Crestwood Suites - Greensboro - Greensboro

This hotel was chosen on the basis of price, which was very good. If price is the key factor in one's choice, this would be an acceptable hotel. However, for me it is a combination of price and experience since I travel often and do not want to stay is sub-par facilities. I would rate this hotel as a two star as I think of hotels. The room smelled strongly […] of smoke. The bed was cheap. The Hotel was run down and badly in need of updating. The screen to the window had obviously been forced, leading me to thing that this ground floor room was not safe. To their credit, when I politely checked out, the person at reception indicated that she would prefer to not charge me, at least for one of the two nights, even though I booked on the web. Poor beds and bedding, tolet had to be flushed 4 time, carpet in the halls was disgusting and there was no insulation in the walls. I will never stay in a Crestwood Suites again.

Very very disappointed! First, when we arrived it was late, doors locked, no staff or manager on site. A newly employee who did not know what he was doing (but tried). Secondly, did not get into room for an hour. Thirdly, the room (specifically the bed), was sunked in. Lastly, I did not take my clothes off to go to bed because I was afraid for my life. […] The environment did not feel safe. We checked out the very next morning at sunrise. When checking out, I wanted a copy of my receipt that I was checking out. She told me that "our copy paper did not come in yet" so I gave her a piece of paper to make me a copy of my receipt! Checked in before 9PM and had to wait on the front desk attendant to show up to get our keys when we got there. We paid for 2 rooms. Rooms were fairly clean but the beds were hard and the sofa was broken in one of the rooms. Television in one of the rooms was defective; lines in the top which distorted the picture. We got up to go out to breakfast on […] Saturday morning and one of the housekeeping ladies kept asking each of us if we were checking out yet every time we came into and out of our room; very annoying when we were no where near the 11am check out. Hotel is getting "tired". Carpets and furniture need to be replaced. Sound proofing would be a big asset, conversations and other noise seemed in hallways and adjacent rooms to be inside the room. Needed a place in a hurry due to heating failure at house, worked for the one night but would not have my guests stay at this facility.

No light bulb in the lamps over bed, the toilet did not flush ....When told the clerk she did not say I am sorry or anything .....

The ratings were given and 2 for the hotel - should be a 3 or more out of 5. The cooktop, microwave and fridge all worked well. Internet was good and easy to set up on the desk / counter / table. Small but effective for a one night on the fly stay over.

This hotel was acceptable for our intended purpose which was a simple overnight stay. The rooms were clean. The decor was a little shabby with worn upholstery and torn drapery, but the room was comfortable enough for a one night stay. The price was good and had a full size refrigerator and kitchenette. We received very good service from staff. Our television […] quit working during the evening hours and we were told no maintenance people were working, but that we could switch rooms. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. The new room was actually cleaner than our first and we were able to enjoy our stay there. I had no worries about location since the hotel is in a more commercial setting. Devamı

Great accomendations.Only problem was the maids came by twice before 10:00am and checkout was 11.I felt they were trying to get us out of there

It was really disappointing. The love seat was grimy with dirt and what must have been greasy bodies. The bed was really hard and the pillows gave me a crick in my neck.

When I walked into the room I could not believe that one of the windows in the bedroom had no drape and huge pieces of duct tape ran up and down the window. Worst I have ever seen. Also was a smoking room. After I complained they moved me to another floor. Even though the gal was polite I would never stay at this hotel again.

I have stayed at this hotel many time and for the prices is an excellent value. Was not very crowed this time so quiet. When it does get crowed it is a little noisy, but still good for the value. Can't beat having a place with full refrig, cooking stove and microwave, dishes and utensils, and free wireless.

This is a fairly new inn. The construction was shoddy. We only needed it to sleep overnight and catch a flight so the amenities were unimportant. We had to leave before the front desk opened and there was no way to check out or leave the keys. The night manager seemed indifferent and was hard to rouse. For the cost, we shouldn't complain.

It was near the location of the Product Symposium held in Greensboro, NC. Room setup was nice, the bed could have been more comfortable but overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Room was clean and maintained. Hotel service could you some attention. Ask for pillows at the counter, returned to counter an hour later to pick up pillows that were suppose to be delivered. People hanging out in lobby that were sleeping. NO coffee downstairs!! NO ice machine!!

