Beware of the mini Bar!! This is a lovely hotel and very nice allround, the breakfast area is in a charming room and the bed was amazingly comfortable, one issue was the sneaky mini bar that we thought was a welcome treat, One little plane size single serve bottle of wine and a packet of peanuts that we latter found out was not a welcome treat but an […] expensive added extra! Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.Location is OK. Buses and train are nearby. Can walk to the old part of Salzburg in about 20 mins. Would stay here again.

This hotel is located within walking distance of the town. The staff were nice the hotel clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable . There were seven in our group and all had good reports on hotel

We had a double room on the first floor. The room was great, although, our friends from another room said that ours was much bigger than their room. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was sufficient. Enjoyed this hotel and its value became even more apparent when we stayed in the next hotel in the following city of our trip. This basic hotel is a good bang for your buck. It's a few minutes walking distance between the bus/train station and the attractions. The front desk was helpful with all of our questions, and helped booked our tours. Don't forget to shine your shoes at the main exit with the machine to look baller with the local women!

The hotel is probably 15 minutes away from the airport by taxi. The hotel sells the all important Salzburg card and arranged for a Mozart concert dinner in St Peter and the Sound of Music tour. Calling for a taxi was a breeze as you only have to tell reception and voila! A taxi arrived within 2 minutes! The rail network is also just a few minutes walk […] away. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom and toilet were good enough for us, after all, as tourists, we did not stay in the hotel for most of the time. Breakfast was good too, with all the standard continental breakfast fare. It was constantly checked by staff and topped up. The staff were helpful and a free internet in the lobby was a bonus. The location was nice close to train station and restaurants, and about 15-20 minutes walking away from the main tourist area. Two things turned us off though. We were on the fifth floor and in the morning if the people below us were running water there no water . We also had what we hope was an isolated issue. We went shopping for the day to come back […] and find our room door wide open. Nothing was missing but it was a bit disturbing. Devamı

You better hope you don't miss place anything while staying here because then you may actually have to risk looking under the bed. The amount of dust bunnies under the bed was unimaginable! Along with other items left by guest like razors and toe nail clippings etc. Now I know why husband had a severe allergy attack during our trip.

Of all the four hotels I stayed in in Europe this one was the worst. The guy at the reception was not friendly at all, arrived at 13H15 and he just looked at me and said" you are to early to book in, you can come back at 14H00 The room was very small and like a sauna. The room was just too small.... and without air-con, it was too hot in summer. i am not going to use this hotel again.

We had an excellent holdiday in Salzberg, at the Hotel Lasserhof. Well arranged, well managed, well presented and well staffed. It was a joy to wake up to its buffet breakfast. Only downside was the duvet, too hot for summer! Visited a suggested local restaurant - "Die Weisse" and enjoyed its Austrian style premises, beer-garden, food and own beer. […] So impressed we went back another evening!!! Devamı

Very good size for a 'small double room' even with balcony. Toilet could be bigger but we're not big people. Staff at reception really friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast good, continental plus warm bacon & eggs. Location good for us - near the station and pleasant walk(through a big garden) to attractions.

We only stayed the one night, it was within walking distance to the city centre. Breakfast was sufficient. Third bed was a trundle and not very comfortable. Overall enjoyed the room and stay, bathroom was huge.

If you are looking for a smaller, local hotel that is not over priced and a tourist trap, the Lasserhof Salzburg is for you. Great breakfast and helpful staff. Room was a nice size and the bathroom had plenty of space. Wifi internet worked great, even all the way on the fifth floor. You can even book sightseeing tours right at the front desk up to a […] half an hour before the tour starts. Highly recommend the Panorama Super Saver tour if you have a full day to do it. Devamı

this hotel was very nice. the location was convenient to the train station. the location was quite a walk from downtown salzburg. the employee in the hotel went out of his way to provide great service to us. this included finding our reservation when we arrived and being very friendly, helping us select a tour during our stay, and even charging an ipod […] that we didnt bring a charger for. breakfast was a great selection every morning and nice setup. nice lounge/bar area near check-in desk and breakfast area too, complete with bar (open at night) and public computers with internet available for use. flat screen tvs in room and in lounge area downstairs. bathroom must have been recently renovated - nice feature. The hotel was really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Hotel is easy to find, close to the train station and close to the town and not far from the old town either. Have stayed their before but the hotel has been upgraded since. Would definitely stay again and thought that after the first stay as well.

