The light switch was not functional, the bathroom smelled horrible, the bedding was old and falling apart and didn't smell washed, there was a wet spot on the floor next to the bed (that I stepped in). Disgusting hotel- don't waste your money at this hotel bath tub backed up sink backed up stains on the carpet.

When we came in the desk clerk was on the phone (not a personal call) but never once made eye contact or acknowledged our presence(standing 3 feet away across the counter). This would not normally bother me if the call was shortened, but it went on over 5 minutes.

Nothing awful about the hotel. Smelled a little like smoke. they do not have refrigerators in every room like they say. You need to ask for one when you get there. Shower curtain torn and blankets well worn. Not good attention to these kind of details. Breakfast was not exciting cold cereal, plain bagels and mini muffins. No fruit or yogurt.. Based no the price I was expecting the worst but I don't mind basic accommodations for overnight layovers, some pros, free shuttle service to and fro The airport, helpful staff, big room, clean bathrooms some cons, most reviews were not exaggerating on the pillows they were thin and old, but easy solution, ask for more pillows it's free, downtown Detroit […] is 20 miles away and transportation is a pain, it takes you over an hour by bus not including the wait for the bus to arrive which may take up to 20mins. I like this hotel but my reason was just to have a place to stay and shower after 24 hours of travel and connecting flights, I arrived 7am and though Check in starts at 3 they gave me a room, just make sure they don't charge you $25 for early check in, mine was free. Good room, great price, perfect location. Mo complaints at all.

The hotel was very conveinent for flying out of Detroit metro. Nice to have the Wendys next door. The pillows and the blankets on the beds need to be upgraded. They are out dated. Everything was good. Customer service at the Hotel and the trip to the airport.

Stay away... yikes. First time I stayed I ended up in the room for the disabled since it was the only room left. It was fine, new-ish, clean-ish. So I stayed a second night later on before flying out. GROSS, AWFUL, DIRTY. Everything in the room was dirty. It's directly under the runway so planes take off right over your room. It's loud, dirty and on the third floor the wifi didn't work. Pay the extra $20 to stay somewhere else, you'll be glad you did. I had to stay for a week on business. Not once did my room get cleaned - the trash was overflowing by the time I checked out. The carpet in my room was disgusting. I did get a fridge (which I had to pay $5 a day for), and it promptly froze everything I was trying to keep. The towels were so stained and over-used that I went out and bought my own bath […] sheet for the last couple of days of my stay. Wifi was ok. TV channel selection was poor. Had trouble with the key opening the door.Had to try at least five times before it would actually work. Room was not very clean.Good thing I brought Lysol Wipes to wipe everything down myself. Pillows were way to soft and small if they were even real pillows.Brought my own pillows also.Good thing. Convienant to have the fridge and microwave. For the price, it was a good place to stay for one night while awaiting a early morning flight. Rather noisy as it sits on the flight path of the Detroit airport. Rooms were average for Motel 8. Consistant quality for the price.

the price is very affordable, but my room door did not work properly at all i had to swipe the card five times before it would open for me and that was a huge innconvience

Fair price for hotel, shuttle to and from airport, simple accommodations, nothing luxurious, but adequate. A decent place to stay that is close to the airport and offers a complementary hotel airport shuttle service.

I found this Hotel to be very clean, and comfortable. I took Bus Route 125 to Southgate Mall, and Downtown Detroit. And took 125 Fort St.- North Terminal. Back to the Hotel; Not 125 Fort - Mcnamara. (this other one takes you to the Airport). I loved everything except the lack of outgoing phone service. I wish I could have used a payphone inside, instead […] of the Desk Counter one. Airport location, property under flight path of runway 21 left. Also surrounded by extended parking lot. Property is decent, about what you'd expect for a Super 8 built in the 1970s. Front desk staff nice. Wendy's next door. For car renters, cheaper gas about 2 miles south of property on Middlebelt Rd.

This Hotel is located 10 minutes drive from Metro airport. It is convenient for price wise also, I really enjoyed for staying in this hotel

The inside of the hotel was great - nicely upgraded. But the nighborhood was a little scary. I booked here because of the price and because it looked like a nice hotel. I'd go here again, as long as I have a car to drive out of the area where there are some decent restaurants I feel safe eating at. Close to airport, convenience and value.

