OKAY So next Time, I will go with Motel 6, Overall my stay was not too bad BUT !!! 1.The Bottom Sheet on my bed kept coming off, 2. The first time I took a shower alot of the water ended up on the floor which I had to soak up with my towels, 3.The second night after coming back from running around, I had to go back to the office to get my room key reactivated […] 4. NO working vending machines. Which forced me to have to run down to the nearest convience store, Just down the street. Just alot of little things. The Staff were friendly enough though. BUT still for a better and more comfortable stay for the same price I would have been more happier at Motel 6. Devamı

Not the nicest hotel, it's older & more run down. The room was ok, by far could be improved/updated. Some cons... The floor turned our feet black so we kept our flip flops or socks on the whole time. Found a few roaches in the room. Wasn't so bad when the hubby was there to kill them. The pool is disgusting & the jacuzzi looks more like a garbage can […] since it's broken. The maids sucked, hardly ever let them in the room because all they did was empty the trash, make the bed & give new towels. Pros.. It's only a few minutes away from the base. cold ac, good internet connection, mini fridge & microwave, CHEAP! The owner/manager was very nice & helpful. He made our stay more enjoyable. Overall it was worth it for us. Don't expect anything fancy here though! Devamı

This is a cheap hotel, so don't expect more than the basics. The room was clean, but the sheets were very worn from too many washes. It is fine if you are on a budget.

I was worried after reading reviews, but overall not bad for the price. Clerk was friendly and worked with me on canceling one night stay after booking 2 nights. Not no Hilton, but better than sleeping other places I have stayed.

You get what you pay for is right. At first appearance the room looks clean, and smells clean, but don't look at the baseboards, tiles in the bathroom or corners. For having a small pool, you would think it would be easy to keep it clean. The water in the pool was muggy. The motel needs a major overhaul on detailed cleaning. Nice people, very courteous. Close to Angelo State. Starting to look run down!

Our room was a disaster from the start. Our lamps didn't work, our room was not clean, our bathtub leaked and when we woke up in the morning, we found LARGE bugs in our room. We called the manager about the insects. He came with a can of raid, told us that they were water bugs so they were harmless and there was nothing he could do. He sprayed them […] with the raid to kill them and then walked out without even picking them up. When we checked out, the manager apologized for the bugs but made numerous excuses about previous guests not taking care of the room and leaving garbage. Ultimately, he refunded all of our money. After checking in, walked into the room and noticed a funk to the room I couldn't quite place..definitely not pleasant though. After returning to the car to grab more luggage, heard my girlfriend shreik and turned around to see her running out of the room. There were roaches in the bathroom. Went back to the front desk (located in a small building across […] the parking lot) and the clerk was polite and accommodating and quickly assigned us a new room on the second floor. Went upstairs and checked the bathroom- no roaches. Whew. But as I walked to the window I noticed several moths fluttering around on the inside of the glass and upon close inspection noticed that the window had separated from the wall. There was a 1/8" inch crack that ran 3 feet around the window- great...Turned the a/c unit on and noticed another odd stench which turned out to be two chunks of rotten lime that someone had shoved into the vents. Extremely long wait at check-in. Dilapidated hotel that I would not wish to ever stay again.

Only complients I have was the clerk who checked us in was rude. And the pillows were flat, so bring your own.

The personnel at the front desk were nice, but the room was subpar. There was a tear in the wall above the bed, like someone torn a picture or something down, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom towel were stained, one washcloth looked like it had been used as a cleaning rag! I will NOT recommend the hotel to anyone!

One issue I had right away was that this hotel was very difficult to find, but that was more do to the rather confusing layout of the town and directions that I got, plus the fact that I came in at night. One thing I noticed in the other reviews was how nice the people were, but they must have changed staff or something, or maybe these exceedingly friendly […] people were off this weekend. The people were not overtly rude or anything, just not as friendly as I might have hoped. The "hot breakfast" left a lot to be desired, and being a woman traveling alone I was rather paranoid with having an outdoor entry point and a room on the backside of the facility. That being said... Now, given that the decor is rather 1970s-ish and that it is a cheap hotel, it was very clean. Linens all freshly laundered, plenty of towels and washcloths, and they even did the little decorative thing with a folded towel and the complimentary shampoos/soaps (another pleasant surprise). They had basic cable TV and DSL (though I had to go buy a cord at Wal-Mart), both better than I expected. Overall, it's not glamourous, but if you're looking for quality on the cheap, this is the place to go. Devamı

Room was clean and staff were nice.

It was a little noisy, but all in all it was a very comfortable room.

Granted the weather was exceptionally hot but the air conditioning system was turned off when we checked-in and even after a whole night on full blast(which made it impossible to sleep since the roar was deafening), the room never really cooled down. The swimming pool, which could have provided respite, was so unkept(dirty papers, pigeons feathers, […] sticky floors) that we didn't dare use it. No help from the hotel manager as to local restaurants and/or directions either. Maybe this was the justification for having a GPS system !! Devamı

Though I think the building is older it is in good shape. We had a slow running toilet that was fixed within 10 minutes of my call. Good breakfast selection. Very friendly staff.

Older hotel but nice and clean. Friendly staff. I told them I would be back.

If your looking for an affordable room this is the place.

Not only is this property about as centrally located as one can imagine, I wanted to say a few words about the personnel. AWESOME and friendly folks work here and I can't stress enough how much these folks went out of their way to care for their guests. A Big for-instance....I slept through a wake-up call and the guys at the first desk came to the room […] to wake me. When I slept through that as well, they contacted my cohort in the next room to report my lack of response. They relaxed when told I could sleep through a tornado, but I can't help but marvel at how concerned these folks were about one of their guests. The place is clean, and the value is better than I've seen in a long time. And, the employees are the type people you want to take with you as you travel from town to town. If only every hotel/motel could have folks like these. AWESOME!!! Devamı
