Hotel Centro - Roma

So happy with our stay here.. Great location ,close to everything- restaurants, attractions . Great service, great breakfast .Would definately come back again.

Room was nice sized and staff was very friendly. The breakfast was more than adequate and was free - similar to what you would find in a German or Austrian hotel. Tours were arranged with the staff and they picked me up at the lobby to go to the Vatican and to other Rome sites. I had an opening to a balcony looking across the Opera house and could hear […] part of the performance, which was a nice perk. For the most part, the stay was positive. The negatives were that the safe did not work (The safe was designed to work with the room key, instead of the more modern digital types that are common these days). The front door of the safe was painted over, so you could not open it. It was relatively hot for late March and the air conditioning was not turned on yet, so the room was hot and stuffy unless you opened the window to the balcony, Devamı

The hotel is located near the "TERMINI"- train's last station, and is in a very central location. Since the hotel is in an ally and not on the main street, the hotel is very quiet. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. there was a clean bathroom with hot water all day long. Breakfast was also very good, fresh maid Italian espresso and nice […] open buffe. The room was small. since we used it only to sleep between the day-trips, it was great. If were in Rome again, we would come back to the hotel. Devamı

The "per night" rate was cheap and so was the first impression. Nothing special about the room, it was clean and the bathroom was ok. The breakfast included in the price was simple but the coffee / cappuccino was very good. The staff was polite. It was close to bus and metro so it's easy to get to all places around Rome. the room looked nothing like the photographs i would say. also i really disliked that i had the do not disturb sign out and they came into my room anyway, they obviously saw the sign because they placed it on the table in the room. Mu daughter and I spent 4 nights in this hotel during our visit to Rome. We really enjoyed our stay .The reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. Spoke perfect English. The room were extremely clean, beds and pillows a little hard but that was ok. Our bathroom was modern and the air conditioner worked well and was quiet. We had a Juliette window […] that looked at another building, but who cares you are in Rome. TV was great. Every evening you could hear the local church bells playing "Ave Maria" at 6pm. Wow. The hotel is walking distance of everything, even the vatican. The metro is 2 blocks away , 1 Euro for a ride.The train station is within 10 minutes easy walkiing distance. The buffet breakfast is very nice and the area is very clean. There is a little grocery store located a 5 minute walk along the main street on the right. Great to buy milk and cheese.We were not scared to walk around at night. This hotel is a wonderful gem in a big city. If you like the simple things in life then this is the place. great hotel. an easy walk from Termini, only a block from the Repubica metro station, on a quiet side street. hotel staff also very nice and helpful. my only complaints would be that the room was a bit dark and the breakfast buffet a bit lacking in variety. but still had a great stay at hotel centro.

location is ok but the room is not worth the $$$$.i asked the front desk for tissue they told me if u need them (tissue() go to the corner store and buy them we dont supply them.the room was fairly clean but again not worth the $$$.i guess it is best to either pay the big bucks for a nice room or just save the $$ and just get a desent room in a better […] location. i will never stay at this place again...i would recommened the hotel erdierille its right down the block from the spanish steps it look great... clean. food was good and location was great, everthing was in easy locaton, all main monuments within easy walking distance, although if you are not fit, the walking upwards to he hotel would be a killer after 10 hours of sightseeing. 5 mins easy walking to train station. lots of restaurants within easy reach - turn right and right again towards the […] coluseum and there is a lovely open air restaurant searving quality food. Turn left on the the nationale and there is a spa shop which is reasonably cheap compared to everything else in Italy, a 660ml bottle of beer 1 euro 20. overall enjoyed my stay but hotel was very basic and could do with coffee making facilities. they have a tv but no englsh channels, not even bbc world news! free internet and free wifi in the reception area. great pastries for breakfast. Brilliant location, a few minutes from Termini and a couple of minutes from a metro stop. Also walking distance to lots of main tourist spots e.g. colosseum, Trevi fountain, and lots of good restaurants round about. The hotel itself was fine, nothing spectacular but we only wanted somewhere to sleep for a few nights, the location makes up for it. Breakfast […] could do with improvement but was okay. Hotel Centro was awesome! it was our favorite place to stay in Italy. Alberto at the front desk was most kind and extremely helpful when it came to the city, places to eat or just general information. It was very close to the train station and right around the corner from the bus stop. The breakfast was ok and don't forget free internet. Not all the […] hotels we stayed in offered free internet. The hotel is located walking distance to the train terminal, subway, city center and most of the attractions. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. But it's very old and lack of maintenance. It seems a bit over charge for it's conditions.

