When the name of the place starts with the lettters M-I-C-R-O, I guess I should have expected small! This room was TINY, but despite the size of the room, it was very comfortable and exactly what we needed for a short , one-night stay. We arrived at bed-time and left after we ate the continental breakfast (that was provided), so who in their right mind […] would want to spend a ton of money on some luxurious accomodations? We needed a comfortable bed with clean sheets and bathroom and that's exactly what we got. Overall, I'm on the fence with this hotel. I wanted a non smoking room with children but received a smoking room instead and the manager blamed hotels.com for the miscommunication. I was dismayed that the only lighting in the room came from a bright ceiling light. I would have much preferred bedside lamps. I had to get out of bed to turn off the light after reading, and its angle made it difficult to see because it shined in my eyes. Traffic noise very loud on highway side of motel.

I reserved a 2 night stay at Microtel Inn and Suites. I was completly satisfied. The People who work there are incredibly nice. When I booked my stay it said it didn't include breakfast, but too my surprise we were furnished with breakfast, and they had plenty to choose from. It was only 20 mins from my destination in Pennsylvania, which made it very […] convienent to come back to the hotel. The hotel was very clean. We used this as a go-between skiing at Liberty and Whitetail, as Hagerstown is as close to midway as one can get. When we spend a night at a hotel, all I want is clean, comfort, and quiet, and this is what we received at the hotel. Very limited breakfast, but there is hot coffee and a McDonalds a half-mile away. My first stay at a microtel it was ok but no coffee makers. The desk clerk was not very attentive it was like he was doing us a favor checking us in.

We stayed in this hotel to rest during the middle of a drive home for the holidays. The hotel itself is relatively clean and well kept. The front desk was quick and responsive and check in was easy enough. The hallway on our floor had a rather unpleasant smell to it, somewhat like urinal cakes. The room itself was clean and tidy. The main problem with […] this hotel is its proximity to the highway. The interstate is only about 50 yards from the hotel, so it was extremely noisy and my wife and I got very little sleep. If you do stay here, ask for a room facing away from the interstate and not toward it. My NON-SMOKING room smelled like cigarette smoke. When I brought this to the desk clerks's attention I was assured the room had not been smoked in. Whether it was or wasn't I don't know. It was clean and comfortable.

Heater in first room did not work, second room was fine. Breastfast was bad oj was spoiled, milk bad and no fruit.

Nothing bad to say, except that it might be difficult to find a vacancy on a "busy" weekend - it's a small hotel, no fancy amenities, but OK for one night.

I really enjoyed my stay, the rooms were so clean, they need a higher rating, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet, the breakfast was great and clean. I think this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the rooms smelled good, the bathrooms sparkled. I could go on. Hotel is very convenient if you are traveling through, it is right off of the highway. Beds were comfortable but rooms are small. The room appeared somewhat clean until my son found a cockroach in the bathroom the next morning as we were getting ready to go. I reported it to the manager as were checking out and he waived me off. Needless to say we only […] ate the portion of the complimentary breakfast that was pre-packaged. If there is a roach in my bathroom that has no food source near by, I can only assume that the food prep area is infested. I was only staying one night, I arrived after midnight, and while no one was at the front desk there was a phone and instructions to call for service. I called and the manager came out and got me checked in quickly. The room was clean. The location was close to the highway, but not noisy. I think it was a great deal and I would stay here again.

I spent one night at the Microtel in Hagerstown, MD. The receptionist was friendly and polite, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and sufficient towels for my needs. I am happy to recommend this motel to others and will be staying here again.

The service was extraordinary for the cost. Front Desk manager was very nice and the room was perfect for the cost. My only problem was some highway road noise.

This is a good value for money hotel for vacationers. There is no business center on site so business type travelers may not appreciate this place.

Absolutely no issues. Although I had to pay for extra person which I didnt realize until I was told by the hotel staff. Its unavoidable I guess. Definetely worth the price. Staff was really helpful.

The hotel room is just too small with little or no move around space. There was no ironing board or iron in the room. You have to go to the first floor just to get ice. Microwave was not in the room even though I was told it had one. Shower curtain did not fit the tub well causing the floor to get wet everytime you shower. Room was very clean, location was right next to the highway so it took for ever to get to sleep. Hotel service is basic, complimentary breakfast was very basic. If all you need is a cheap clean room then you could stay here but for the price you can get better. Look at other hotels at a similar price before deciding to stay here.

My room was compact but the bed was so comfortable! I have arthritis and usually don't sleep well in bargain hotels because the bed is usually hard. Not the case here. Very clean and loved the window seat - it made the room seem larger. Friendly service - employees went out of way to be pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is a two-star for a reason so anticipate that when booking. The room itself was fairly clean overall, however we did find some bits of food and an empty beer bottle. While we did not interact with the staff very much they were moderately friendly but not very accommodating. We asked for a late checkout and they barely gave us 30 extra minutes […] to leave even though the entire hotel was empty. My main complaint however, was the different stench in each area of the hotel. While the room smelled ok the rest of the building was unbearable. The vending machines were out of order and the room was tiny but the rate was good so I suppose it's a good value if you're looking for someplace cheap. We picked this hotel because we were traveling and it's right off the highway, near food & gas stations and provides continental breakfast along with very reasonable rates. The hotel was comfortable, pleasant staff.

we stayed one night on the way from FL to NY. It was very clean and new. quiet, and close to highway. all indoor corridors. The only thing I personally did not like was it was so new you smell the "formaldehyde" smell, so one night was plenty if you are sensitive to chemical smells. No pool, but had continental breakfast. It was an older hotel but still in good condition. The staff was nice and made sure to keep the hotel clean.

Hotel Manager "Tony" was courteous and pleasant upon our check-in. Room was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient towels & washcloths for the four of us. In spite of being located close to the Interstate 84, the room was quiet and we spent a comfortable night. Will stay there again on next trip.

The room and hotel was very nice and well kept. The breakfast in the morning was great, a lot to choose from. Ive never stayed in a hotel that had a waffle iron, so that was nice. I was very impressed with this hotel, very clean, staff was great! Close to all of the historical sites I wanted to see. I could not believe all of the perks you get when staying there, I had recently stayed at a very expensive hotel where I had to pay for internet access, they did not offer breakfast, no mimifrige or microwave. At Microtel Hagerstown […] we had free internet, free local,long distance and free calls to Canada, free conintental breakfast, minifrige and microwave. Most often hotels or motels in this price range are a bit run down or old, but this place is a pleasant surprise: new building, good condition, room very clean and comfortable. This is a hotel, not a motel, and rooms are accessed through the lobby. I just needed an inexpensive place to stay for one night not too far from DC while on a quick trip to […] pick up someone there, it served the purpose well. It's just off I-81 north of Hagerstown. My room was in the back so road noise was minimal. It may be worse for rooms on the other side facing the interstate, I don't know. There's a free breakfast: no great shakes, but adequate: juice, (not-very good) coffee, various breads, cereals, and a waffle maker. There are a number of fast food and other chain restaurants close by, some of which deliver to the hotel. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The neighborhood is a typical anonymous sprawl of fast food outlets, car dealerships, and strip malls off the interstate. Nothing special here, but not a "bad" neighborhood by any means. There's a nearly Burger King one could walk to, otherwise use your car. If you're passing through this area and need a clean, pleasant place to sleep without spending too much, I would certainly recommend this Microtel. Devamı
