Novotel Manchester Centre - Manchester

We stayed one night at this hotel. Nice place to stay. The room was very clean, the staff very helpful, excellent breakfast.

Room on the small side for family of 4.

Stayed 2 nights Room good size , Housekeeping poor, bathroom dirty and room attendant forgot to leave towel/ tea/milk etc Hsk spvr should check.had to get up at 4am so had to call on night porter for these items.he looked as though i had woken him up.Night mgr nice guy but annoyed that he said a taxi to airport would be £18 to £20 depending on who you […] got,,....called his mate up, took 20 mins to arrive as he had been woken up by night mgr he then charged us £25!!!!not happy:( the hotel overall is ok but lacks comfort in bar area very bland.Went out to eat, China town 2 mins walk. Hotel was good and the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. In short it was all pretty much as expected. An Ice Bucket would have been helpful to collect ice from the dispenser. No real complaints. Generally good value for money if rooms are at discounted rates. Mini-bar prices are, as expected, extortionate. Parking on street poor but the […] adjacent underground Car Parks was ok well lit and clean though rather pricey you do get a discount card from reception. Devamı

Hotel was clean, new and bright. Rooms were nice, quite simple but had everything necessary. Location was good for city centre. Would stay there again.

the hotel is excellent in service and very civil customer service personnels and it is the second time am staying in the hotel with my family. it is also our second time in manchester, we like it at the novotel and will continue to patronize the hotel.

Typical Novotel; looks recently built or renovated and very fresh; restaurant was closed on Sunday night so ate in bar; food was typical bar fare and fresh & tasty. Breakfast the usual Novotel buffet with plenty of fresh hot and cold dishes

Fantastic hotel, reception staff amazing (and not bad looking too !!) rooms the best in Manchester highly recommended !!!

The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very clean and tidy. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Very convenient location. No great views from your hotel room. Bed very comfortable. Great for a weekend stay. Only 3 metrolink stops from Manchester Picadilly station

Honestly cannot say enough good about the hotel. From the moment one emerges from the car park into the beautiful cobbled courtyard entrance through the lobby to the bedroom this hotel automatically welcomes the guest. The architecture in the area, the picadilly tramline to the proximity to China town and the culinary delights of restaurant Yang sing […] adjacent to the hotel, the proliferation of fine coffee shops and for myself skateboarding to the beautiful squares and back was a pleasure early morning and evening. Breakfast time was savoured by our two children and ourselves. Croissants were particularly delicious but the variety was outstanding from the traditional breakfast to continental style bookended by the tranquil courtyard outside the breakfast area. We will definitely be back and have recently booked the Novotel in Glasgow for our next Irish dancing trip at the Scottish nationals. Spacious very comfortable and quiet bedrooms with top class beds and sofa bed. Cannot say enough. Felt like we were in France. Top marks Novotel Manchester centre. Devamı

I have stayed at this hotel before because of its central location and proximity to the station (about a 10 minute walk). Pleasantly surprised to find it has had a makeover since my last stay a few years ago. The foyer and dining area are bright and modern. The room I had was a revelation. It was spacious with room for a queen bed, sofa and desk. It […] had a safe and mini bar along with the expected tea & coffee facilities. The bathroom was amazing with designer sink and bath with proper 'rainshower' shower and another shower head on a flexible tube. There was no dirty shower curtain; instead a modern bath screen. The breakfast, included in my price, was better than average with a real pot of tea rather than the increasingly common hot drinks dispenser. Overall very impressive for what I wanted - a comfortable single night's stay - and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend and use again. Devamı

The hotel was excellent value for money: Clean, comfortable and convenient. The design of the bedroom and bathroom was very clever and attractive. Unfortunately the member of staff on duty overnight was not able to prepare any food (despite there being a 24hr menu) since he 'had only worked there for 2 weeks and hadn't had any kitchen training'. So, […] we were forced to make a midnight trip to McDonalds, which was not ideal. Good location. Breakfast (prepaid) is very much worth it. Fast checkin and checkout. Skype is throttled (considered similar to a video streaming or bit-torrent application) which was a disaster for me and my family. I didn't pay internet charges as Orange France was a WiFi partner.

very clean,nice hotel.

