The convenient location allowed us to make day trips to Toronto as well as visit family in York region. Check-in was fast and easy. The room was satisfactory and the king size bed was more comfortable then a lot of hotel offerings. Overall good experience that ended with a decent continental breakfast the next morning.

real nice for the price

Comfortable hotel with older furniture and fixtures. What it lacks in modern amenities it makes up for with a very reasonable price, continental breakfast, friendly staff and closeness to Yonge Street and city transportation. Differ from the last time we stay (Rm 321). The room 110 we checked in (around 23pm), we found bed sheet covers were dirty, some hairs there. And the chair was extremely dirty, some parts white, some parts black, End lamp also not work. We reported to the reception next morning. Covers and chair changed. End lamp did not. The rooms at this hotel were philthy! This was by far the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. There were white and brownish black stains on the carpets, weird smell throughout the hotel rooms, hallways and elevator. I had reserved the room for 2 nights and left when i saw the rooms and left my money behind to go to another hotel because conveniently […] enough for the hotel, it was a non-refundable reservation. not the cleaniest of hotels, but the price was right. I just wonder if anyone looks behind the bathroom door? I had to clean it a bit so that I didn't have to look at it.

I liked the breakfest offerings they had, better then at some of the more expensive hotels. Best bang for your buck when staying here.

It was a pretty good hotel. The room was clean and comfy which is the mowt important for me cozci only stay there to sleep.

We stayed for 3 nights, and found that the location is not nearly as close to Canada's Wonderland as the 9.7 km advertised. Nobody told us about the airport shuttle, so we wasted $75 on taxi (each way). The tub was so nasty and backed up as soon as water ran. Did not care to have our feet in that water as we showered and would never take a bath in there... […] The king size bed was so soft, and so spoon shaped we did not sleep much at all. As far as clenliness goes, we found a half drank juice in the fridge and a dusty pair of socks beside the dresser. Understandably, the cleaning ladies cant get a tub clean that doesn't drain, but a vacuum cleaner should have found the socks before we did. Devamı

For a hotel that was on the small side, they served a great breakfest. Bagals, cereal, fruit, waffles, orange&apple juice, eggs, pretty much everthing for a good breakfest. I'd stay there again next time I head over to Toronto

Nice hotel, nice location, not far from where I was headed to because of a wedding I was there for. Hotel very quiet with the exception of the air condition found in the room I was in where it makes more noise than a forklift where I was unable to sleep at night. But other than that, the service was exceptional, the continental breakfast was fine.

hotel has improved a lot. rooms very big . and staff very helpful . good place for buisness or family traveller . price is very good compared to what is offered .i would reccomend this hotel .

This room and motel was very spacious for the price and also had free parking in down town Toronto. No frills but very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The title says all. It is a dirty, run down hotel. The price was the only good thing about this hotel, and even that was not enough to make me stay. Having to deal with bedbugs was a nightmare! You have to put everything in garbage bags and have everything cleaned before you bring into your home... what a nightmare!

Nice enough rooms, reasonably priced, on main drag in Richmond Hill, decent continental breakfast. Can't complain for the price!

This Hotel is clean, quiet and relaxing. Its location let guests provide everything, nevertheless is too far to go toToronto. It takes long time in public transportation. It was the only thing that I did not like, but for someone who doesnot need to go there would be great !

It is a mystery to me why people rated this hotel so highly. Noise from the hallway was very clearly audible in the room-- I had to keep the fan on to drown out the noise. There was a gap between the curtains and the window so that there was a lot of light in my room at dawn. Checked in to this hotel and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist, everything went as planned and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for three nights and its worth every penny. Pros: - Tons of stores and authentic restaurants near by - price much better in comparison to the other places - the room was clean and the bed was very comfy - breakfast was included and was not bad at all Cons - The road the main highway is about 2 miles from the hotel, but there are about […] 10+ lights on what seems like every block. Sometimes would take you 20-25 mins. - need a car to get around especially to downtown. -as someone else said before, i too had the water issue where it turned super hot and then back to the setting i had it on. Took a lil bit off tweaking to make the water cooler so when the water would try and turn hot it wouldn't be unbearable. No biggie, but still a con. All in all i would definitely stay here again. this hotel is not a 5 star but its real close to my grilfriend and pets are ok at this hotel so that makes me happy. they still doing alot of work on this hotel i think whem they are done things will be looking to the better side of things.

Waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter, no bell, no note, no welcome. When the front clerk arrived she had indicated our room was switched to a smoking room on a smoking floor. I have Asthma and this was not acceptable! Our room was given to another guest who had decided to stay an extra night. She explained there was nothing she could […] do. I suggested that she could ask the guest to move to a smoking room, but she refused. I suggested that she find us another hotel to stay in at the cost of the Travel Lodge, she refused. We were tired from a long trip and wanted to crash so we felt that we had no choice but to take the smoking room. T he room was dirty and smelled like smoke. Our 4 year old god daughter found an empty booze bottle under the bed. When we brought this to their attention we were offered half price on our next stay and plenty of excuses. After a very difficult night breathing because of my Asthma, we managed to escape by 9 am the next morning. I was very disappointed in the service, the room cleanliness and the lack of ownership taken by the management and staff at this location. It is difficult to believe it has the Travel Lodge name. My company uses Travel Lodges as one of our main hotels when we are away from home. I will certainly not recommend them anymore if this is a sign of where this organization is heading! Devamı

It was nice and very polite help true out our visit clean room and very comfy we would come again.

It's a good palce to stay. Nothing fancy but the basics are there and the staff is pleasant. I'd stay there again.

The stay was really very good and the staff at the desk were very courteous. I beleive that it is a good economical stay place. However, there is some need to improve the breakfast standard as well as placing a safe locker facility in the room where one could safely place his/her passports and other important documents. It is what I expected for the money, fairly outdated inside and out. Stains on carpeting, outdated washroom & small old style television etc. The one major problem was the parking. The lot is fairly small and there is a dealership right beside the hotel that uses the same parking area so it fills up fairly quick. If you have a camper/trailer or any […] large vehicle, you would have to do what I did, which was park by the dumpsters behind the hotel. Smells bad, but there is room for a longer vehicle or trailer. That said, its exactly what I was looking for, somewhere to sleep and shower fairly priced and not a far drive from pretty much anything. If you arent looking for a luxury hotel I wouldnt hesistate to stay there again myself. Devamı

The hotel satisfied our needs - nothing really to complain about - loved their mattresses - seemed to have been memory foam. Had a fridge and microwave in the the room which came in handy. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would certainly recommend it to everybody. The drawback is that it is a little far from downtown...but you are still on within a […] few km's from a subway station where you can leave your car and take the sub downtown (roughly 40-45 mins - hotel - to DT). All in all a very pleasant experience - would come again and would certainly recommend to others Devamı

this hotel is a very nice hotel everytime i return to it something is new. i think the manger of this hotel is doing a real fine job. . i know i was there under the old manger and it was a dump. now alot has changed. check it out and bring your pet they love them. i always bring mine. Thanks Steve

Reasonable price, continental breakfast included make you own waffles, close to Wonderland & Buttonville, would definitely stay again & recommend to anyone!

The location of the hotel was great; and the only reason we did not check out and find another hotel. The free breakfast was good, but the tables were not washed off until the end of breakfast and every morning we ate at a dirty table. I liked that they came into the room each day and made the beds and gave us fresh towels; that was the best part. we […] had a couple mishaps, and although they were polite I found their customer service substandard. The air conditioner in the room was old and not working well, the directional vents were broken too. My shower was a bit scary one minute it was so hot the tub burned my feet the next minuite it was like ice. Made for an interesting time. They should also put up some kind on bar to get in and out of the tub as it was very slippery. The original rating was a 4 I would not give it any higher than a low 3 maybe even a 2. If I was there for anyother reason except necessity and if the location had not been perfect for our stay I would definately have demanded my money back and looked for a different hotel. I put up with what was because of its convenience, and I was frankly too tired and distraught to care at that point. Had this been for vacation, family fun, or a romantic getaway I would not have stayed even 1 night. They also do not check their disability parking very well; the bar/lounge customers used the disabled parking with no stickers. My disabled mom had to struggle from a further parking spot because of this. They really need to hone their customer service skills. Travelodge needs to step in and make the franchaise owners do repairs and updates. Devamı

There is no shuttle to motel, which everyone other motel and hotel has. When you first step in to this hotel, there is no welcoming. When going into the hotel room, its cold and dark in the winter season. When going for the heater and turning it on, all you're getting is cold air. To get the heat to initiate, you have to leave it on all night and day, […] and to leave it on your whole stay. Another thing is if you love electric shock therapy this is definitely the motel for you cause everywhere you go in that hotel, you will be shocked every time. The only thing good about this place is the breakfast, but you have to be up before 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Devamı
