Very nice, will probably stay there next time i am in town.

Great place for families that need extra rooms for kids. Verty well stocked and very clean . Nice views of the golf course. Great indoor and outdoor pools. Mini golf and playgrounds too. hotel is always very clean and comfortable.....pool area is immaculate and stays open til 11:00 which is a MAJOR plus for my family....we love the spaciousness....toilet in master suite ran all night while we were there, but i didn't tell them until we checked out, otherwise I am sure thay would have looked at it...so I really can't complain about it. […] The only thing i don't like about the resort is that the majority of the check in staff (not the concierge) is not very friendly at all....there a a couple who are friendly, but majority don't speak, don't smile...which is uncomfortable for us as we try to make check in pleasant, but their personalities leave a lot to be desired. Loved the amenities! Nice resort, clean room, great price and plenty to do! Only complaints are when you get your "welcome package" the were slightly pushy about the Timeshare presentation, the curtains were dirty and broken, and the furniture was quite dated. Would stay here again!!

My family enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay at Greensprings resort. The suite was beautiful and clean and we had every amenity at our disposal. We stayed during the Winter off season rates which was an excellent deal. The beds were very comfortable, washing and drying units were available. The kitchen was nicer than my own! This property is next to a golf course and among other upscale neighborhoods on the outskirts of Williamsburg. It's a short drive to shopping, dining, and other area attractions.

The resort is undergoing renovations however you would never know it by the looks of things! Everything is still very nice, clean and quiet! We stayed in a newly renovated 2 bedroom and it was beautiful!!!! My only dislike was that the 2nd Bedroom does not have a tv in it. The activity center was ver nice and the staff were very friendly from the Gate […] Security to the Receptionist! Be sure to ask for a renovated unit. I thought the resort was beautiful! They have a basketball court, mini golf, indoor/outdoor pools, playgrounds etc. Full of things to do and activities. Our only complaint is the top of our curtains were really dusty, dated furniture, timeshare pitch and calls (unplug the phone!), and the living room curtain track was broken and hard to close. We have stayed at Greensprings before and always recommend it to everyone. Its a little bit of a drive from downtown Colonial Williamsburg but well worth it for the peace, quiet and more room than your standard hotel. We will go back!

Very simply put the resort is just fine. The only problem was the super high pressure timeshare presentation that lasted twice as long as promised (nearly 4 hours in total). The salesman would not take no for an answer. My wife and I have never been so glad to get out of a room!!!

This was my second stay and enjoyed both visits. It was convenient andnperfect for a small family getaway. The condonwas big enough to make the kids feel as if they had their own private living quarters.

I read the reviews at many of the area hotels to include this one in the Williamsburg Area and was alittle nervous to stay at a Time Share Resort. I found the staff (from the Security gate, to the Front Desk, to the Maintenance Staff) very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, and pool was nice. Resort was kid friendly with mini-golf and board […] game rentals. One problem, which was not a major issue, our key card didnt work and after visiting the front desk and re-setting our keys a Maintenance worker met us at the condo unit to make sure the key worked. That impressed me. It doesnt matter if you decline the Time Share buy-in after the presentation the staff still is very welcoming, and you still get your gifts/discounts. The Greensprings Vacation Resort was exactly what we wanted and more. The only negative things I have to say about it is the hard sell timeshare phonecall prior to our arrival insisting that we agree to attend a 90 minute presentation, etc, etc. which we chose not to attend even though there were supposed perks attached to attending. The front desk […] people were very helpful and thoroughly understood that we were not planng to attend the presentation. We'd go back if planning to be in the Williamsburg area. The facilities looked fabulous - gigantic pool and lovely golf course. I would suggest it would be a great place for a family to stay considering the size of the accommodations - 3 televisions, etc. far cheaper then staying at a hotel and being able to prepare meals "at home." This is a great option for those with kids. The extra bedroom, living room, and kitchen made it easy. We didn't take advantage of the pool, golf, or the Putt Putt for kids, but we will next time. The staff will briefly solicit you for timeshare, but if you decline they don't persist.

Large condo, clean and well furnished and equipped. Great value for $$$

The 2 br condo was spacious and clean - a lot of room for the great price. The decor was out of date, but the bedding was comfortable. My only problem was the bedroom windows only had cheap blinds and no drapes so there was no way to darken the room for sleeping. It was like sleeping in the Walmart parking lot. Greenspring is close to Colonial Williamsburg and a short drive from Busch Gardens. It was great having so much space. They have lots for the kids to do. It felt like a home away from home.

Very nice condo, lots of activities, close to everything, the presentation we sat through took 2 hours, but we got a nice Visa gift card and the gifts rep gave us a wonderful coupon to use at Busch Gardens, saved us a ton on 6 tickets.