The first thing that impressed me was the free internet service and printing that the hotel offered - we had not printed our return journey boarding passes and they did it for us so we didn't have to walk for miles trying to find an internet cafe. It's such a great service. Unfortunately, the biggest turn off for me was that there was no air-conditioning […] in the rooms and the heat in the room during the night was stifling (they made no apology for this at check-out and we weren't the only guests to complain!) Also, when we sat on our bed it almost folded in two. To me, it was a glorified put-up bed and it was not what I expected for the price I paid. Their food is extremely expensive and they add extra room service charges no matter how much you spend. I've been to other hotels who only charge for tray service if it's less than a certain amount. Anyway overall, for a one night stay it was convenient but I think I'd try another hotel if I was going back to Manchester. Devamı

Our standard room had been recently been refurbished to an excellent standard, looked good and everything worked as it should. The hotel is modern and in a great location for city centre activities. Staff were helpful and atentive. Great breakfast at a reasonable price. Would go again and recommend.

We love this hotel , staff very friendly, room clean & tidy, breakfast was 100% , hotel is close to China Town and bars , the underground parking is great !!

Found hotel easy enough using tom tom. Location great for Chinatown and Palace Theatre. Just a short walk to Arndale Centre. Parked below the hotel in a secure car-park. Booked a junior suite and the room was very good. On the top floor and no noise. Didn't dine in and didn't eat breakfast so can't comment. we arrived really early at 9am, we were shattered totally wrecked. i didnt think we would be allowed to check in but they were very nice and we were allowed. the room was v nice and the mattress was v comfortable. will def stay there again 10/10

The reception staff were unfriendly and very slow. There didn't seem to be enough staff on, so there was always a queue during the expected busy times (eg: check out) and they never picked up the phone. The hotel was clean, although the bed was creaky and our lamp did not work. Brilliant location, 5 min walk from all the places you want to see. Easy to find, staff excellent, room clean. Does what it says on the tin! So glad I picked this hotel.

Good value for central location. My only criticism is that the breakfast area was obviously under-staffed, meaning half or more of tables were empty and waiting to be cleared away, meaning we had to wait a while to be seated and be served, in a very messy restaurant area! Bar area much better, although the drinks make you feel like you're in London! Found the hotel a little complicated to get to being in the centre of Manchester but this was one of its plus points. It literally was right in the centre. A short walk to the shops and clubs which is ideal since no one really wants to be right next to a nightclub! Room was perfectly comfortable. Stayed there with another couple and they got a room […] opposite so we were close to each other. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and could have as much as you wanted. Really good location, within walking distance from Picadilly station. Check in was quick. Our room was a very good size, and had good facilities. I liked the shower, the toilet and bathroom are seperate which takes some to get used too. Staff were happy for us to leave our luggage on the last day. Great service, healthy breakfast selection. Very clean. Beware you have to pay for parking (£13 with discount for 24 hours). Friendly, helpful staff and handy central location.

初めてのマンチェスターでしたが、ホテルがポートランド・ストリートとオックスフォード・ストリートの交差点という便利な場所だったので、町を把握するのにも便利でした。予約の際バスタブがあるのかないのか確認できなかったので、なかったのは少々がっくりしましたが、シャワーは水量も多くてよかったです。部屋は静かで快適でした。朝食も質は高いと思います。フロントの人が教えてくれたのですが、ホテルのすぐ隣のインド料理レストランは最高でした。

Bra beliggenhet og bra standard på selve hotellet. Rommet var helt ok til prisen. Frokosten var meget bra. Kort vei til alle severdigheter og aktiviteter i byen.

Veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Gangavstand fra Piccadilly og til de fleste andre severdigheter bortsett fra stadion til det røde forstadslaget. Hjelpsom betjening, god frokost og greie rom til prisen. Det eneste negative er en seng som knirket veldig. Ellers var både far og barn veldig fornøyde.

Vår första vistelse på Novotel i Manchester var mycket bra. Inget att anmärka på service eller stadarden på hotellet. Om vi skulle återkomma till Manchester skulle vi välja detta hotel igen.