Hotel Centro was conveniently located--15 minutes walking distance from Roma Termini and 5 minutes to the Republica Metro station. Lots of good shopping along Via Nazionale. As is the case with most European hotels, the room was small, but clean and had its own bathroom. Management was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price of the […] room. Also include free wifi. Rooms are air conditioned--a must in Rome summers. There is a city tax (per person) added to the bill at the end of one's stay. Some restaurants in the area, but we chose to eat when we were out sightseeing. Would highly recommend this hotel to others. Devamı

The location is great and the employees are wonderful. The furniture is a little old but it makes for a great experience. I will return.

good things: great location great service- very helpful staff- helped us with travel recommendations in rome and travel to frienze good size bathroom. bad things: small room- very very dated breakfast bad - crossiants/ bread/yogurt..(good coffee though) Overall- pictures of the room on hotels.com is not true. at all. Location was great!!!!!! Access to all the big monuments and attractions all within walking distance. Surrounding neighborhood was also wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and although the rooms are fairly small (we were a family of four needing one room due to young children), they were clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel is no frills but was a good price. It worked out very well for us. Say hello to Alberto and Francesco if you stay there at the front desk.

Staff friendly, good location however rooms were a disappointment. We stayed at Hotel Centro on two separate occasions. Both times we stayed in a quad room. The first room we stayed in was nicer than the second room in terms of space and washroom facilities. The second room we stayed in had less light from the outside and the washroom ceiling was under […] repair. We did not notice this until into the late evening so we were too tired to do anything about it. It was obvious that some plumbing work was being done. While using the washroom water droplets would occasionally fall on us from the ceiling that was being repaired. Also, in both washrooms the shower did not work unless the shower head was held by hand. If the shower head was attached to the upper hook the water pressure would become nonexistent. No counter space in the washroom for toiletry bags. The walls of both hotel rooms also needed to be cleaned. The breakfast was okay (milk was warm so my children did not like that). Overall, we were somewhat disappointed based on the reviews we had read however I reminded myself it is only a two star hotel and it was in a good location. Devamı

Siamo una famiglia di 4 persone che ha soggiornato per 5 notti nel hotel Centro. La pulizia è media ma accettabile come anche il livello di manutenzione. La colazione non è particolarmente buona ma sufficiente. La quadrupla pur essendo una matrimoniale con due letti aggiunti è spaziosa, il bagno sufficientemente ampio, i materassi in buonissimo stato. […] la posizione molto centrale, vicina a Termini ma comunque in una zona più tranquilla e ben frequentata. Mycket trevlig personal. Hotellet ligger nära till alla sevärdheter och centralstationen. Frukosten OK, man blir mätt men vi saknade något varmt. Rent även om något nedgånget. Safetyboxen, som var ett utrymme i yttre väggen, var genommöglig!!! men det funkade med en plastpåse :) Helt OK hotell och värt sitt pris.

Hyvä sijainti ja palvelu toimi. Varauksessa luvattiin parveke, mutta huoneessa ei ollut parveketta. Huoneen kunto oli pikemminkin kahden tähden luokkaa kolmen sijaan.

Sijainti paras mahdollinen - ainakin lähes. Paikat ja tekstiilit pidettiin kunnossa - erittäin hyvin. Aamupala lähes pohjoismaisen runsas. Itse rakennus vanha ja kulunut. Henkilökunta kauttaaltaan ystävällistä. Tarkkana kaupunkiveron maksun kanssa, pyytäkää kuitti ehdottomasti maksettuanne.

Sit.géo super, petit déjeuner ok Chambre très sale. Notre chambre était pleine d'insectes. Nous avons demandé de changer de chambre mais la 2ème n'était pas meilleure. Toute la chambre était rempli de poussière. Nous ne pouvions ouvrir les portes des armoires tellememt celle ci étaient remplis de poussière.Nous nous sommes dis que la chambre allait […] être nettoyée le jour après notre transfer, mais ça n'a pas été le cas. Bra läge, OK frukost, mycket trevlig personal. Kan rekommendera detta hotell till alla som bara vill ha ett schysst ställe att bo på.