Greensprings Resort was a great alternative to staying in a single hotel room. My wife and I were travelling with our two children and wanted something with a separate bedroom for them. Our room was great. It was not one of the updated rooms which I had read about but the furnishings were fine. The condo was very clean. We had a two bedroom condo on […] third floor. We had two full baths and a good size washer dryer. Very convenient for washing clothes from your day at the water park or Busch Gardens. The kitchen had all new small appliances. Coffee maker was top notch. King beg in main bedroom was very comfortable. Kids had two single beds in their room. Each bedroom had TV as well as a nice flat screen in main living room. We had a small deck to sit out on in morning and we overlooked the golf course. Very quiet. Didn't use the pool but sat by it while our room was being prepared. It was a good size and had a nice snack bar. We had a small problem with a backed up toilet but maintenance was very responsive and courteous. We were asked if we wanted to go to the presentation for the timeshare and politely declined. That was it. No pushy salespeople. The phone rang once from the office but I did not answer it. Overall a very nice stay and a great alternative to a cramped hotel room. Also, parking was free. We were a 15 minute drive to Water Country and less for Busch Gardens so no problem there either. Take your phone off the hook if you don't want to be called daily for a timeshare presentation. However, it is a very nice place if they weren't trying to work an angle daily.

Our unit was very clean and the appliances were like new. Everything needed for a great family vacation is nearby. They don't hassle you as much as some other timeshare resorts.

Stayed for five nights with my wife and four kids (ages 7, 5, 4, and 1). Had a top floor, newer unit as requested. The room itself was perfect in all respects for our family -- spacious, clean, and totally updated. Was prepared to spend much more at Kingsmill Resort (which I imagine is nice, too), but went with the value-based option provided by Greensprings […] and was glad I did. Saved a ton of money and had a room that was just as nice, if not nicer, than what I could see of rooms on the Kingsmill site. I did get a pitch at check-in to come to an informational meeting about Diamond Resort properties. I politely declined and was pleased to see the concierge did not force the issue, although the incredulous look on her face was noticeable. She at least still gave me the information packet on the property and surrounding area, but without a smile I might add that one would expect from a "concierge." The resort appeared to have plenty to offer for my kids (pool, playground, miniature golf), but we filled each day at Busch Gardens/Water Country/Williamsburg that we never experienced any of the resort offerings. On that note, Greensprings is conveniently located to everything (no more than 15 minute drive to all tourist spots). So, if you are looking for an affordable location for your family that is close to everything in the Williamsburg area, Greensprings would be the place to stay. The condo unit we stayed in (14D) had a luxury feel to it and, importantly, a lot of space to accommodate our large family comfortably. Devamı

I would recommend this place for large groups .Kitchen was well equipped with new appliances, dished glasses .pots ect.Beds were comfortable .It is a time share so let them know you are not interested when you arrive

Great place to stay and only minutes from Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and tons of shopping/places to eat. Was only asked twice to participate in the "time-share speech" and because I was adament that I did not want to participate, I wasn't asked again. I would definately revisit.

Greensprings Resort is absolutely beautfiul. The grounds and rooms were very nice and very well kept. There were a few minor things noticed in the room that could use some updating, but overall a great place to stay. We will definitely visit again.

The Greensprings Resort was very nice, ver clean, and very convenient to all Colonial Pkwy sites. Did not care for the 'timeshare' pitch, although I was treated respectfully. We agreed to listen to the presentation in exchange for 3-day passes to Williamsburg (a fair savings in $$). In the future, however, I'll just pay the $$ and reserve my vacation-time […] freedom. Also, when we accepted to presentation they gave us a 'late' checkout in order to listen to the presentation; however, the late checkout was 1 hour and the presentation is 2 hours. When we returned to our room our locks were deactivated and we could not get our luggage. We had to go to the office and get a staff member to let us in so we could get our luggage. Good location. Very close to Water Country USA and Busch Gardens. Also we drove to Virginia Beach one day. The swimming pool looked decent although we did not have time to use it. Me, my wife and two children stayed at this Condo, and we very satisfied with our stay. It was a great deal on the room. The room gave us our own separate room and bathroom, so we had plenty of privacy. The room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. We look forward to staying at the condo again. It was not what we expected, poor customer service/hospitality and we would never choose to stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.

