Chicago havaalanından otelin bedava shuttle'ı ile otele ulaştım. 15 dakika kadar mesafede zaten. Katılacagım toplantı o bölgede olduğu için şehrin merkezinde kalmak istemedim. Odam çok geniş, pırıl pırıldı. Aynı şekilde çok geniş banyosu, banyosunda ayrı ayrı hem duş, hem de küvet vardı. Tek sorun, kahve makinesi bozuktu. Değiştirmelerini istediğimde ellerinde başka makine olmadığını söylediler, ama ne zaman istersem bir termos kahve veya çay için sıcak su getireceklerini bildirdiler. Ayrıca otelin giriş katındaki Starbuckstan da kahvemi bedava alabileceğimi söylediler. Oteldeki concierge Sırp, restoranı ve Starbucksı işletenler Faslı bir karı-kocaydı. Bütün personel gayet cana yakın ve ilgiliydi. Ayrıca Business Roomdaki bilgisayarları oda anahtarınızla ücret ödemeden kullanabiliyorsunuz. Bir sonraki seyahatimde aynı oteli keyifle tercih ederim.

"Great service and great location - but showing age"
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was great, but the hotel is starting to age. If there is a problem just tell the desk person and they will make it right. The rooms were clean and workout room was great.
"Business Trip"
Nice hotel at a good price! The breakfast in the morning was better than most hotels offer. The room was clean and functional. Very close to the office and good access to restaurants and attractions. I would recommend this hotel!

"John and the rest of the staff are wonderful"
Business travel hotels generally can be a hit or miss experience. In this regard the brand does not matter. This Wingate is not a perfect hotel, the room above the indoor spa pool has humidity issues, the room cleaning was not 100% perfect. However here service and attentiveness outstrip that you would expect. This was my first business trip with mother […] and 4 month old twins in tow and the staff and John in particular made the trip a pleasure. The shuttle service is a real boon and diapers were dropped off when I had to leave for meetings. If you treat people with respect, you should expect to receive the same. This is an hotel run by nice people. They get a lot of business from long haul airline staff who I noticed also had genuine affection for the hotel and the staff. From here I traveled to the Beverly Hilton Hotel, which is just as nice but a whole lot more expensive! Thank you for giving us a pleasant stay in the Chicago area Wingate Scahumburg. Devamı

This is the only hotel I stay in given a choice. It is close to anything you need, but not so close as to wake you with busy traveled roads. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are always clean.

"Nice Hotel if you do not need sleep"
It is a nice hotel but poorly built. Every time someone walked in their room above mine, it sounded like a pack of elephants. You could hear the guest in their bathroom next door through the air vents. The noise from the hallway was very loud. Evidently they skimped on the construction with no soundproofing - insulation and cheap wood truss floors. […] Just walking through the hallway you can hear the floor creak and pop. Devamı

"Nice... but..."
Hotel was very nice everywhere, until we pull down the bed sheets... Stains on the bottom sheet and on the top comforter. Call down to see what they are going to do. They offer to bring up clean sheet but we would have to put them on ourselves. The front desk tells us to talk to the manager on duty in the morning to see what they can do for us, get […] there and they have no idea of what we were talking about. "Wingate by Wyndham- Schaumburg"
I have stayed at a lot of different hotels this year alone and by far, Wingate is an exceptional hotel! I booked it last minute and was astonished with its great customer service, cleaniness and spacious rooms, whirlpool, fitness center, and great breakfast. Would definitely recommend you to book a stay here!

