Staff very friendly and helpful, room overall clean and comfy. I noticed just as I was going to sleep there were two tiny dried blood spots on the duvet cover. Also no supper served in the hotel. Hair dryer very weak as well. For the cab drivers, u have to tell them it's the former 18th century hotel.

All we had to do was walk a couple blocks and we were in the midst of great restaurants and galleries. The hotel was clean and the staff was great at answering all of our questions, including making several great dinner suggestions. The art throughout the hotel is wonderful, and worth a walk of the halls. The hotel was very quiet. It has a small lobby […] bar which we had heard was lively, but we actually never more than a couple people in there. Breakfast was good, but not spectacular. L Hotel is ideally located in Vieux Montreal between two metro stops. There are plenty of eating options nearby (try Le Cartet for breakfast) and it is close to the major tourist sites (check out the cool I am Montreal video at the archeology museum). My favorite part was the fine art everywhere in the hotel - the hallways, the lobby and your room. […] The staff is super friendly and we spent two delightful evenings in the hotel lobby bar talking with folks. I was there for a girls weekend in February. We booked a double room but got upgraded to connected rooms on the third floor which meant we each got our own bathroom - score! The rooms are on the smallish side but the ceilings are high so it doesn't feel cramped. Only downsides - You can hear every noise from the hallway which was only a problem at 3 am on a Saturday night or a mid-afternoon nap. Oddly enough, never heard any noise from the street. They don't have a full restaurant and the continental breakfast is only ok. And my TV never quiet worked right but that doesn’t matter with so much of Montreal at your feet. Devamı

Loved this hotel! In the heart of Old Montreal, excellent, friendly staff. Art everywhere, they even rotate it frequently so you always see something fresh. Great room, would go back in a heartbeat.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Our room was a good size, although our floor could use some maintenance. Hotel was in a great location.

Great location, great staff, fun hotel, good value. My only recommendation for this place would be Microwave and fridge in room or complimentary coffee in the lobby. Other than that a perfect 5 out of 5.

It was my first time in Montreal and I was travelling alone. Having done some research the L'Hotel came recommended by Tripadvisor and I booked it. I now understand why it was so highly recommended by Tripadvisor. Great location and super staff. The rooms are very large with high ceilings and are very comfortable. I stayed at the L'Hotel Montreal while attending a conference at the Palais des Congres. It was so conveniently located, there was free internet, and it was cheaper than the conference hotels. Plus it was charming, the room was comfortable and beautiful, and the staff was so attentive. I felt like such an honored guest!

WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE CLOSE TO ALL SHOPPING AND CLUBS. PERSONNEL WERE FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING AND THE SHOWER IN OUR JR. SUITE WAS A PLEASANT SUPRISE (HAVING ALL THE BELLS & WHISTLES THAT YOU WOULDN'T EXPECT)! $15 PP FOR A CROISSANT, COFFEE AND SCRAMBLED EGGS WAS A BIT MUCH THOUGH IN THE HOTEL COFFEE SHOP, SO WE WALKED A SHORT DISTANCE AND FOUND […] A SMALL BISTRO FOR A LOT LESS COST. Staff at hotel were exceptionally helpful but the facility looks very worn both in the rooms and in the public spaces. Oddly many pieces of art had been removed from the walls, there were stains on the carpets and the paint was very tired. Still, beds were comfortable and linens clean and crisp. We loved the hotel! The room was spacious and nicely decorated. And because of its great location we were able to see a lot of the sights on foot. The area is very nice and we always felt safe. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

LHotel was by far a worth while stay. From the Chagalls in the loby to the amazingly accomodating staff. The hotel is small and personal, and easy to find: with its orange awnings and well lit exterior. The location is wonderful, we could see Notre Dame from our window. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Several of us booked into this hotel for a week and it was just perfect. It gave the personal touch unlike the larger chain hotels. The rooms qwere large and very comfortable. It was right near the conference centre and a short walk for the old town. Perfect hotel we couldn't fault it. We were all very happy with our stay.

