Gatwick Belmont Hotel - Horley

When you don't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel but want a cheap place to stay that's clean enough, conveniently located, and gets the job done, this was fine. I'd probably even stay here again, even though it was pretty unglamourous.

I enjoyed my stay as I had an early flight and much needed rest. The Gatwick Belmont was ideal for this. They have a restaurant and the food was good. They also offer shuttle pickup to and from Gatwick for very cheap and this was by far the best selling perk. This hoel worked very well for an overnight stay near the airport. The city bus will take you directly there in about 3 min. for £1.80. The single room I had was fine for the price ,but a little noisy because it was adjoining the lobby by the front door.

Hotel is in a very safe quiet neighboorhood...shuttle bus takes about 5 mins to and from airport and hotel....was there in January..room was cold, didn't have enough heat even when i turned it to the max heating still stayed the same...bathroom was very small, you shower where you brush your teeth also

Booked the hotel because of an early flight out of Gatwick airport. The hotel was cheap and offered a cheap shuttle service, free wifi and a clean, neat room.

Needed a hotel close to the airport and this hotel caught my eye because of the location and the great rates. They also offer a shuttle bus to and from both terminals at Gatwick Airport so that saved money $$. The hotel served as a stopover for me, as i had a 9 AM takeoff scheduled and needed a close hotel that did not cost too much. The room was the size of a very small bedroom, with a bed, a nitetable (small), and a small chest with a small TV on it. The bathroom was also VERY small with a shower that could not be redirected when turning it on (which soaked […] my arm while setting the temp), a small sink with separate H & C controls and a toil;et. The sink was a challenge when brushing your teeth as there was a shelf above it that caused you to hit your head when you leaned over to spit out the foam from brushing. In addition, the fact that it was located a mile from the airport was an initial sellin point until I was told the the pickup and delivery from/to the airport was 5 British pounds each way. The food in the restaurant was good, but hardly what I would write home about. Even this was also expensive, but not too much. Over all, the price for the one night and the 10 pound shuttle cost were about what the results were - a fairly clean place to rest but nothing else worth mentioning. Not much to this place, but it's close to Gatwick. Friendly staff makes up for some of it.

The Belmont is conveniently located just 1.5 km from the North Terminal in Gatwick. It has a shuttle service at GBP 5/one way which is GBP 3 cheaper than a taxi. The service was friendly, the room clean, but the noise level in the house through the comings and goings was excessive. It also seemed to us that the telephone was located in the hall for […] everybody to. The door did not properly fit the doorframe but was made to fit, so privacy was a bit challenging. Wi-Fiは辛うじて部屋で使えますが、電波弱いです。 風呂場が狭すぎてだめです。 また入り口横の部屋だったので、出入りが夜中までありうるさくて眠れなかったです。 やすくもないし。いいところ無しです。

Ble tatt imot av hyggelig betjening og rommet et 3sengsrom var helt greit.Hotellet har en koslig hage med bord og stoler.Puben og frokostsalen er fin.Vi ble kjørt til Gatwick av personalet og det var flott utført arbeid:-)Hotelle ligger i en liten by,med noen helt ok butikker.Det meste vi kjøpte ble gjordt her.Hotellet ligger maks 10 min fra togstasjonen.Toget […] tar ca. 40min. til Victoriastasion. Hotellet er meget traditionelt for områdets øvrige bygninger og dermed meget charmerende udenpå og har en charmerende bar. Vi overnattede udelukkende for at kunne tage et fly næste morgen, så fik ikke det store indtryk af nabolag mv. Hotellet var i fin stand, men ligger lidt på afstand af terminalen.

Eldre hotell, men hyggelig betjening. Det beste er minibussfrakten de tilbyr til/fra Gatwick.
