SUPER 8 WAVERLY - Waverly

Typical convenient Super 8 motel. Adequate amenities. Thin but serviceable towels. Reasonable rates.

Comfortable enough, though it took awhile to get extra pillows. Hotel was busy, but it seemed they didn't have any to give out, we got 1. Having a micro and frig were nice.

We were there for a wrestling tournament. I had only gotten my room for one night for some reason. I booked another room they had open after a cancellation. Check in time is supposed to be 3:00. The staff was so wonderful they worked together to get the room I was moving into clean before we had to leave to go to the tournament that day. So we were […] able to have a room to come back to after wrestling and we did not have to wait and then move all our stuff back to the car and then back into the new room. From the minute I checked in until I checked out,all employees were GREAT! Whatever and whenever I needed,anything, they got for me right away. Such good attitudes.

Awsome stay, the only complaint I havve about the hotel was the selection of items at their breakfast bar, there were no pastries of any sort, the bagels seeemed a bit stale. Other than that the hotel was a great place to stay, it will be my first choice if I am ever in the area again. Very reasonable in cost as well

We stopped here overnight on our way to the University of Iowa. Great place to stop. Reasonably priced

This was the perfect place to stay for one night when we came to see Christmas at Wartburg. Absolutely fit the bill!

I had a very comfortable room and a nice stay overall. Breakfast in the morning was good, but I would suggest offering a fruit option along with the other offerings. Overall a very nice place to stay with a very friendly staff.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The bed was a little softer than my liking, but that's livable for an night. What is great about this hotel is the location. It is next door to a 24 Hour Hy-Vee, and is separated by only a large parking lot from a 24 Hour McDonalds. Both of these options come in handy for the weary traveler. What is nice, […] for those who partake in the habit, is that this hotel offers smoking rooms. I don't smoke like a chimeney, but it's nice not having to step outside and freeze just to have a couple smokes over the 10-12 hour duration that I usually occupy a room. That rate was fitting, lower than the other option in Waverly at the time - and we had not one complaint. They even had some breakfast options in the morning, which seems to be disappearing these days. Thanks for a great stay! Devamı

Pretty basic hotel. Would have been nice to have fruit offered to go with breakfast, all they had was pastries and breads. Woken up early in the morning because of the upstairs room flushing their toilet, pipes shook really loud and woke up everyone very abruptly, but this didn't happen the next morning. A bit over priced for Waverly Iowa but otherwise satisfactory.

Nice hotel, nice price.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Pricing was good. Not many choices in this town. Smelled old and kinda funky. Front desk girl was pleasant. Bathrooms way small. AC worked great.

Where do you want to go at the end of a long, tiring workday but home... home to a clean house, a friendly face, a long hot shower, the remote control, and a familiar bed. I certainly found all of those at the Waverly Super 8! The staff was very personable and welcoming, the room extremely clean, and I had no problems at all in falling asleep! There's […] even " quiet time" in the evening that allows guests the reward of not hearing children use the halls as a speedway, or T.V.s with volumes that break the sound barrier! The hotel was OK. The 2nd night we were there, the toilet wouldn't stop running. The clerk came in but couldn't fix it. It ran all night. We reported to all we saw. Breakfast was so-so. Cold cereal, bagels, toast, etc. Hy-Vee is very close so a good meal is near.
