We booked here because of the price. Rooms are older, but clean. The location is on a bus line, 15 minutes from Vatican. May not be 4 star hotel ,but we enjoyed our week visit here. Only serves breakfast, but it was buffet-style, and kept us full for most of the day. They have a sandwich/snack area that serves coffee and drinks. Free wifi in lobby only. […] We would stay here again. Also, Christian, member of hotel desk staff, was extremely helpful with bus lines and local site directions. By the time we were ready to leave, we felt like locals. Don't be afraid to explore the nearby communities, we found a laundramat, a place where you can buy wine by the liter(you can bring an empty water bottle or get one there) 10 different varieties, either red or white, for under 3 euros. A local pizzeria , good food, good menu selection, we had dinner for under 12 euros. If you don't need to be in the heart of Rome , and are just on a leisure trip, stay here. Excellent value for price, although outside city center, only a 20 minute bus ride from Vatican. Relatively small room and bath, but very substantial breakfast, served at 630am onwards, a great boon if you need to catch an early train or flight.

It is good place to have a quite stay after tiring day or visiting Rome. Front disk staff are v helpfull. But u need to ask details u want. Metro is exactly 1.3 kil going lf and then lf but better take pus 892 to metro just outside the hotel. Pus 881 take u near Vatican. Not miss see wishes fountain ,closing, Spanish steps all are by foot from city […] center. Wi fi is free at loopy just get pass word from front disk Breakfast is with good options. My family and I enjoyed this hotel very much. This was our second stay there and it keeps satisfying us. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. First, I remember it having a great little restaurant. This time we went the restaurant was gone, and what's left is a little bar that where even though food is good, it doesn't compare […] with a restaurant service. It is a nice solution if you want to have a small dinner in the comfort of your hotel after a long day of sight-seeing, but don't expect it to be of five star restaurant quality. Also, something that needs to be improved is the internet service. You can access internet for free at the lobby but you have to pay to have service in your room. Very bad feature considering that in our trip we stayed in cheaper hotels in other cities and had wireless service in our rooms. Why can't you just get internet in the room for free as it is at the lobby? makes no sense to me. So if you want internet make sure to bring your laptop and prepare yourself to be sitting at a lobby couch for however long you want to surf the net. TRansportation is good since you have a bus stop right by the hotel and can take it to the closest metro station or the bus #881 can take you straight to the vatican city and make your way through the city from there. Overall it is a nice hotel, quite and offers a GREAT buffet breakfast. I would stay there again. Devamı

Smallest possible room with hardly any place to move, shower cubilce so small you have to squeeze in. The aircon only makes sufficient noise but no cooling. No kettle to make tea. No lift; if you have heavy luggage and your room is on the second floor like we did you need to be fit.

This hotel is a little further from the major sites in Rome; however it is close to the bus which will get you to the metro to easily get to the sight-seeing. The rooms weren't as big as the pictures depict them, but adequate for a European Hotel. Smell coming from the toilet was horrible,clearly a pluming problem... When we report it they refuse to move us and say it was the detergent.... When we came back at night the smell was too much then they moved us.... Not without a half hour wait.... Not want you want at 1 am when you need to sleep...

We stayed at the Torre Rossa Park Hotel at the end of May, 2011. There was no AC until June first but fortunately it wasn't very hot yet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms and showers were very small and there should be a soap dish in the shower stall and a hook for your towel nearby. Internet connection was available […] but cost an additional 5 euros per hour. The hotel located a bit out of the way but was close to a bus stop. The rooms were extremely different than advertised. Staff was a little rude and the room smelled musty. The carpet was dreadfully old, as the majority of the interior in the building we stayed in. There are four different buildings with rooms in them. Our TV was extremely small and hard to watch from the bed with no working remote. Location: The Hotel altough a little bit out of city but it wasnt too bad. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel from which you can take busses to the city (somtimes you should combine 2 busses to get where you want). Close to the hotel is a nice park in which I used to run at mornings. Hotel facilities and stuff: We stayed there for 5 nights […] and found the stuff very welcoming and helpfull. The rooms are very clean.The roomes suffer from lake of noise isolation and once in the room you can really here the people in the corridor/the adajacant rooms. The shower room is big but the shower itself was very small, its was almost impossible mission to take a shower without hitting the shower tab. Breakfast was good with a nice veraity of food. The hotel has also a free big parking attached for guests use.T Conclusion: I recommend this hotel for travelers who want to visit Rome but do not need to be located in the city center. Devamı

This hotel was surprisingly out of the way in Rome, we were slightly dissapointed as even though there was a bus stop outside it was on a very busy road and you still had to take the bus to get to the metro to see all the main sights. The hotel restaurant was reseverved for groups only which was a little dissapointing also. Saying this, the hotel put […] on a free service which took you to an excellent restaurant not far from the hotel, I cannot remember the name of the restaurant but the food was amazing. Reception staff were helpful and efficient. Breakfast was varied and of a good quality. The rooms, which we didn't know untill arrival, were seperate buildings, not just a one-building hotel. I noticed the room was quite dusty but not unclean apart from this, we stayed here for 3 nights and every night we came back the room was cleaned. The room was of good space but our 'double bed' was clearly 2 singles pushed together. Overall not a horrible experience, if we were staying here for a week the location would have bothered us more however for a 3 night stay it wasn't completelly inconvenient. Devamı

Spring Break Hotel, can do pretty much whatever you want to do. Loud kids partying outside. Vomit all over the curtain, dirty bedspread and a filthy floor awaited us. Broken handrail and 5 flights of stairs to our room. If you are older, I don't think you would enjoy this hotel!

