not in the middle of all the commotion.. the Room was huge. The Restaurant was great.
