HYATT house San Diego/Carlsbad - Carlsbad

Everything was great, the location, the room, the staff, and the breakfast. The only thing to look out for is the fact that the hotel is right next to the train tracks and you can hear the trains pass by in the middle of the night.

Very nice room and pool area Great restaurant short walk away. Excellent breakfast included. Ver friendly staff. A wonderful stay.

Perfect for family vacation to Legoland. Shuttle to/from Legoland very convenient. Morning breakfast (eggs, pancakes/waffles, etc) also perfect with young kids. Came home from Legoland and evening reception (beer, wine, snacks) also hit the spot. Jumped in the pool and hot tub every night. Great stay ...

Spacious room, free breakfast and happy hour, helpful staff.

The hotel and room were great. The noisy train was not good. Also, the contracted food service was horrible. It took 1 hour and 45 mind for food to arrive and when it did, it was cold. Food customer service was unapologetic except for the representative who made a follow up call. I would recommended the hotel, but definitely not the food service.

Very good stay with comfortable room and amenities. Parking is free and wifi is free. Free breakfast and close to Legoland as well as other San diego attractions such as Seaworld. Close to beach as well. Just a really good stay overall and would return again.

We were very happy. The room was awesome especially for the size of my family. Very comfortable for 2 adults two kids and one baby. I will definitely come back.

Nice, clean and close to Legoland. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed during a sold out week. There were never enough pool towels. The breakfast food was not good at all.

I was happy with my stay at Morgan Run for the money I paid. Great place for family since the kids loved the pool. Little bit older crowd but had a good trip. Location is beautiful and grounds kept up since it is a golf club. We were able to stay at pool later than 8:00pm which was nice.

We were extremely happy with our stay at the Hyatt House. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was clean and comfortable. After long days at Legoland, SeaWorld, etc... It was great to come "home" to such a welcoming environment. If we make it back to the area, the Hyatt House will be our first choice!

Everything is perfect, except the nearby railway. The noise woke us up in the morning, with window closed. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the room and service. The small kitchen is a plus.

Book 2-queen studio suite. Got a lot more than i was expecting. Full fridge with ice maker, stove, dishwasher, all dishes, pots and pans...etc...etc. Awesome pool and Jacuzzi. breakfast was great. only bad mark was chemical balance was off in Jacuzzi it had an odd smell, but over all still a 5-hotel.

Wonderful place to stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks

My family and I enjoyed the hotel very much. The pool was heated, we liked the jacuzzi. Breakfast was good also over all very clean and nice hotel for the price, diffently would go back.

We stayed at the Hyatt House in Carlsbad right by the water, which was great because we could walk to the beach. The hotel room was very nice and cute for what I paid for. It had a mini kitchen and living area, which made it very convinent to store our champagne and even cook a meal...they even offer to go grocery shopping for you and leave it in your […] room if you happen not be there! I have nothing negative to say about our stay and there is an amazing steakhouse right across the street where we ate dinner at for V-day! Anyone who stays here will be satisfied...we'll definitely be coming back! Devamı

We stayed in this hotel on our trip to Legoland and I must say i was very impressed. The room was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. It has a full size fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher and the cabinets were full of cups/plates everything you would need in a kitchen. We could have made our own dinner in our room! It is 5 blocks from the ocean.It is about 2 miles from the carlsbad town.Its clean and offers a good continental breakfast and a good happy hour with free wine and beer .Continental breakfast would be so good if Parents would watch their kids instead of allowing a free for all kids zoo.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was quite nice. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. There was excellent value. The breakfast service could be improved, but it was busy. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The rooms were very nicely furnished with top quality materials. It was very convenient to have a full kitchen, along with the complimentary breakfasts and afternoon meals. We never had to eat out! It is next to the freeway, but we never heard traffic. Close to Legoland and beach! Top notch hotel!

