Super 8 New Orleans - New Orleans

The service and cleanliness of the hotel was great! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Hotel is in great condition. Downside, is it is not in the best-looking neighborhood. There is a run-down hotel right next to it :( But I felt very safe there and would recommend this place to others.

A decent option for a cheap place to stay in NOLA area. This is a budget hotel (lots of caulking, sloping floors, etc.). Convenient to NOLA if you have transportation, and you are not traveling at rush hour. Nice staff, clean room, fairly quiet for being close to traffic. While residing at the Motel, my truck was sabotaged with a flat tire. No assistance was provided by Motel staff. I had to walk a distance and retrive help from a local tire shop who failed to find anything wrong with the flat tire. Apparently someone let the air out of my truck tire overnight. No sufficient security.

The staff was friendly and helpful; parking was free, we even left our car doing the cruise; close to food places and we had night security.

The staff were quite friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was plentiful. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. Easy to highway and to downtown. On-site parking was tight and although lit, I would not walk alone too late at night. The surrounding area is primarily commercial. Good deal for a 2-3 day quick stay.

The hotel was very nice and very clean. The staff was very nice, polite, and Helpful. The area the hotel is in is not that great. I would not want my wife to stay their by herself. It also is also a easy 10-15 min. to Burban st. Overall The hotel served its purpose and was nicer and cleaner than our expectasions for the price.

It was clean, had security at night walking the grounds, staff was great. Room was clean and tidy. For the rate a great deal. Not close to airport at all, a $45 cab ride. Nothing to do or eat by hotel and not in a great part of town, but a deal for 1 nights stay.

Very Clean, friendly, & helpful. Shuttle service to ports and airports. Convenient.

The front desk staff at this hotel was awesome. They were very friendly and helpful. I had a group of 13 to stay because we were going on a cruise, they offered free parking and contacted a shuttle to transport us to the terminal. Everything worked out perfectly. Shout outs to the front desk staff. Thanks!

This location was really easy to get to off the highway. We took a cab to the French Quarter and the Cruise Terminal. We were also fortunate to receive free covered parking in the hotel's lot for the week of our cruise.

This is a nice 2 star hotel which did not charge to leave our car in covered parking for a week while we cruised.

This super 8 really surprised me, because most of the super 8's I stay in are complete dumps. The room had a good smell to it; it was not damp feeling at all and was very clean. The water pressure was fantastic. From the hotel to Bourbon St. is about a $25 cab ride, so the location was not ideal. Also, the breakfast was awesome. This hotel staff among the most friendly of any I have been too. We were leaving on a cruise from N.O. and they offered free covered parking for a week and had a taxi take us there.

I stayed at this location for 3 nights. Overall an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was decent, saved me a couple of bucks, room was pretty clean. Only complaints, curtains didn't close all the way and when the a/c turned on it made it worse so passing people could see into your room. The pillows were hard as rocks. Neighborhood looks rundown but they […] lock you car in at night (if you get in before 11) and we had no problems. Overall pretty nice for the price, I was expecting worse Devamı

My stay at this hotel was a very satisfying one. No loud neighbors, no bugs, just 10-12 miles from French Quarter which didn't take long driving, great hotel staff, and very comfortable beds. So overall, I would stay here again as long as it stays in it's current shape.

My wife and I had a great vaction. The hotel was very nice and the staff there was great. Everyone was very friendly and personable. They went above and beyond. Thank you very much for making our stay there enjoyable.

For the price, this was a good pick for a quick 2 day overnight. The place could use a good overhaul, but for the price, I couldn't ask for more. Staff was friendly and I liked the free covered parking that was monitored by camera. Also, I was a security guard once or twice which is always nice. Not bad for a quick stay.

The hotel is an older hotel but the rooms were clean and neat. The location was not ideal but we had no trouble. The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgble about the area. I would stay there again.

