Sofitel London St James - Londra

otel odası (Lüks oda ve ek fiyat verilmiş olmasına rağmen) makina dairesi avlusuna bakıyordu ve çok gürültülüydü. Sabah kahvaltısı akşama kadar odada duruyordu ve tabaklar kaldırılmamıştı. Büyük bir hayal kırıklığı!

The Sofitel location is excellent,, as affirmed volunarily by every cabby that dropped me off at the hotel. The restaurant and bar were exceptional, the staff friendly and accomodating, and the room was spacious and well appointed. Best luxury 5 Star in London

the staff is amazing, such willingness to help in any subject is excellent. Room was a bit small to our taste yet included all that is required. Theroom view was bad overlooking the back yard of he Hotel. the location is amazing, just between the Palace, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Square - we simly walked everywhere we needed.

The Hotel staff was excellent. Very helpful, very friendly. The bar and restaurant was also very good with excellent staff. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping staff very helpful. I would stay there again. It is a convenient location.

Among all the London hotels I have stayed in during my 4 visits in 2 years, Softiel London is the best and the most outstanding one in terms of location, convenience and comfort. All the staff are very helpful and polite, paying attention to the last detail, making our stay most satifying. this hotel is in absolutely the best part of London - St. James/Mayfair, right on the edge of St. James and Green Park, a very short walk (5 minutes) to Oxford Street, Regent Street, Bond Street, surrounded by the finest art galleries (National Portrait, Royal Academy). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, a harpist plays in the foyer in the afternoons, […] the rooms are extremely comfortable with thoughtful details like adapters for overseas visitors, powerful hairdryers and Hermes toiletries. Service excellent, all of the staff were excellent, attentive, accommodating, and the hotel is beautiful, old historic building, new luxury interior. Chef is excellent. Fantastic stay.

Having done a lot of travelling and staying in top class hotels, I found the Sofitel St James was perfect for our 5 days in London. Great location about 200 metres from Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus and very close to the best shopping on Regent and Oxford Streets. St James Park, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park are an easy walk with Westminster […] Abbey also very close. Together with the best bed out of all hotel beds, very friendly and accommodating staff, i would recommend the Sofitel to everyone travelling to London - paying a bit more is well worth it. Devamı

Our expectations of London hotels were previously very low indeed. However, this one turned out to be by far the best hotel of all that we stayed in during our European holiday. The price, like most London hotels, was high but this one delivered on quality. Highly recommended if you can afford it.

The hotel is in a great location, service was very good and room was very up to date, large and attractive. Everything was great I only wish the people in the room next door were more respectful, it was a loud family with children, they liked to yell a lot. Of course this was NOT the fault of the hotel. The Sofitel London St. James was an excellent home base in London. The location was great, near Buckingham Palace and a few blocks from Piccadilly Circus and its underground station. The rooms were large enough, not vast but comfortable, and the quality of furnishings and finishes were merely a step below Four Seasons/Ritz Carlton. The service was outstanding. […] Don't ask me how the front desk staff remembers your name each time you approach, but many of them did. Housekeeping was unobtrusive, thorough and prompt. The breakfast dining staff fell over themselves, very professional, to make sure we were happy. I wish I could remember the cost, but I don't. I recall that it's not cheap, but less expensive than many alternatives. Even so, if the price fits your budget, I highly recommend the Sofitel. Great stay! Devamı

Very nice hotel with excellent service. The rooms were not that big - but for London standard ok. Breakfast buffet excellent but quite expensive 24£

Only in for one night. Hotel was immaculate, comfortable, clean, etc. It's a five star hotel. Shocker. I would like to make special mention of the fruit served with my breakfast. I don't know where it came from, but it was absolutely perfect. Like so good I'm going to have a hard time eating other fruit.

Great for light sleepers!

We stayed at the Sofitel London St. James the weekend of the Royal wedding (timing just worked out that way after a 2 week cruise). The hotel was fabulous. From the moment we arrived we felt like VIPs. The customer service was phenomenal. The manager, front desk staff, bell staff and bar staff all made us feel extra special and went out of their way […] to make sure we were well taken care of. Some local friends of ours met us at the bar for pre-dinner drinks and commented on the excelent service. The room was a good size and quiet. The hotel location was superb for tourist attractions and West End shows. We will defintely stay at this Sofitel again. Devamı

Their was a bit of a mixup with our room. This was brought to the attention of the Asst. FO Mananger who promptly corrected thhe mistake and when he found out it was our 20th anniverary provided us with a excellent complimentary bottle of bubbly. The location was great the hotel was immaculate and the service was terrific. the concierge was very helpful […] with his recomendation and securing a reservation at a top sea food restaurent . Wonderfully located for sight seeing and business.

An AMAZING experience!!!! Highly suggested to anyone going to London!!! I have stayed in many Sofitels around the world and London St James was the BEST service, BEST food, BEST location, everything was simply GREAT! Surely will be back there.!

This hotel is in a perfect location. It is within walking distance of so many of the attractions in London. Shopping and good restaurants are within walking distance.

We stayed in the Sofitel St James for 3 nights. We had asked for a quiet room which we got and the doors are the quietest in any hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff are all delightful, and Louise in the bar was particularly friendly and helpful. The spa and the gym are both good. The expresso machine in your room on request is a realy nice touch. Excellent location close to 2 min walk from Picadilly & Trafalger Square. The staff were couteous and friendly and the hotel was very well maintained and decorated. I would like to stay here again and would recommend it to any body else.

I was without my husband visiting a business friend. As soon as I entered my room, I said I couldn't wait to come back with my husband. The staff was super...the room was luxurious....any help needed was there....and the gym was SUPER!! Didn't get to use the spa, but it was gorgeous and I hope the next time! Extremely quiet and luxuriously comfortable! […] If anywhere in your price range, I HIGHLY recommend!!!! Was also refundable if canceled within the reasonable period...this was a big plus for me as well! Devamı

Our fourth visit - we won't stay anywhere else in London now.

I thoroughly recomend this hotel- it exceeded our expectations in every way. Location was great very close to Regent St, Oxford St and all the shows. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the concierge were excellent! Our room was small but most of London! is! We stayed in 7 hotels on this trip to Europe and this hotel had by far the most comfortable […] bed, pillows etc. I definately would use this hotel again. Devamı

Great location, and very helpful staff. Room was a bit small but I guess that's central London for you. The hotel restaurant was excellent and not too pricey for what was on offer !

This hotel was wonderful! The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and recommended great restaurants in the area. We never had to use the underground, we felt that we were close enough to all the major sites and walked. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The softies St. James, London, is so ideally located specially to West End. The bed is the best in all the 5 stars I have stayed.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location. While the hotel is just a mere 2min away from Piccadilly, the hotel's location is nice and quiet, just steps away from St James' park. The hotel was very nice indeed - small rooms (not so unusual in London) but very comfortable and well appointed and a surprisingly large bathroom. Good location - walking distance to theaters, Big Ben, Picadilly, Trefalgar and also tube stations. Nice bar, Hermes toiletries, coffee system in room. Good value considering the high cost of London.