20minutes walk from nearest metro station on an awkward path. Arrived on Sunday, they did not have an iron on site to fix my shirt for an opening ceremony I had to attend. It is a 30 euros investment which they promised to have next time.

This Vatican "Pilgrimage" hotel is a great place in Rome: it's quiet and easily accessible by bus, with a lovely garden. It's almost too swanky now: I've stayed here in the 1980's when it was really spartan: showers down the hall, no AC, no baths in each room, no tv... a real Roman experience. Now it has all those things. The staff is friendly and very […] helpful, the rooms are clean and basic, but with phones, tv, baths, AC, etc. The bar is fairly basic, and the breakfast: well, if one avoids the instant eggs and greasy bacon, the rest is great. Here's the deal with Domus Pacis: Rome, especially in the summer is HOT and LOUD, this place is quiet and cool, easily accessible by bus to the Vatican (they'll even offer you Vatican stamps and postal service, the fastest in Italy). By American standards, it's not chic at all, but it's very reasonably priced and quite safe. Now getting to the bus stop is a bit of an experience, since the road in front is very busy, and, to get into Rome one has to go right, cross the street, and catch the bus on the opposite side of the road. Still, my mother (who has trouble walking about), my wife and my 13 year old daughter all really liked it. It's my third stay here, and I when I'm in Rome again, I plan to return. For American standards: well above a Motel 6, sort of like a Holiday Inn Express, but a bit more spartan (no workout room, say). Lo stato dell'Hotel non è gran che. Lo consiglio a giovani o famiglie che vogliono un punto di partenza vicino al centro della città e che vogliono risparmiare qualche euro. Comodo il parcheggio gratuito e le fermate dei bus per San pietro da dove si raggiunge tutta Roma.

La ubicacion es buena quedando muy cerca del Vaticano sin embargo la limpieza del hotel es bastante mala. La regadera del baño tenia hongos y se tapaba a los pocos minutos de bañarte. Todo el tiempo tiene ruidos de no sabemos si es la cistena o la caldera.

Nous avions déjà séjourné dans cet hotel il y a qqs années. A l'époque, il y avait un restaurant de grande qualité. Ce service n'est plus disponible, si vous désirez manger là-bas, il faudra se contenter de pâtes #pour la plupart surgelées# et de pizza. #ce qui est très réducteur gastronomiquement# Le personnel est poli mais peu sympathique. Hotellet fanns det inget märkvärdigt att klaga på. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal, i synnerhet vid transport frågor. En klar fördel var att busstransporten till och från hotellet var väldigt frekvent, vilket gjorde att man sparade en massa tid. Busshållplatsen ligger ca 50 m från hotellet. Hotellet är ej på gångavstånd till sevärdheter, dock […] finns även metro på 10 min gångavstånd. Annars är transport inom Rom en väsentlig del som man bör ha klart för sig innan man lämnar hotellet, gällande hur man skall ta sig från punkt A till punkt B. Är man oförberedd och börjar fråga folk ute i gatan så finns risken att man blir stående, ty det är få som behärskar engelska. Devamı

abbiamo trovato l'hotel comodo e tranquillo con molti giovani presenti. E' stato utilissimo per raggiungere l'imbarco di Civitavecchia anche in una giornata di intrenso traffico.