Overall a great resort and experience at Greensprings. We requested a first floor room - as we found out from other reviews, there were no elevators - which was honored. We were close to the main pool and activities center which was convenient. There were basketballs, tennis ractets, board games that you could sign out free of charge - put put golf […] for a couple dollars per person. Everywhere we ventured too was close by - within 15 minutes. (Busch Gardens, Watercountry, Colonial Williamsburg, the local Walmart) Kings Dominion was about an hour north. Two things that I do want to point out about this resort. 1) On our second day, we noticed a bunch of small ants on the kitchen floor, and after further investigation, it seems that the previous guests had dropped something under the fridge. After calling the front desk however, they were very prompt in taking care of it. 2) I had read previous posts about this hotel that said (not sure if it was on this site or another one) that the timeshare tour was required. It didn't affect me as I have stayed in many of these types of resorts, and a firm NO always works. Plus I just assumed the person writing that review had heard wrong. After all, they can't require you to attend (Unless you book through their website and it says that you must attend in the fine print) Anyway, upon check in - and after being directed to the concierge desk for my "welcome package", I could not belive it - the lady actually said the word required! I simplyed chuckled, and said No it's not, and I'm not interested. She said ok, and asked why - to which I simply replyed that I have looked into vacation ownership and It's not for me - and that's it. So for all of you that don't want to waste your time on the tour, my advise is - you don't have to be rude, but you do have to be firm in your response that you are not interested. And just be warned, they will call your room a few times to try and set up a time - and if you happen to be in the room, don't Devamı

Everything about this resort was top notch, first class. Accommodations are clean, spacious, very comfortable. Only downside is timeshare presentation, but worth the inconvenience. Would definitely return and refer to friends. Left something in room which was taken to security by staff. Very thankful.

I traveled with my daughter (2 1/2) and husband as well as my sister, brother in law and their 2 kids (ages 3 and 7). We had a 2 bedroom suite in building #7. Everything in the room was great. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. The washer and dryer in the room came in handy as well. However, if you plan on doing laundry, dont forget […] to bring detergent! The living area was spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean and comfortable as well. We spent one day at the resort using the kiddy pool which was a nice treat for the smaller kids. The indoor pool and main pool were nice, however smaller than what the pictures seem to depict. You can also order food at the cabana near the pool, and the prices are super reasonable, We were approached at check in as well as a few times during our stay about attending the time share presentation. We remained firm that we had a very tight schedule. If you really do not want to attend the presentation, be sure to not accept any gifts from them. The facilities from what we saw were clean, well maintained, and beautiful. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous. I think the only not so great thing at this resort was that you had to bring down all your trash prior to check out. That seemed a little strange to us. About a 20 minute drive to bush gardens and water country USA. Nice supermarket, Martins, a few minutes by car. Would definitely stay here again. It is exactly what we were looking for. Devamı

We stayed at the resort during the summer of 2011. Our planned activities were Colonial Williamsburg, biking, and pool usage. The room was clean and well designed. We had a two room unit with two bathrooms. The extra room helped as we used it for our baby. The master bathroom was real nice as it had a jacuzzi and two sink for my wife and I. We had a […] first floor unit but it had steps to go down to. It was annoying at first but then became a nusaince later on. The bottom floor had its pros as we were able to move our luggage and bikes into the room via the back door so we didn't have to take the stairs. The only thing we didn't like was the walk to the pool. It was a 10 min walk but in 100 degree weather it felt like an hour. The pool was nice and warm and there were plenty of open seats in the morning and mid afternoon before dinner. Towels were free as long as you signed them out and in everyday. The poolside cafe was great but could have been a bit more reasonable. I paid $7 for a rum with pinapple juice and crushed ice. The kiddie pool was nice and clean. People were freindly. We didn't get housekeeping as it costs an extra amount per week. Although I could say that we had a sufficient amount of supplies for the week. We didn't like the fact that we had to pay for internet. In todays day and age this should be offered as a perk. If a coffee house can offer it for free, a place that I am staying at for a week should do the same. We had to pay $20 for 3 nights to connect to a open wifi connection using AT&T. There was plenty of shopping 10 min away by car and a plethera of restaurants in Williamsburg. Overall, I was happy with the hotel and would stay again in the future if given the opportunity. Devamı

Beautiful fun family resort. Booked via hotels.com aind wasn't aware I would hounded with a time share sales pitch (4x). Was even told my room wasn't ready upon arrival so I would assist a presentation while I waited. When I decline, my room was magically ready.

Happy to find this on hotels.com. Nice condo, with 2 bedrooms (1 room twin beds), w/d, big garden whirlpool bathtub, and comfortable beds. Pool was just okay, but we were only an hour away from Va Beach, which is where we got our water time in. It is a time share, and I said I wasn't interested in a meeting and wasn't hassled. I recommend this if you […] are doing the historic triangle: Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. 2 hours away is Charlottesville where you can visit Monticello.