This place is great, we have stayed here twice now within a year. So close to Legoland we use the free shuttle to save money on parking, also the free breakfast is nice, but sometime the food is not greatest, it's hard or just not very tasty, but it's free so I really can't complain. In general i was satisfied by the room, location of hotel and shuttle service. Breakfast was a little disappointing, not a lot of vegetarian options, In summary would stay here next time

The facilities and room were clean although the room was smaller than expected for a double suite. I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel during a recent family trip to Legoland after reading several positive reviews of the place. Some of the reviews raved about the hotel's proximity to Legoland and the morning breakfast. Traveling with a family and […] planning to do the "all day walk" at Legoland it was important for us to eat a good breakfast. The place posted 6:30 am - 9:00 am for breakfast. (scramble eggs, sliced ham, boxed cereals, apples or bannanas, toast, coffee, tea & milk). Every day, the place would just "ran out" of some of the items and would not provide any more even though there were plenty of people still arriving to the breakfast area. One of the ladies that seemed to be in charge of coordinating the breakfast (every day) was more concerned about sharing her personal life with one of her co-workers than tending to her job and guests. Next time, I will just stay at the Howard Johnson as they have a better breakfast selection and never "run out". They have quite comfortable rooms and facilities and costs much less. Devamı

The suite we reserved was above and beyond what we were expecting. The location is ideal and there was even a shuttle to get to Lego Land. Hotel room was fantastic, very comfortable and staff were great. Only complaint is the breakfast was subpar for these types of hotels. With a family of 5, the breakfast is key for us. First day, no large plates and only spoons available. Second day, the expiry dates on the yoguart were 5 days past. Waffles are pre-made and not overall great. Clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent. Free shuttle to Legoland and they will pick you up right out front within five minutes of calling, a great plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and especially families with young children

The hotel was well rounded and very accommodating. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, from the front desk staff, to even the janitorial staff, two dep. of whom I got to deal with during my stay, awesome service. The room was clean and everything worked.

Business trip required getting up very early on Sunday morning to make our early morning appointment. The main reason for selecting Summerfield over other nearby, less expensive options, was that we needed to have our breakfast at (5:30am). I specifically asked this question during the booking of the hotel room. Was told upon check in that on Sunday's […] breakfast not available for hours later than our need. Second big problem. We placed the request for our early a.m. wake up call and were told that they would definitely make it happen even though it would be done manually due to roll back of the clocks that night. Very clean and family friendly! The staff was excellent and very polite. When we first got there we had a mix up with our room. We were given a regular room, we thought we had reserved a two bedroom suit. Without any hassle or extra charge, we were immediately given a new room. They served a nice complementary breakfast in the morning and food and drinks […] in the evening. After a long day with kids at Lego land and Disney land it was nice to come back to an easy meal that was complimentary. Typically when a hotel has has to provide those kind of perks it's because the facility is a dump. The Hyatt was very clean and well maintained with comfortable beds. I would highly recommend if you are looking to take your family to San Diego, Lego Land or Disney land, stay here. Its centrally located for all three and with the amenities, very affordable. Devamı

The room was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. There is a train that runs right outside the hotel, however I never heard except when out at the pool. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were very convenient, as I was traveling with my two kids. There was a good variety over the five days we were there, and always plenty of food even […] at the end of the serving time. I would stay there again. There are not any retail shops nearby, grocery or Target type places. So that is something to plan around. Devamı

We had a great stay at the Hyatt while we visited Legoland this past weekend. Free parking at hotel and free shuttle to Legoland. The room was very nice, clean and enough room for our family of 4. The breakfast was okay and the pool was very nice. We were sad to leave.

We visited Carlsbad as a family of 5 - two 3 year olds and a 4 month old baby. Our suite offered a kitchen and more space, which was great. Unfortunately, there was no separation within the room where the bed and the couch/bed existed, not even a low half-wall. This was too bad, since there was no way to leave the kids in one room or the littlest kid […] in one room and still conduct any normal activities in the other. Other than this, though a great hotel. Modern, clean, nice included breakfast, friendly staff. No problem with freeway noise, though we were only about a block from I-5. Devamı

The room was perfect. Lots of space to move. The best part was the full kitchen. Traveling with a 4 year old, it's very helpful to have a full size fridge and microwave. I wish the quality of the included full breakfast was slighy better. But we were greatful it was there at all.

Hot tub wasn't working, pool not heated, bed very uncomfortable. Room was quiet even though right next to freeway. Could hear the people above our room! Not worth the money !