"It Our Annivesary!!!!!!"
We had a nice weekend spending time together for our Annivesary.........I was mad abt the rain in Chicago on Sat 09/03/11 but we just went to get something to eat and had a nice time in the room spending time together.......The hotel was very nice and clean the breakfast was nice we would stay again........We have no complaints..........
"Clean/Conveinient/Quiet"
I look for a few things in a hotel when we travel cleanliness, easy to get to location, and the room has to be quiet. Wyndham in Schaumburg was all three.
"What a Dump!!!!"
Had it not been for the apologetic and professional front desk staff we would have made a huge stink about the musty smell in the room, burn marks on the carpet, broken shower knob that disabled use, broken microwave knob difficult, but functioning use. Pillows smell like bowel movement, broken window screen letting all sort of insects into the room, […] peeling wall paper in bathroom. I was told this was an updated room. "Hop, Skip and a Jump from Medieval Times"
This motel is just a Hop, Skip and a Jump from Medieval Times. I probably wouldn't have found it without my GPS but I'm glad it found it. Not on the main drag, peaceful, quite, with excellent staff. The included breakfast included a variety of choices and was good quality food. They appeared to be in the process of remodelling parts of the motel. But […] there was no mess or noise to bother us. "Not a better than the Stay Inn"
I didn't enjoy my stay at the Wingate. The room I was given was a pretty good size. I was happy to find that it was somewhat spacious however that is the only thing that I found positive about this room. The bed was comfortable but there were stains on the covers and pillowcases. The bed runner also had a huge grease stain on it. The bathroom was small. […] The shower curtain was not big enough to close completely and the shower rod was literally falling off of the wall. We also had issues with the door closing. After walking in or out of the room we would have to turn the knob so that the door would shut fully. It didn't just close behind like other hotels doors do. The breakfast had a wide variety but I was disappointed when I found hair on my boyfriend’s food. All in all I was very upset with my stay. I visit Schaumburg may be once a month and usually stay at the Stay Inn hotel but decided to try something different. I think the Stay Inn will be where I stay from now on. Oh and the room number I stayed in was 327 so if you do decide to stay at Wingate and they offer you this room request another. Maybe we just had a bad room Devamı
"Better Stay Elsewhere"
Booked because it was on sale at hotels.com. Here is our recap: GOOD: Once we got in the room it was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free breakfast including cereal, eggs, sausage, bagels and pancakes. Free Parking Close to Freeway BAD: 1. Arrived and we couldn't find someone to check us in. After minutes of standing around and looking around […] corners we finally realized the desk person was sleeping on the floor in the back room. He actually asked us if we needed help as he was still lying down. 2. Mattress was not very comfortable. Pillows were small and looked like they were made for infants. 3. Floors are very thin. This led to us hearing every footstep above us. We had two sleepless nights. Talked to the front desk guy and he said, "next time call us and we will call security". 4. We let the front desk know of our experience. Left for the day to find that our keys had been deactivated. We had to ask the person we made the complaint about to reactivate. Took a long time. I would stay again and recommend to others. Room was very comfortable and clean and spacious.
Nice location and large room. Just stayed one night but will probably stay in this hotel again when we come up to visit our son in Chicago. Free parking and easy access to hotel to highway.

"nice room"
The motel is in a quiet area, but still in a good location. Room was a good size, and clean. People we had contact with at the front desk were very nice. However, the work out room was a big disappointment. Very small, and one of the pieces of equipment wasn't working.

"smelly carpets and rooms"
Rooms were smelly and noisy, especially at night. Our room was' vibrating' from the steps of the guests located in the room on the floor above of us. They offered to move us to another room, but we were a group of 6 people, hard to find 3 rooms available for such move. Breakfast was good, housekeeper rushed to clean our rooms, she would knock at the […] door, even before breakfast time finished. I will not go back to this hotel, other options are available for this price in the same area. Devamı
"Middle Ground"
The room was nice enough, the bathroom was in need of an update. It has a jetted tub that shot mold out of the jets. Borderline on cleaniness. Luckily I wasn't asleep yet but it was very noisy when a little league baseball team checked in.

After a road trip of several hotels this hotel was by far my favourite! The staff were friendly and helpful. The carpets did look worn but my wife and I found out later that they were due to be replaced. Room decor was lovely-Over all a great hotel to stay in. Convenient location to the airport. The Woodfield Mall (largest mall in the midwest according […] to the clerk) is only a five minute drive. Another plus was; there were nearby shops near the hotel for that quick drink or food. I was very impressed with this hotel. I stayed here to be close to Medeival Times. We asked for a shuttle but there was a convention, so we could not get one. "Schaumburg hotel"
A lot of noise from the kids in the room above us. Some nights continued till 3:00 AM. Wedding party at hotel went to 4 AM., noise from lobby woke us up several times. We have stayed at this hotel 3 to 4 times a year, for the past 5 years. But the policy changes have forced us to seek alternate facilities.

This hotel was great. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The only downside is no swimming pool. Would definately stay here again.
