Carlsbad Super 8 Motel - Carlsbad

The hotel was fine. My one complaint was a lack of options for the continental breakfast. But it's hard to complain too much about something that's complementary. For the price, the hotel was a bargain.

This hotel was fairly close to Carlsbad Caverns which is what we wanted. The furniture was on poor shape and chair stained, the tub could have been cleaned better, but the beds were fairly comfortable (good pillows too) which can make all the difference in the world. i was disappointed to find no fruit at breakfast. Hotel smelled my eyes and nose burned for hours from the smell . I awoke at 3 am and went out side to escape the smell and the skunk was a welcome relief. I would of slept in my car if the property was not surrounded my razor wire. The room was run down, the towels were so thin and breakfast was just served in a bedroom.

This hotel should be looked as really temporary accomodation. Positives on it are that it's pretty close to the caverns. Also the staff were friendly. The manager even informed my wife and i about the bat sightings that night we didn't know about. We went and saw it and had a good time. Water also went out that evening but you could see them outside […] with the city's water dept actively rectifying the situation. Negatives on it , the coffee and orange juice taste like street water. Good bagels, horrible drinks. Also the third floor, the non smoking floor smells like smoke. It's also a pretty old building struggling to be maintained. The blankets were also suspect. Some of the locals were also on the scary side. Only reason i'm recommending it is that's it'll do in a pinch for someone going to carlsbad without needing to spend more than a night Devamı

The motel had a funky smell the hall ways included. Our room smelled like a butt. It was a good thing we were so tired from our driving that we just passed out with our nose pluggs on.

The staff was extremely nice. The room had a slight odor, but I think it was because the hotel is older. The room was clean. It could use a remodel. However, the hotel is very convenient to the caverns which made the stay a lot better. And for the price and the amount of time you are actually in the room, this is a good deal.

There is nothing fancy or wonderful about the Super 8. The good thing is that it was on the south side of town and we were a little closer to the caverns. This is an older hotel with a good price so if you are just passing through and need a cheap bed this is your hotel.

For a very reasonable dollar amount, this hotel is one of the best. The pool is great and you have internet service without having to take your personal lap top with you. Not far from Carlsbad Caverns and near the town of Carlsbad. Good distances to everything.

This motel was one of the closest to the caverns. There was no restaurant within a mile which I believe was the only drawback. The motel was clean, breakfast adequate. I would recommend the motel to anyone.

Thr rooms were uncomfortable and had bed bugs!!!! the hotel staff was very rude and our airconditioner in the room also did not work. Not good for 100 degree weather!! HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!!!!

We were traveling to see Carlsbad Caverns, and had not been there before. The town is about 6 miles long, and the Super 8 turned out to be at the end of town closest to the 21-mile drive out of town to get to the caverns. The room furniture was very worn, but functional. The room and bed were comfortable.

Continental breakfast consisted of waffels, dry cereal, and bagels. We got alot of room noise from those above us, so next time I'll request an upstairs room.

Room was not very clean, everything was very run-down and smelled bad. Breakfast ran out by 8:30. Staff was not very friendly. We stayed at a brand new Hyatt in Bellevue, WA only a week before for less! I can't believe how much they charge for a terrible room. NEVER staying again.

My wife and I stayed at this motel for three days at the end of August this year. On our first day back at home, we both began to show signs of scabies, which are mites that burrow under your skin and release toxins that cause red and itching bumps. They more commonly referred to as bedbugs, and they are passed from person to person easily through sharing […] of clothing and bed linens. In other words, this hotel is inexcusably unclean when it comes to sanitizing sheets and mattresses. We went to the doctor on our second day home, and his first question to us was whether we had stayed in any 'questionable' motels recently. It no longer seems a coincidence that this motel has the cheapest rates in Carlsbad. Scabies is greatly irritating for anyone, but it is most threatening to young children and the elderly. Please do your family a favor by paying a little extra to stay at a different hotel. Devamı

3 floors, no elevator. Just a decent place to sleep.

Basic hotel and services. No problems but no frills either. Continental breakfast was very limited.

Prior to my trip I had looked up several different reviews on this hotel, some good and some bad. Overall it was a very nice hotel with very clean rooms, friendly desk service and a wonderful location. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my stay. But I felt that the room could had been a little cleaner. When looking just below the surface you could see a bottle cap behind the refrigerator, and alot of dust. The bathrooms were clean, but the towel bar broke. The staff were very friendly and attentive; and overall I would stay there again.

Nice place to stay for price, breakfast in morning was weak however, nice rooms, well kept, pool was not operating at time.

L'hotel dista circa 20 minuti dalle Carlsbad Caverns (l'unica attrattiva del luogo visto che la città di Carlsbad non è propriamente bella...) e ha ottimi prezzi.
