Rooms have been renovated so very good standard. All other parts of the hotel are being renovated so still a building site.

Hotel currently under refurbishement. However, room that I stayed in has been upgraded and the room and facilities within the room is excellent. Bar, dining and breakfast facilities are all temporary facilities while work continues. Expected under the circumstances. Value for money based on room rates.

I very rarely complain about hotels. Fortunately I was only staying for 5 hours as I had a really early flight the next day. The place is a complete and utter building site. Entrance is through a temporary fire door with a makeshift reception. A4 signs taped to the wall direct around the rooms that have been gutted back to the walls with the doors removed […] during renovation. You walk past the old bar restaurant which is again a concrete shell to a temporary bar which was closed really early and there was nowhere to getting any food or drink except to the leave the hotel which is a long way from anywhere else. hotel services were very good and reasonably priced, but it is being renovated and will become a Holiday Inn hotel in the future, so I don't know what the prices will change to. We upgraded to a new room which was excellent, but no toilettries were supplied.

We read that the hotel was being refurbed & it needed it, its due to become a Holiday Inn in 2012. For the one night we wanted it was convenient, but would not want to stay any longer. To top it off there was no hot water in the bathroom in the morning. Will not be returning in a hurry.

This hotel is thank god going under renovation from the 7th of November. The rooms were awful still stuck in the 80's, the restaurant was hideously priced. The staff on the plus side were very good, changing us from our 1st room. We stayed for a stop over on route to Egypt, but unless this hotel spends a considerable amount of money it will be nothing […] but a stopover hotel. Devamı

Despite all adverse comments of the hotel on the review site, this hotel was very surprisingly good. All standards were very reasonable with pleasant staff. Unfair to call the hotel a dump and I would go back.

Good value for someone in transit. Location is remote, but quiet. H1 bus from Gatwick airport takes you to the hotel in less than 30 minutes (3 pounds per person one way). Hotel is clean, staff helpful. Free Wi Fi in lobby. Breakfast was pricey compared to Canada or USA. Food was good fortunately (Town and nearest other eatery is more than 30 minutes […] walk away). Especially enjoyed the lounge and nice restaurant after travelling all day. Very pleasant atmosphere. Rates were very good.

I liked the hotel and the neighbourhood very much!! It was a bit too far from the airport for me!

This hotel was well maintained and very comfortable with an onsite fitness center. The only issue for this hotel was location -- if you were not traveling by car. The hotel is off the beaten track and to reach this location you need a taxi or shuttle. However the staff and maintenance makes up for any inconvenience.

Booked this hotel for convenience for airport (and transfer). Not so convenient though - shuttles only run once an hour. Not so good when you've had a long day and flight and have to wait nearly an hour for the next shuttle because you've just missed one. Sorry to say, will not be using hotel again when using Gatwick Airport.

fine for 1 or 2 nights bar snacks reasobaly priced and came promptly. Room was quiet and bigger than expected

Not a great start to our holiday. The hotel is not in great nick and has the air of a pre-fab prison. The bedding was dirty and there was an incredibly loud noise of pipes/pumping that continued throughout the night. Not Recommended!

Great location for an over night stay before flying out of Gatwick. Very clean comfortable room, use the bus service tothe Airport not a cab.

We were under the impresion that the hotel was closer than it was, supposed to be 2.8 miles (as the crow flies) but in actual fact it was 15-20 mins by car and cost 16.40 pounds by taxi. Double bed was ancient, could feel the springs and the divans were dirty as was the carpet. Sheets were clean. We couldn't figure out what the brown bits were in the […] water in the sink but discovered that someone had stuffed a cigarette butt down the drain and it was coming up! Have stayed here a couple of times great for an overnight stay, very reasonable price when booked online would cost 3 times as much to book direct , clean rooms however bit of wear and tear.

So it's not the Ritz. But it is close to the M23 (Gatwick) and M25 (Heathrow), which was why we picked it. This and the reasonable ease of access to central London via Three Bridges train station. We had a few niggles with the place, a couple being minor and one not so: 1. The hotel's system did not carry out the wake up call that we are to be scheduled. […] Not much of a big deal, but when you're still a bit shaky having come across 5 time zones, every little helps. 2. The hotel's carpark seemed to be used for a semi long term stay carpark. Good for the hotel, as it got money in, not good for staying - and paying - guests who came back after about 5pm. We ended up having to park in the fitness centre's area next door. 3. The room's water system. We were in room 246 for our stay, and there was a faded sticker about the hot water in the room and needing to let the tap run. In this day and age, letting a tap run really isn't the done thing. Anyway, here's our main beef with the room: My wife tried to take a shower and nearly got burnt. There is a hot/cold mixer, but it didn't seem to work. The next night, I tried to take a shower and got no water at all and when it did eventually run, all I got was cold. Again, not the best. On the day we left, we got up at 5.30am. All I could get then was blisteringly cold water. For a travellers hotel, not having hot water all night is pretty bad. All in all, it's not a bad place to stay, as long as you're only doing it for one night and don't need a shower the next day.... Devamı

Very convienient if using the airport, bit off the beaten track to find location, parking was a bit of a struggle but hotel in general acceptable and clean.

even though we had to get a taxi to the hotel we found it in very pleasant ,the grounds were lovely.thehotel was very good had lots of facilities ,food drinks room service all available all in all very. pleasant. will use it again

On Arrival the car park was a nightmare cars all over bumper to bumper, took ages to find a space, Hotel has holiday parking so makes car park overflow. Not good. But, The reception staff were ok and the room was nice if up two flights of stairs with heavy cases thats no fun, the room was great nice and clean with a big jetted bath and a four poster […] bed, on the whole a good time was had. Det var et veldig koselig hotell som lå et kvarter unna Gatwick flyplass med buss. Det var veldig greit å komme seg fram og tilbake, men tok litt tid å finne hotell bussen. Det kunne vært litt mer info om transport til hotellet på siden. Utenom buss, så hadde vi et veldig hyggelig opphold med god tilgang til WiFi og en hyggelig restaurant på hotellet. […] Veldig koselig for et lite ferieopphold. Devamı

Nous avons apprécié la taille de la chambre ,malgré les quatre lits,nous n'étions pas confinés et avons passé un très bon séjour.

Sauberkeit und Service koennte besser sein, das ist allgemein in England nicht empfehlenswert. Die geben sich keine grosse Muehe. Die Lage ist gut, etwas Natur zum Spazierengehen. Internet nur in der grossen Halle, im Zimmer kein Empfang, Preis insgesamt fuer das Zimmer ziemlich teuer.

Hotel gekozen puur vanwege de locatie. Jammer dat de prijs excl. ontbijt was, had dit eigenlijk verwacht. Verder was de locatie perfect gezien de plaatsen die wij in zuid engeland wilden bezoeken. Kamer rook muf, niet voldoende gelucht. Algemene onderhoud van de kamer was wel nodig gezien de staat.