This hotel offers good value for the price. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked (not always the case at some hotels). It was further away from my destination than I would have preferred, but for the price I couldn't beat it.

There is supposed to be a 24 hr shuttle to and from the airport.. after waiting (along with 9 other) for an hours the shuttle finally showed up.. (and we had all called the motel prior).. then I was supposed to be in a non smoking room.. (which it seemed to have no smoke smell). but there were numerous burn holes in the bedspread, sheets,, and blanket.. […] and the room had not been swept or dusted in a while.. I put finger prints on the top of the TV.. and there were pills and gunk on the floor.. rooms are in need of a thorough cleaning. not even a hair dryer.. in the hair dryer holder.. .. Devamı

My room at Super 8 was not clean. The carpet had brown stains and the mattress was dirty. My husband kept coughing and sneezing due to the mold in the room. However, the bathroom was clean. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The price is what we were looking for for our trip to the D. Got to save a bit and do a few extra things in Detroit. It was a 15 drive to the Henry Ford, east on I94 then north on M39. go to see the Uniroyal Giant Tire multiple times, my son enjoyed that. we parallel to the smaller"executive" airport. The USA Park was right next to the motel, incase […] you are to leave your car for a flight. Also motel is right near the rental car lots., further away but, you can see the action in the lot from the motel. Lots of fast food around, Wendy's right next door. If you are not a fan of a "motel" this place is not for you. If you don;t care and just want a place to crash, than this will fit your bill. family run, small breakfast, coffee, mini bagals, muffins cereal. from 6-9. This was the dirtiest most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The room stunk, the box springs were dirty and disgusting. There were stains on the wall rite above the head board like somebody spit something on the wall and it started to run down. Even the shower curtain was moldy. The front desk lady the next morning was rude and tried to cut me off […] when i complained. And also the front entry way was dirty( they need to invest in a broom). The complimentary breakfast was pathetic. The coffee was terrible, the muffins were dry and the beagles were bite size and almost got lost in the toaster. Asked for a non smoking room but was provided a smoking room. AC was noisy... Carpet stinks in the hallway. You get what you pay

I'm not a picky person but this place was just BAD. The bathroom wasn't cleaned at all and overall was just a filthy appearance. For an extra $10-20 you can have a MUCH nicer, close to airport stay. Arab towel-heads at the counter. If I want to see those types I'll go to Iraq!!

Booked the room online. Called about getting some towels and were told to come to front desk. We were given a card for another room nearby and told to get our own towels and soap. To get shampoo you have to come to front desk to pick up. Breakfast is included. It consists of coffee which I don't drink. Juice machine broken and of course dessert is the […] no apology. Never go to this motel. worst customer service and needs lots of maintenance . Local phone wasn't worked . I don't know what kind motel was that.

Easily, in both the US & Europe, one of the worst stays regardless of cost. Dirty, shabby, room, uncomfortable bed, old & broken furniture, see-through bedsheets, no window screens, inadaquate complimentary "breakfast" and many dead insects. Thoroughly unpleasant over all. Rated 2 Stars by Hotels.com, no stars or less by me.

Just outside airport. Fast food next door. Had a handicap unit w/roll in/out shower w/seat. Shuttle available 24 hrs for service to DTW. Car rental area close. Wakeup calls on time.

the sheets in my room were dirty - i was too tired to deal. but it totally freaked me out. towels were not totally white either. echk! at that point i just tried to not notice anything else.

We stayed one night at the Super 8. It was some 8 miles from the convention center. The hotel was much easier to find than the convention center where our conference was held. It was about 15 minutes travel from the hotel to the convention site. There was food available at the near by fast food places...Wendy's and McDonald's. Dud Wendy's for supper […] and McDonald's for breakfast. Had good service at both. Devamı

We needed a place to stay the night before our morning flight . The rooms accomodated each party properly. The shuttle service was good on departure and also very quick on our return back to the motel when our flight returned. They have a very good system set up with the shuttle service. We where very pleased with our stay for the purpose and need.