Das Hotel würde ich keineswegs weiterempfehlen. Angefangen mit dem Personal, welches ausschließlich an der Rezeption um Freundlichkeit und Service bemüht war. Der Rest des Personals möchte ich jetzt besser nicht erwähnen (Unfreundlich, Arrogant, keine Englisch Kenntnisse etc.) Die Anlage an sich ist zwar ganz nett und ruhig, allerdings ziemlich verschmutzt […] und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Das Restaurant kann man abends nicht benutzen, da dies nur für mehrere Gruppen vorgesehen ist (Man kann sich allerdings Snacks von der Bar holen, sofern man mit dem Barkeeper zurecht kommt...) Die Lage des Hotels ist in Ordnung. Man ist in ca. 2 Minuten an einer Bushaltestelle, von der aus man direkt in ca. 20 min. in der Innenstadt ist. Allerdings ist in der direkten Umgebung des Hotels so gut wie gar nichts geboten. Man muss also auf jeden Fall mit dem Bus Richtung Innenstadt fahren um beispielsweise Abends noch Essen gehen zu können. Die Zimmer sind der blanke Horror. Gesprungene Fließen am Boden, Dreck an den Wänden, eine viel zu kleine Dusche (ca. 70x70 cm !!) und das schlimmste, Schimmel an allen Ecken und Enden (vor allem im Bad). Sollten wir Rom nochmals besuchen, werden wir um dieses Hotel einen weiten Bogen machen. Allen anderen Reisenden denen dieses Hotel aufgrund der Beschreibung zusagt, kann ich nur davon abraten! Ma chambre simple (1 lit double) fût très décevante; Un peu de moisissure sur le plafond au dessus de la douche, la télévision désuète ne fonctionnait pas, les carreaux de céramiques blancs rendait la pièce peu agréable. Les abat-jours étaient recouverts d'une épaisse poussière, le téléphone était collant et l'air climatisé faisait du bruit. De plus, […] dans le hall d'entrée de l'hôtel tout paraît grandiose mais surprise, à l'arrière du bâtiment, derrière la grande terrasse on retrouve 6 bâtiments portant chacun un nom. Moi j'étais dans le "Giovanni". L'internet coût 5 euro la demi-heure, il y a 2 ordinateurs à disposition et ce n'est pas de la haute vitesse. Il y a un joilie bar, dans le bâtiment qui comprend le hall d'entrée et les salles de conférences. L'arrêt d'autobus est à disons 2 min. à pied de l'hôtel mais j'ai trouvé que c'était loin du centre de Rome. En taxi, hors heure de pointe, ça prend 20 minutes pour aller à l'aéroport Leonardo Da Vinci et il faut compter entre 50 et 60 EURO pour ce trajet. D'ailleurs à Rome faite attention de demande au chauffeur de taxi leur prix de base car on peut se faire avoir, croyez moi....Selon moi, dans cet l'hôtel l'extérieur est beaucoup plus jolie que l'intérieur. Je n'ai pas aimé la perte de temps pour le transport en métro et autobus, au moins si les gens avaient un air plus sympa...**Déjeuner inclu, long buffet variés, très bon mais fruits en conserve. La salle à dîner est dans le bâtiment principal, donc dans cet endroit c'est beau et grand. Devamı

Ho scelto questo hotel perchè mi dovevo recare nella zona Villa Pamphili ma in realtà la scelta non è stat buona perchè non avevo indicazioni per raggiungere l'hotel ed ho dovuto prendere un taxi da termini al costo di 50 € !! Propongo di specificare indicazioni di mezzi pubblici per raggiungere gli hotel nella descrizione degli stessi.

La posizione non è il massimo: è un pò lontano dal centro, anche se con il pullman si arriva in Città del Vaticano in circa 10 minuti. Ottimo servizio e personale gentile.

Das Hotel macht bei der Ankunft einen guten äusserlichen EIndruck. Rezeption und Eingangsbereich sind groß und nüchtern angelegt, alles wirkt eher unpersönlich. Das Empfangspersonal ist sehr freundlich, man erhält (wenn man möchte) gleich zu Beginn kompetent herübergebrachte Informationen über Rom, seine Sehenswürdigkeiten und die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. […] Fragen werden mit viel Hintergrundwissen erschöpfend beantwortet. Man sollte aber -wie auch sonst praktisch überall in Rom- einigermaßen gut Englisch sprechen. Die Zimmer befinden sich in vier außerhalb des Hotelgebäudes liegenden Häusern (wenn es regnet wird man nass auf dem Weg dorthin). DIe Zimmer sind räumlich ausreichend, die Dusche war eindeutig zu klein (geschätzte 60 x 60 cm), die Matrazen auf den Betten anderten über nacht, so dass sie morgens teilweise bist zu einem Drittel über die Bettgestellkante nach aussen ragten und die "Besucherritze" entsprechend groß war. Wohl aufgrund es Alters und vielleicht auch wegen mangelnder Pflege fand sich an entsprechenden Stellen Rost und andere Oxidation im Badezimmer. In der letzten Nacht hat eine Lüftungseinrichtung in einem nahegelegenen Zimmer schlafstörende Geräusche verursacht. Das Frühstück (einfaches Buffet) war wiederum ausreichend aber nicht wirklich schmackhaft. Alles in allem lässt sich wieder mal feststellen, dass südländischen 3 Sterne-Hotels gegenüber deutschen gleicher Kategorie qualitativ gesehen mindestens ein Stern fehlt. Devamı

Der Preis war zwar nicht übertrieben, aber das Hotel hatte auch nicht wirklich mehr verdient. Das Badezimmer war mit einer Dusche, die für extrem dünne Menschen geeignet ist, aber nicht für erwachsene Leute. Die Wände der Räume waren extrem dünn. Aber zum schlafen ist es ausreichend. Renovierung dringend erforderlich. Kein 3 Sterne Hotel. Zimmer sehr klein.Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren ok. In der Dusche war kein Bücken möglich. Hotelangestellte unfreundlich. Das Frühstück war schlecht. Kaum Auswahl. Alles sehr lieblos. Plastiklöffel, Plastikbecher usw.
