Best Western Ingram Park Inn - San Antonio

I must say that my stay at the Best Western near Seaworld/Lackland AFB was absolutely the best. Ms. Rose front desk clerk) is an a dream. When one says "She is the cream of the crop" she is. Ms. Rose went above and beyond her call of duty for me and my son. So thank you BW!!! I will recommend your hotel to all my friends, family and everyone.

Great stay for the price...beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, hotel staff friendly..pool area is nice...tv could use an upgrade...continental breakfast was good and fulfilling. Pleasant one night stay...wished I used this hotel on my previous trip to SA a month ago..location convenient to sea world..

I chose this hotel because I got a great deal for it on hotels.com, ended up paying considerably less than the standard price, so I can't complain too much but I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid the full standard rate. Outside appearance is old and run down, needs new paint and decor IMO. I ended up with a handicapped room which I didn't need. This […] meant no vanity counter space like standard rooms have and a hand held shower head that wouldn't stay in it's holder well, kept falling down,made it difficult to use. I guess a handicapped room was the only available for the nonsmoking king I requested, I was thankful to at least get that. Evidently such features cannot be guaranteed in reservations and are strictly subject to availability on arrival. My biggest complaint was the A/C, it wasn't terribly uncomfortable, but not nearly as cool as would be expected, the units really need replacement/servicing. Continental breakfast was good, but be prepared to take it with you as seating is very limited. The other reason I chose this hotel was location, very good if you're going to seaworld or lackland air base. Staff was nice and our stay was decent I suppose. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a place just to sleep for a night or two, but for an extended stay for leisure, I think I'll choose another place next time. Devamı

If you are looking for a spa retreat, this is not it. The hotel was older, small, and somewhat difficult to get out of due to its proximity to an intersection and an exit off 410. However, the room was reasonably clean and tidy, beds were comfortable, and staff was very helpful and polite. We stayed in a mini suite and the fridge was not working when […] we checked in. Within 15 minutes, we had a replacement. The area doesn't look too nice, but the location is very close to a mall and many restaurants. If you are looking for meager accommodations, this location will suit you fine. I mistakenly chose this location instead of Best Western Atrea, I even went to Atrea, to learn I was at the wrong one. After arriving at the Lackland location, I was told the Double Queen Suite that Hotel s.com sold me was not available. I was told by the Manager I would […] have to sort it out with Hotel s.com. We enjoyed our stay at Best Western while visting Sea World. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioner worked well and wasn't too annoying. We had much more storage space than at our previous hotel. The pool was great! Thanks!!!

The A/C operation was not acceptable - the temperature was very marginal at best. I pulled the front grill to inspect - this unit has not had any maintenance and needs cleaning.

This is an old hotel. Just know the room photos on the website are deceiving. I reserved three (3) rooms for our weekday visit. One of the rooms did not have a refrigerator or microwave and the other was missing bed runners and pillows. The carpet was old, dirty and stained. We had to ask for towels, blankets, and soap. Pool area wasn't clean. Room was nice.

If you are looking for a resort this is not it but if you want a comfortable, clean, quiet room you should look here. We stayed a week; the rooms were cleaned everyday and none of our stuff was bothered, the pool was clean, the staff friendly. Breakfast can be crowded and on the lean side. The location was great for what we were in San Antonio for.

Our stay ended up being ok, only because my teens were flexible. When we arrived we found 1 king bed and a twin rollaway bed. We had booked 2 queens. Since I was traveling with 3 teens, this was problematic. When I called the office, I was told our room arrangement was not a guarantee, there was nothing they could do-not even bring in another rollaway. […] Only after I insisted the manager call me were they able to bring in another rollaway bed. The pool had some kind of film stuff all in it. My teens refused to swim in it, and the breakfast dining was sooo crowded, we ended up bringing chairs over to the business "computer" section in the lobby. The front desk seemed less than concerned that our sleeping arrangements wouldn't work for us, only saying they could move us to another room the next day. It worked out, but it was less than ideal. The room was not well cleaned when we arrived – there were crumbs on the table. We stayed for 4 days. They didn't supply us with enough clean towels, and didn't put them in the bathroom. They didn't supply us with more shampoo, we had to ask for it. They didn't supply us with more coffee for the in-room coffee maker – which probably had never been cleaned […] since it was new. Hotel was clean and roomy, beds were comfortable. Breakfast is basically cereal and waffles.

Room key did not work everyday and we had to get it reprogrammed everyday. No room to eat breakfast. Lines for the breakfast were 8-10 deep at all times. Poor outside appearance with poor landscaping.

Sea World and Downtown Alamo,riverwalk and Mexican Market wonderful easy access for it all.

Reserved a king non smoking received 2 queen smoking (really strong). Tolite stop working in the middle of the night. Room was not cool at all had to turn on the ac unit my self after arival after 100 degree weather all day. No security and survalance that worked properly.... Breakfast area needs to be bigger had to fight for a seat and waited 20 min […] to make food nothing really for little kids all adult food. Asked for extra pillows since we got the wrong room they had none asked for extra blankets since there were no pillows for my 2 year old who normaly sleep in a toddler bed and they did not have any. They ran out of Towels for us to take showers one day also. Make another choice the price maybe right but it will cost you in the long run. Devamı