We could not have selected a finer place to stay for convenience, service, size of room and bathroom, comfort, and pure interest. It's gorgeous! The art in your room and hallways is amazing - like staying in an art museum. The hotel was just a few blocks from cafes, restaurants, attractions, the underground city, and the metro. Superb hotel experience. The location is perfect - very central but very quiet. The staff were extremely helpful, and the room was very nice. Huge ceilings! Highly recommended.

This hotel is well located in old Montreal, making it easy to walk around to all the sights. The service was exceptional - the parking attendants and bellmen, the bar service, the front desk - all were very helpful and prompt. We would definitely return here again.

Excellent Hotel with a reasonable Price. Very comfortable room with excellent beds and the overall decor of the hotel was pleasing and inviting. The staff was very helpful and eager to please. There is no coffee or tea making facility in the room, which we find a bit disappointing. The free filtered coffee provided by at the hotel lobby every morning isn't satisfactory. Most hotels in this category would provide good quality coffee/tea. The hotel is within a short walk to the Basilique and the old town. Great location, righ near Notre Dame and short walk to Old Port Montreal/Rue St. Paul. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms were nice. I would reccommend the continental breakfast at $10 per person (at initial registration time). Friendly, polite staff made our stay a pleasure. Continental breakfast with choices of fresh fruit and cheeses and great coffee. Large, quiet room could probably do with a king bed instead of a queen. Modern, clean bathroom. Restaurants and bistros nearby, and walking distance to the heart of Old Montreal, with all its attractions.

A well appointed hotel on the fringe of the Old Quarter at a competitive rate with Interesting shopping, cafes and subway within easy walking distance. Optional generous continental breakfast but no room service or on site restaurant for lunch or evenings. Staff helpful and generous room with furnishings and housekeeping of a high standard. An extra […] bedroom chair would have been useful. Original and highly valuable artwork decorate the common areas. We found hotel to be of excellent standard. We loved our 2 night stay here. The hotel is in the older area of Montreal in a perfect location. Hotel staff very helpful. Our room was an extremely spacious room and very comfortable. Bed was very cozy. Whilst staff was were very professional, they were extremely helpful and friendly.

Everyone of their personnel were curteous, pleasant, natural, accomodating with a relaxed sense of humor. LHotel was beautiful, and full of Art. The weekend brazilian music was perfect in the lobby setting. The room with the high ceilings was magnificent. The breakfast was light, elegant and perfect. I live here and bicycled down to stay the weekend. […] They stored my bicycle in an old vault. Cool. I was a tourist in my own city. I will do this again. It was well worth it. Devamı

Loved the location close to Notre Dame and the cruise dock. We walked our bags to the dock but take a cab if you have health problems. The staff was very helpful with several special requests we had. No complaints at all.

Room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. Wished there had been a ledge of some sort for toiletries in the bathroom, but that's really the only nitpicky thing.

Just got back from staying 3 nights at LHotel in Montreal. This a small elegant hotel located in the middle of old Montreal. The staff made our stay with our son and daughter and their spouses a great pleasure. The contemporary art work on the walls almost makes your stay worth the price. I'll go back.

THe LHotel was in the perfect location to walk to Notre Dame and the wharf. Fabulous restaurants and shopping minutes away-walking. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size for a family of four and very clean. Amazing art collection on display throughout hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel.It was the first time I stayed and for sure I will be stay other times in the future.Very good breakfast and the hotel service was very kind.

Fantastic service in every way. The art throughout the hotel made it feel like a personal gallery. Excellent location to everything in Old Montreal. Kids wanted to stay longer even without a pool!

This hotel met our expectations and much more! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and very nicely furnished. The bed was first rate! The location is near the old port area and only a couple of blocks from a metro station. In addition, LHotel houses an incredible art collection. We highly recommend LHotel!

This hotel is within walking distance of the major sights of Old Town. We received good service--the hotel personnel were eager to help. The hotel is not handicap accessible. There were several steps up to the front door and they carried my husband's scooter up and down the stairs for us.

A great find in old Montreal. Moderately priced (not cheap) but lots of old world charm mixed with lovely, large rooms and renovated bathrooms. Staff members were helpful and attentive. We would definitely return.
