My daughter & I drove down from Chicago Ill for a funeral. Hotel 8 was conviently located, however; room had not been vacuumed fawcets leaked all over everything in bathroom. I was rather disappointed but too exhausted to voice any complaints. If I ever return, I will pay a bit more money & stay elsewhere. Thanks

Just a quick weekend trip to Brunswick. Spent very little time in the hotel, but it served our needs nicely.

I wasn't in the room for 60 seconds when a cockroach appeared on my pants leg as I was adjusting the air conditioning. I stayed two days anyway and didn't see any others. If not for the bug incident, the room was comfortable. You get what you pay for, including a bonus...if you happen to be an entomologist.

The beds are terrible if you stay more than one night. the maid do NOT change the sheets when they clean the room! i had to ask for clean sheets and then they even had cigarette holes burned into them! the pool looked foggy and unclean. the cable went out while there. the only highlight to my stay is that the AC worked great and i wasnt there much!

Completely adequate for an overnight stay.

The motel was just what we needed, close to Jekyll island, swimming pool the kids love, and their breakfast was great and the price was nice and cheap. Would recommend for sure.

The hotel was adequate, however it is obvious that this is a low budget operation. The pillows were tiny and the breakfast was non-existent. The room was clean enough to sleep in but the furnishing such as the bed really could use a update, could feel the springs, etc. AC worked great. We feel we could have done better for the money.

The room was big enough but it was kinda blah. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom smelled of urine. Although the website said check in at 2 our rooms weren't available until after 3. When I told the owner this she had a nonchalant attitude.

Clean, confortable, convenient, would stay there again.

We made a reservation in advance for a room and on the day of arrival, called the hotel staff to mark our file for a late arrival, estimating our arrival at midnight. We showed up at 11:55 p.m. and the hotel staff told us they had no room for us! After driving 600 miles and arriving exhausted, we had to wait around for another hour resolving the room […] issue. The worst part was that the staff on duty gave us room keys for 2 different rooms, before discovering that they had no room for us. While I was getting luggage out of the truck, my wife and kids were trying the keys in a room door that was occupied with other guests sleeping! This compromised everyone's safety! Fortunately, the same staff member couldn't program the keys correctly, so we didn't actually enter another guest's room. Finally, the manager, Mr. Patel and his wife showed up. They eventually cleaned another room so that we could sleep. However, our kid's had to wait an hour before being able to sleep. Mr. Patel and his wife, Mrs. Patel did nothing to compensate us for the incompetence of their staff or the fact that they placed my family in a very dangerous situation. We asked for a refund, but Mrs. Patel refused, even as she admitted that her staff screwed up. No customer service whatsoever! Use this hotel at your own risk! Devamı

Rooms were clean and neat. Nice little pool and the location was great for what I needed.

Considering that this line of motels are geared more toward economy than luxury, I was statisfied with my stay. The location is great if you are planning to spend time at Jekyll Island. Plus, its position is outside of Brunswick traffic, which is a boon if you like to avoid that kind of thing.

This hotel was convenient to I-95, the beach, gas and food. The tub was a little tall, if you have medical problems you may want to ask if they have handicapped accessible rooms. The staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating. I will definitely stay there again.

Considering the price of the room it was worth it. Clean, comfortable, and good air-conditioning. The only thing was the bathroom was almost the size of the room. Should've made the bathroom smaller and the room bigger.