Vi var et par på langhelg i roma med studenøkonomi. Hotellet ligger ikke midt i "smørøyet", men i gåavstand til alt som er verdt å se. Vi kunne lett gå til Trevifontenen, Spansketrappene, Patheon og Colosseum. Til Vatikanet kan det vere greit å ta metro, og metrostatsjonen ligger et steinkast unna hotellet. Anbefaler likevel gode sko, det blir mye gåing […] i denne byen :) Servicen på hotellet var upåklagelig, hyggelige resepsjonister og skikkelig rengjøring. Frokosten var enkel, men helt grei til denne prisen. Rommet vårt var stort, og badet var i god stand. Vet ikke om de andre rommene er like. Vil absolutt abefale dette hotellet!! Devamı

Petit hotel, bien confortable, avec un petit dejeuner plus que correcte. Il est bien situe, a 5 minutes a pieds du metro et 10 min de la station Termini. A recommander...

Hotel Centro me è piaciuto. Convenient location. Tutte le principali attrazioni di Roma sono raggiungibili a piedi. Il personale cortese. Le camere sono pulite.

Respan Alberto saa erityiskiitokset mahtavasta palvelustaan!!! Kaikki muu keskinkertaisen hyvää: aamupala, siisteys, huone. Hotelli sen sijaan todella hyvällä paikalla, rauhallinen & turvallinen sivukuja mutta keskeisellä paikalla!

Hotellet ligger fint. 100 m fra Via Nazionale. Værelse og bad fortrinligt. Morgenmad helt okay. Lounge/bar fandtes, men var, ærgerligt nok, fuldstændig dødt område, uanset tidspunkt på dagen. Velfungerende gratis wi-fi område. MEGET prisgunstigt, de tre dage jeg boede der.

Ett enkelt men charmigt hotell med mycket bra läge på en lugn liten gata nära Termini. Eftersom vi var där i januari var priset mycket lågt, och hotellet då väldigt prisvärt. När jag har tittat på priset vid högsäsong är det alldeles för högt i förhållande till vad man får, tycker jag. Då skulle jag inte välja detta hotell. Frukosten helt ok, men själva […] matsalen är trist då den ligger i husets källare. Det finns en kaffemaskin, men säg till personalen så får du gott nygjort kaffe från köket istället för automatkaffe. Rummet var litet men bra. Trevlig personal. Devamı

Отель расположен очень удобно, но если вам дали первоначально ужасный номер, на 2 этаже, то просите нормальный: теплый, светлый и тихий на других этажах-они есть!!! Еще хочеться сказать про завтрак-он очень скудный.

Mycket prisvärt hotell med bra läge. Rena och prydliga rum. Mycket hjälpsam personal. Enda minus: restaurang- och utflyktstipsen från receptionen inget vidare, kändes som de handlade på kommission.

Bien situé, peu lumineux (une minuscule fenêtre en haut à droite de la pièce. Lit double de 140 cm un peu petit quand on est pas habitué. Très propre, bon rapport qualité prix et bien situé pour le shopping et les visites. Personnel parfois sympathique parfois moins selon qui se trouve à l'accueil. Je le recommanderai toutefois!

Vi blev mycket väl bemötta på detta hotell som annars är av medelklass. Läget är centralt med närhet till alla almänna kommunikationer. Det enda man skulle önska är något bättre frukost, annars ett toppenhotell i prisklassen.

Hotel Centro er et fint hotel i centrum. Det ligger tæt på busterminalen samt centrale shopping gader. Værelse og bad var i fin stand (ligeså godt som på billederne) og hotellet tilbød både morgenmad og fri internet.

Väldigt enkel frukost, trist med automatkaffe i Italien. Vi hade tur att få ett rum med stor terass, rummet var ganska trångt. Gratis WiFi som dock bara fungerade i lobbyn.

séjour de 3 jours. Idéal pour visiter car proche de la gare et des transports. Chbre familiale avec 2 préados. L'espace était suffisant. La SDB a été refaite mais la propreté est juste le nécessaire. Ne pas trop regarder les détails. La clim est assez ancienne , bruyante mais plus que necessaire à Rome en août.Les couloirs sont délavés. Le breakfast […] est comme souvent, leger et juste suffisant. Mais le personnel est sympa, acceuillant, aimable et serviable. Bien pour ce que nous en avons fait. Devamı