Reserved a room but only room available at the rate was smoking which I was told rooms come first to arrive regardless of reservation, I upgraded at additional cost to a 3 queen bed suite which simply a room with three queen beds literally and separate from the main hotel. Our first night the ac did not work. They refused to move us to another room. The manager checked the ac the next day and said it was working fine. It was still hot. They finally moved us to a different room. The next day we saw them replacing the ac unit that they said was working fine. Nicest Best Western I've ever stayed at. Booked it because of the price, but ended up very happy. Booked two rooms and they didn't have two regular rooms next to each other so they asked if smoking would be okay. I checked out the rooms, they smelled fine and they were both huge suites. I was very disappointed with the hotel, the guests that were there, the "breakfast" and the service. We arrived after 10 to a locked front door which had to be unlocked by the front desk person for check in. There was a very rude man that was sitting on the stairs talking on his cell phone using very inappropriate language who wouldn't move and made […] it very difficult for us to get to our room with our luggage. The next morning we went for the breakfast of which there was no milk, cereal for adults but not kids. I had to ask three times for the milk to be replaced so my kids could eat. I was basically disappointed with our stay and experience and will NEVER stay at a Best Western again. Devamı

My husband and I stayed here for one night with our 2 year old when going to Sea World. The price was affordable, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. For one thing, the surrounding traffic on the highway was a nightmare. There was a lot of construction around so it made it hard to get to it after going to dinner. When we got to the room, the window […] unit outside of our room was dripping water from being on. There just needs to be something in place to catch the water. I also wasn't expecting a window unit, but oh well. Also, there was no blanket or comforter on the bed. There was just some skinny stretch of fabric at the end of the bed which seemed pointless. I tried to look around for a blanket, but there was nothing. I was freezing most of the night and it made it hard to sleep. Also, when I took a shower, it would have been nice to have a complimentary shower cap and conditioner. They provided shampoo, but no conditioner. Overall, the motel wasn't totally crappy, it just wasn't what I expected. It sufficed for having someplace to crash for the night. Devamı

Air conditioners are running and DRIPPING on the 2nd floor causing very slippery pavement. I was watching out for the puddles but I fell HARD down the stairs and have quite a nasty bruise. Walkways should be labeled with caution cones to help prevent this.

We love this hotel.

It was a great location, clean rooms. Close to shopping centers. Good breakfast selection.

While it was an older hotel it was clean and taken care of. It is easy to access shops and places to eat. It was about 10 mintues to Sea World. Has a nice pool.

In the middle of the night the a/c went out, but they fixed it that morning. In the bathrom on the wall was a little bit of mold. It was close to seaworld which was a plus and near the mall and movies which was a plus.

The hotel lobby smelled, the room we stayed in did not look like it was really cleaned before we stayed there maybe just a quick walk through. There was hair from previous guest in the shower and on the toilets. I do not recommend. We definitely sacrificed quality for the rate we paid. The room was nicer than I had expected for the price. We had 2 queen beds, a bar counter with mini-fridge & microwave, and pull-out couch. The tv was older and the screen had lines on many channels; it's time for the hotel to update these. The air conditioner worked really well, left on high for the whole day, and when we returned the room was freezing […] cold! The pool area had very nice landscaping with palm trees, and was located in a center courtyard. The hotel was located right off the highway, but the traffic noise didn't bother us. Front desk people very helpful, close to Lackland AFB, breakfast was great.

Overall it wasn't terrible. The cleaning crew threw away food we were keeping and the carpet was obviously never shampooed yes it was vacuumed. Don't get me wrong, it was a pleasant stay and the neighborhood although a little risky though. Sirens all night and the highway noise was loud. I reserved a room that should of been a suite, i received a totally different room from the picture of the room i thought i was going to get, everything was so tight in the room. Also the very first night there were big cockroaches in the room. I was offered another room even smaller with no reduction in pay, i was from out of town and my credit card […] already charged so we had no choice but to stay. Devamı

Best Western is a great hotel with great service, the hotel is great with the pool and the free breakfast. The breakfast was really good. Everything was good. My whole family wants to go back to the same hotel!

The highways in San Antonio are somewhat confusing. I could see the hotel, but not GET to it! Had to ask at a Marriot! :-) I have stayed at much nicer Best Western hotels. They did have a nice pool area, extended breakfast (fresh fruit and waffles), friendly personnel. Room was fine. Outside entry, 2 floors, no elevator. Perhaps the review's title sounds a bit exaggerated, but this hotel totally deserves it. This is one of the cleanest and most comfortable hotels my family and I have had the pleasure to visit in a while (the beds were 10 times more comfortable than the ones we slept on at a 4 star Hotel in San Francisco a couple years ago). Its quaint, vintage, 1970's […] exterior and atrium takes you back to a better time. It's close to Seaworld, Shopping, Lackland Airforce Base, and a short drive to all other points of interest. The hotel was at best average condition. The breakfast area was very small and conjested.. Fridge did not work, hair dryer did not work and the light on the phone continually blinked. We requested a downstairs room after booking on line and calling the hotel. but when we got there we were put upstairs. We were in this hotel for 3 days and our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were clean, the air conditioner worked great, lots of hot water in the shower and a decent continental breakfast. The pool is in the middle courtyard and was very clean and nicely landscaped. This property is tidy and well maintained. The folks behind the desk […] were very friendly and helpful when needed. All in all a great stay, My one concern was that the highway would be loud and noisy, but I slept so well I didn't hear a thing. If you are wanting near lackland or downtown it is a good location. Seaworld, Lackland AFB, Downtown, 6 flags are all close. The mall is a block away. Tons of places to eat Dave and Busters is close. Target, Marie Calender, you name it it is close by Couple of good night clubs nearby. Everything you need is with 10 minutes for food, shopping entertainment. The […] only thing was getting the maids to replace the cups in the room and plastic bag for the ice bucket seemed to be a chore. Just find their cart and take what you want.. Only one employee didn't speak english. Over all it is a good hotel and located very well. Not the best place but it is a good place to stay for sure Devamı