The rooms were clean and the location very convenient. The kitchen design helps save money with a fridge, stove, sink and island design eating table. The TV's are a little out of date so you can't bring any of your own VCR's, DVD, Blue-Ray or gaming systems to use while staying but for the price of your stay, this can be overlooked if you don't have […] young kids that you might want to entertain. It may say "extended stay" on hotels.com site, but I missed it. As such, no daily room service. Also, as extended stay it's quite a "construction worker" place - i.e. lots of late night party noise, and lots of early wake-up calls! Rooms are very noisy - I heard above, below and both sides. My shower stall was so noisy on the floor it sounded like it […] was going to crack into pieces - and can only imagine how that sounded below me! Staff was very friendly, but desk only open day light hours. Coffee in lobby was "sad" to say the least. Lots of stuff close by for food and shopping though. Just not a place for business traveler. 2 nights only. Extended stay hotel. No daily housekeeping, large room with full kitchen, thick towels, no breakfast, clean room. Firm bed and pillows. A little loud with room near front door. Would stay again.

Did not clean the rooms on a daily basis.

I booked a room with a bigger bed and for some reason the night attendant tells me, " I dont know why they booked you this room, but we aient got that one available." She said we only have double beds. I went with it due to allready purchasing the room online, but I cant believe this happened. Im sure others may have got this treatment too. This hotel has not caught up with the times at all. It's very out dated and needs renovated badly. Probably the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in a long time. The wifi signal got one bar in my room at best. The accommodations in the bathroom were less than attractive. The front desk staff took too long to assist me on check in upon my arrival […] and weren't very friendly once they did help me. Overall I would say if it's a last resort it's not a bad option, and really the price wasn't bad but if you have other options I would seek those out. Devamı

We have stayed at the Crestwood Suites in Greensboro 2 times now while visiting my sister at HPU. It is wonderfully close to the University and the kitchen is useful when making chicken soup for a sick colloege kid. The staff were very cooperative and knowledgeable about the area. Could not stay the room was TERRIBLE. Bed felt like a pull out sofa bed. I touched it and ran!

For the price, not bad..we had driven all night and get there and no one was at the front desk and the doors were closed to get to the front desk (interesting), finally someone showed up 15 minutes later. The hotel was Ok..... my room had a burnt odor upon entering..., I didnt have any facial tissue in my room I thought that was unusual.... The main issue was the wireless router was down therefore I did'n have internet service on my laptop...

I stay here often for the convenience. Rooms are adequate and have full kitchen for a very reasonable rate. Some rooms are better than others, but most of the time clean and fairly comfortable. Sometimes the noise is a little irritating as families stay and the parents will rarely control the kids yelling, screaming or running in the hallways. Only […] have had this happen a few times. Internet works well, and shower and bathroom - clean and no issues. Bed is ok - not the best, but if you are looking for a luxuary bed - stay somewhere else. The hotel in itself was not horrible though it was definitely low-budget. Guess I just lucked out in that I got a room with a toilet full of mold. There was a thick ring around the top- I lifted the lid and was blasted by that trademark musty smell. Problem is, I'm very sensitive to mold so I was sick to my stomach all night. Nice clean room with great service.

This hotel is easily accessible to the Coliseum. The room is clean, and well equipped. The bathroom did have some mold around the faucet. The room smelled clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. The location and price worked out great. The price was 1/3 of what my friends paid to stay at the Sheraton about 5 miles away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The common areas did smell of cigars. I would stay again and recommend it as well.

We stayed 7/23/11- 7/24/11. The room smelled good and it was clean. The check in employee was very nice and helpful as well as the check out employee. The only complaint I have about this hotel is there is no pool. Besides that, I would definitely stay here again.

Fine hotel overall. Close to the interstate but the bed was pretty stiff / firm. Not a bad place for a night stopping over on the way someplace but wouldn't want an extended stay.

I have stayed at this hotel before about 4 years ago and as I remember it was a decent place to stay. The rooms were nice and everything was great. Fast-forward to now, I think it was just a bad day, the stay was still good, but as we pulled into the grounds, there was a firetruck outside. Turns out a water pipe had burst and flooded one section of […] the hotel on the second floor. The front desk manager was out taking care of that so it took a while to check in but when she returned she was really nice and accomodating. We had 4 rooms, and when we arrived we had no water due to the pipe and one of the rooms the bed broke as someone sat on it, but it was originally a showcase room and not usually used for overnight guests. All in all, the stay was fine, I just think that it was bad timing for all the stuff that went wrong and it was still a good stay for the money. Devamı

can hear noise going down the hallways & understairs is the only negative part of the stay. Otherwise very clean & well - lighted in parking lot. Convience to main road.