This hotel was good value for money, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and spacious, we even had a fridge freezer! Location-wise it's not ideal BUT there is a number 94 bus which stops opposite the hotel which takes you downtown. The bus only costs $3 a day, for that you can get the 94 bus to Canal Street, then its about […] a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter or you can get on a Streetcar using the same ticket. If you're on a strict budget you can get a Jefferson Transit bus E-2 from the airport for $1.50, then connect on to the RTA Toulane bus 39 down to Canal Street, then connect to the 94 totaling your cost from the airport to the hotel at $3! When you get the 94 bus from the hotel you are best to get off at The Family Dollar at Canal Street, that is the closest stop to the French Quarter. You do pass another Fam,ily Dollar however, so don't get off too early, it's about a 20 minute journey. Look up the RTA online and get the 94 timetable if you want to plan ahead. Kenneth at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Upon learning that it was our first trip to New Orleans, he gave up a map and highlighted several things we should see, along with pointing out low price parking areas and which trolley to take. Overall we quite enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the only concern I would mention is the small area […] allotted for eating the breakfast offered, with few tables and a crowded access to the actual serving area. For the time of year and short notice I felt this hotel served it's purpose. Dated and no frills but staff was nice, well lighted parking, and large, clean room and bathroom.

The people @ the motel were nice but they gave us a room without a view- the windows were covered in black paper.. I did not ask for change of room because it was a short visit but the next day I felt disoriented and panic. DO NOT GET ROOM 211!!!

Neighborhood a little sketchy and getting off the interstate and having to do a u-turn to get into the parking lot was a little awkward. A very comfortable room though and nice people behind the desk. They even let us check in a little early when we arrived ahead of time.

The room was very clean and tidy, the A/C worked fine and did not smell and the staff was incredible! This hotel is in a rather industrial area, but it's quiet at night and safe. They have the nicest security person, he's a native and full of great local info. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. My wireless internet didn't work in my room, […] but I was there to have fun anyway. This Super 8 is a great value, is a convenient location, the area is safe, staff is outstanding, and is perfect for a place to rest as you spend your money on the fun to be had in the Big Easy! We were 10 minutes from the French Quarter, the room was clean, the AC was LOUD!! and the thermostat didn't work (hot or cold - no comfortable middle), other guests were extremely LOUD. My husband kept saying "It's only for one night" Thank God!! Never again.

This Super 8 is very clean and has a very friendly staff. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty shady but it has great access to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The rooms themselves are kind of dingy and outdated, pretty much what you expect from a budget hotel like Super 8. All in all it was a great stay and definitely worth the price!

We booked this hotel last minute not realizing all other hotels in NO would be booked for a large convention when we came into town. I will say this - the parking lot seemed pretty secure. The other gate (there were 2) closed, so there was only 1 entrance to the lot at night, and we actually saw a guard posted up in there. Other than that, the neighborhood […] was shady, we had to drive more than ten minutes to get anywhere cool in New Orleans, and the rooms were not very clean. We didn't eat it, but we noted that the included breakfast was just cereal and a few pastries. It was fine, just a place for us to sleep a night, but it is truly of motel quality. Devamı

Well for starters we walked into a hot room that smelled awful. The sheets and blankets has stains on them. It also had one of the smallest bathrooms I have ever seen in my life.

I didn't expect a 5-star hotel for the money but did have issues with the place. We reserved two rooms yet had to wait almost three hours to get the second room because we didn't want to be on separate floors. Probably wouldn't have got it then but went down the front desk because they didn't call us. We were then given the option of two rooms and took […] the one that didn't smell. Did have the ceiling above the toilet drip water on me the first morning so don't know if the pipes are leaking or what? Also, found it strange that we had to wait so long for our second room when there were clearly many open rooms within the hotel. The hotel is not in the best part of NOLA, just off I-10 but I knew that going in. Overall, the hotel was okay but having the problem with the second room at the beginning and their lack of attention to getting the matter solved left a bad taste. Devamı

Although situated in a rather unglamourous area the hotel was very good. It was easy to get to and only a 10 minute drive into the city centre outside of rush hour. Helpful and friendly staff and excellent housekeeping service.

This hotel is in an awful neighborhood. My family canceled our reservation because we didn't feel safe in leaving our car in the parking lot.

Easy on/off the highway. Easy to get to the French Quarter. Economical. Charming, helpful staff. What's not to like? Well, maybe the neighborhood is not for strolling in, but you came for the other sites, so not a problem. I'd stay here again.

The service was unexpectedly pleasant at the Super 8. The staff was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. We did not mind the travel to the French Quarters. We will be staying at this hotel on our next visit. Thumbs up
