Super 8 Dallas East - Dallas

I asked for a non smoking handycap room downstaris two weeks ago. The desk clerk could not speek the kings english to help. He offered a smoking rm down stairs but I'd rather eat a bad banna. So I had to take the upstairs nonsmoking room he offered. I had to tread the UPSTAIRS! by one step at a time! with all my luggage and pistola. I open the door […] and the room smelled like cigar bar on a shrimp boat. Floor was sticky to my bare feet. I put my shoes back on. TV work only on a few channels. The only thing that didn't smell was the Room Key Card. Stay some place till that place is shut down by the city health dept. I din't see any bed bugs? I think they couldn't stand the place either. We spent 1 night at the Super 8 in Dallas on our way through, and it was fine. Nothing special, but it was clean, tidy and comfortable. But it would be impossible to stay here if you didn't have a car. It's on a major highway and there didn't seem to be any public transport options available.

Dont get me wrong the room was nice and clean but the door wouldnt lock(very scary nieghborhood) and you had to use your whole body strength to flush the toliet. Our first night there about 1oclock in the morning the desk attendant called and said there was someone here to talk to me. When I told him I dont know anyone in Dallas he said Well I showed […] him the copy of your drivers lisence and he said that was the person he wante dto speak to. OMG he showed a total stranger all of my personal info. I was very upset about that. Price was good. Devamı

Hotel Personnel were very nice and helpful.

Overall it was a good place to stay I just did not like the fact the the room was paid for when I made the reservation and not at the establisment.

I'ts hard to find the location on the GPS, i choose the hotel because it was stated 12- 15 mins drive from mesquite texas, but unfortunately it is so far away. I keep on calling the hotel receptionist , to the point that i wanted to cancel my reservation because too tired in going around looking for the hotel.When we finally saw the hotel, the receotionist […] is hesistant to open the door, he wanted us to deal on the small window, and its freezing cold outside, i was so mad.he gave us a key that doesn't 212, were trying to open and it didnt called him back thru my mobile because were still outside, he said sorry its 217. I was so mad its already midnight, we tried to find the hotel for an hour. insidethe room, the lights isnt working, the TV haft of the picture tube /screen is damage so you can only see haft, no ref, no microwave, no coffeemaker.overall i hate the place, i dont like either the receptionist treating their clients. had it not been for the roaches! Room entry was damaged as if someone had kicked in the door. Bathroom door looked like it had been set on fire. Shower control came off the wall. Front desk would not provide a receipt.

This is a very nice hotel for the price. Our only complaint was that the key just randomly wouldn't open the door and we had to keep getting new key cards. The pool was nice and clean. Definately would stay there again. Good price.

the people running the place didn't seem to know what was going on.