I was actually quite impressed with this hotel. It's fairly basic but it was clean and everything worked. We only stayed one night but the staff were very helpful. It is within walking distance of the Mirabell gardens and the old town so it was perfect for sightseeing. The breakfast was very good, great value for money. One word of warning, the small […] double room is exactly what it says, small. But there was plenty of space for a one night stay. Devamı

This was our second stop on a 12 night trip and was very nice. Clean, quiet, breakfast is very good in a wonderful little room with an arched brick ceiling. Overall, a great hotel for the money!

The hotel was great pefect location as we were going on the sound of music tour early on the Sunday morning it was only a 5 minute walk to the tour bus stop. the staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was lovely a big choice of very nice food.

Hotel is pretty good. Pros: Plentiful breakfast buffet featuring mostly cold foods but hot eggs and bacon, with good variety. Location pretty close to shopping and food, a bit further to old city sights, but we walked every day and enjoyed it. Efficient wireless internet in guest rooms. Very clean. Efficiently run. The room was very clean and comfortable, although small. The bathroom was modern and spacious, with a nice hot shower. The included breakfast was excellent, with all kinds of breads, rolls and cereals, as well as scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, bacon, hams, etc. The hotel was within a few blocks of the Mirabella Gardens, and about a ten to fifteen […] minute walk to the center of the Old City. Room was very clean and appears to be recently renovated. Breakfast was better than other hotels on this trip. WiFi internet access was excellent (fast, free, and no time/bandwidth limits). It's close to the train station, but too far to walk if you have a lot of luggage. It's about a 10 minute walk to town.

Check-in was at a small table in the basement, nothing like I had ever experienced or expected. You could tell that this had been a converted residence and it was on the main thoroughfare; our window was behind a bus stop shelter. Bathroom and toilet were extemely small.

This hotel is not in a tourist area but is a nice 15 minute walk to town. Parking across the streeet is reasonable and convenient. The complimentary breakfast is adequate. The hotel guests were primarily Europeans which was very refreshing. We stayed in the 3 person rooms on the 5th (top) floor. Cannot recommend this hotel to any one under any circumstances.

The location is nice, quiet, and safe, and is walking distance from everywhere. You will have to walk, though, because by American standards it's about a 10 minute walk to the shopping on the same side of the river, and about 15 minutes on foot to Altstadt. Check in was easy. The room was quite tiny, but clean and comfortable. There was a very nice […] full bathroom with marble floors, counters, and window-sills. If you are American, bring your own soap and shampoo, as they did not supply what Americans think of as soap or shampoo. They supply only a liquid soap for the sink, and a multipurpose liquid soap in a dispenser in the shower, which I suppose is to be used on both body and hair. The free wifi was a MAJOR plus, and it worked fabulously and was very quick. Breakfast was a little skimpy, and they always started removing it before the designated breakfast hours were over, which I didn't like. Devamı

A friendly, small hotel, not to far away from the centre of Salzberg. Good breakfast, neat and tidy. A good place to stop.

This was the only 3 star we stayed in and it was fine- but I definitely noticed the difference between a 4 star and 3. The breakfast was good. The room very basic - without many amenities. The location was good though and overall - we were comfortable - so no complaints.

The hotel is relatively easy to find, and located within walking distance to downtown sights. Room was generally good, with a very small bathroom. No air conditioning and typically noisy traffic starting in the early morning. Breakfast was standard, WiFi worked, though the parking area was very limited and on the street.

Overall this was a good hotel. The best part about it was the breakfast. It was free and it wasn't just bagels or cereal. They had a great assortment of food and staff there for anything you needed. There are two things to know about this hotel. One is that if you are looking for a double occupancy room, the rooms at this hotel are quite small and the […] beds are placed together, not good for privacy. The other is that there is only one key to the room, so again if you are looking for a double occupancy room this can make it challenging. Very nice staff and room... it was just a bit further from the castle and Mozart's birthplace than we would have liked. Mozart's residence wasn't too far. I should have paid better attention to the map when I was booking.

Great place. Really close to train station and main attractions of town (short walk 5-10 min, safe area). Nice rooms, comfy bed, updated furniture, clean bathroom, courteous staff (family run), great breakfast included, free wi-fi... would totally stay there again.
