when we come to the beach area in so. cal, we always stay at the Ayres and will continue to do so.

My stay was very realxing and comfortable. My bed was very comfortable and the pillows werent flat! The staff was very friendly even the housekeepers smiled and answered my questions. Maybe they can put an ice/vending machine on the first floor??

Even though I only stayed one night on business, I thought it was just delightful. The large lobby is somehow cozy with a good size library and the rooms are decorated with beautifully appointed furniture....The complimentary full breakfast was an added treat. This hotel provides the best rooms and breakfast of any surrounding hotels. Made to order breakfast and a very friendly staff. The price for this quality hotel cannot be beat.

I stayed from Four Season Hotel to Best Western and if I compare, must say decoration passes Four Season Hotel and Comfort for the price is extremly resonalble that I becam member of their hotel group at the departure time I will not hesitate to check in again ROCKS

Love it. So helpful with our 1 year old twins. Got us in a room before 3 (for nap time) and had 2 cribs in it set up.

this was overall a very good hotel, the free breakfast was awesome! the only bad thing i can say about this place is that there is next to no water pressure in the shower, and the water in the sink shoots, if you turn it on too fast it will shoot all over you

Great staff. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The location of this hotel was perfect. It was within a few miles of the beach, and I could even walk there. The hotel was beautiful; there are comfortable beds and great furniture. The hotel is very tasteful and decorated very elegantly. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

WoW...the interiors and the hallways are VERY VERY NICE......gas a great patio and a unbelievable pool. Breakfast was delicious with hot eggs, sausage and bacon. Easy toi, with a shopping center in the back..only complaint i have is that the room carpet was stained and the rooms are a bit crampy,

Everything about this hotel was as expected with one exception. Although the sound proofing for the freeway so close by was great. The noise from the guests above us was not. The only recommendation I would give is to ask for a TOP floor room. Everything else was very nice. Enjoy

Beautiful hotel for a beautiful city. Everything was perfect. I arrived early and they were able to check me in with no problems. Staff was kind and helpful. I will certainly stay here again.

This place is nice and friendly - clean with free internet. The breakfast was really nice quality and included in the price! You can't beat that. There are a couple fast places to eat within a 2 minute walk, and a nice assortment of shopping 1 mile down the road (Target, Vons, Marshall's, CPK)

We were very pleased with our stay at the Ayres Hotel. It was very conveniently located - close to the freeway, the beach, walking distance and/or short drive to shopping areas. We thoroughly enjoyed the Ayers Hotel. Everything about it was top notch. The service, decor, room size and cleanliness, etc. The hotel has the looks and feel of a fine European hotel.

This is a very clean, comfortable facility. The breadfasts were excellent, and pools and parking were good. We were glad to have chosen this hotel for our short stay.

After days of reading reviews I chose to stay at Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach.The staff was friendly & welcoming. The room was spotless, very roomy, but mostly comfortable. Loved the fridge & micro, although we didn't use either. I needed to feel secure in addition to having comfort, & Ayers fit the bill. Would def recommend. The hotel was in a great location for us and the staff were great. The only 2 complaints I have was the shower had very little pressure and the room temp was extremely hard to regulate.

We were very impressed with the Ayres hotel, great lobby and the rooms were exceptional. Don't know what kind of mattresses they use but both my husband and I commented on how comfortable they were. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and was very good. They offer a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, fruit, sweets, cereal, yogurt and will […] even make you an omelet - excellent. My husband and I recently stayed at the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach and had a great experience. The room was very nice and comfortable. The parking was very close to the building; access to the 405 was incredible. We loved the free breakfast in the morning and enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard. The only negative we can say is that they didn't have […] room service in the evening, which would have been nice...but there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Definitely would stay there again. I love the Ayres Hotels and this one lives up to their high standards. The only things wrong with this stay is the tub didn't drain and the breakfast was cleaned up well before the end of the time it was supposed to end. They promised that the next day they would open the whole time. We were checking out however.

They even have a nice buffet appetizers and drinks during the week and great cookies all evenings! Nice touch. Breakfasts outstanding, Clean, comfortable!

Have stayed here before, that's why we've come back. Also, the real reason is because it's across the street from Koby's and Spaghetini's. We enjoy these two places.

Loved the hotel and the great jazz club across the street. Wonderful location - wonderful food and live entertainment. Can't wait to go back!

I highly recommend this place with it´s friendly people and great service. All the facilities were in good working condition and unlike other places we´ve seen the pool and hout-tub were operational in the middle of december, too. The breakfeast was great and even included omelette-to-order. Also liked the cookies that they offered.

The hotel was nice. The staff very helpful, comfortable beds and the room was very nice. Freeway noise was loud with the window open, but with the window closed it was fine. I did like that windows do open to get fresh air.

Room was extremely clean. Staff was friendly and attractive. Great location and full breakfast.

I stayed on 11/22/2010, the hotel and my room were extremely clean...spotless. All the staff that I dealt with were friendly, and a free hot breakfast (I had a made to order omelet) made this hotel a real bargain.
