Candlewood Suites Wichita Airport - Viçita

THE CLERK WHO CHECKED US IN WAS A FEMALE AND DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB TO MEET ALL OUR NEEDS SHE'S A KEEPER!~!!! SHE WORKDED HARD AT MAKING YOUR BUSINESS LOOK GREAT FOR US!

This was convienant for what we were doing, I was a little dissapointed, it wasnt up to the standards of the other Candlewoods that I have stayed in. The room was a little dated, peel venier on the bathroom cabinets, ozinator was running in the room while we were there for what was probably the room being wet. Stayed in the Queen bed studio suite and it was nice...now, not 5 star quality, and the kitchen was a bit 70s looking, but it was very clean and comfortable, so that's what really mattered to me. I liked the bed (nice and firm), but my husband didn't as he prefers a soft mattress, but no hotel could really do anything about that!

I am continually impressed by Candlewood, and this stay was no different. Clean rooms equipped with basic appliances make for a pleasant overnight and I'm assuming are great for a person staying for a few days in a location. I think what I like most is that they cut out services that don't really matter to me, but would result in higher rates. This […] particular location was clean, quite (save the occasional rumble of a jet taking off or landing at the airport), and had friendly staff. I will likely return if staying in the Wichita area. We have stayed at a "bazillion" hotels in our lives and must say this one ranks among the tops at this price point. From check in to check out the team at this place makes you feel at home. The room was clean and very handy. Perfect for an extended stay with the kitchenette and well stocked utensils. The room was great. It was clean, comfortable and very affordable. I will definitely stay there again.

It was a little warm in my room when I checked in and noticed that it wasn't cooling off. When I mentioned it to the girl at the front desk she promptly moved me to another room where the AC worked perfectly. I was really pleased with her willingness to get on the problem right away. The front desk ladies were very nice and had a good sense of humor. […] Was a pleasant experience. Flew in late and had an early morning so was looking for something comfortable and close to the airport. It was only a few minutes from the airport and was just like coming home. nice bed, clean kitchenette area, nice bathroom. Everything was great. Just wish I could have stayed in longer. Don't know much about the area as for restaurants because of […] my late arrival (most everything was closed) but Wichita isn't that large of a town so i'm sure you're close to everything. Really nice staff, great kitchenette, close to restaurants and grocery stores, easy access to the highway system as well, clean laundry room on site, hotel has a store for food, video and dvd rental at the front desk, felt like a safe neighborhood, and I really liked the "green" feel, housekeeping changes towels after you leave unless you ask at the […] front desk, and they do not make the bed every day either, which I appreciated very much. The staff were to helpful. The rooms were full of amenities that were unexpected. I loved the recliner in the room. The beds were so comfortable. I will definately stay at Candlewood Suites again.

The Candlewood West in Wichita is a great place. It is a little out of the way, but the rate made it an excellent choice. The kitchen came in very handy and I certainly enjoyed the recliner in the room. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Wichita!
