We spent three nights at Hotel Villa Glori. Overall it was fine and almost worth it's stars. Although beds were extremely hard and there was no help for that even if I asked. The hotel is situated a couple of kilometres away from city center but for us it was okay. It was easy to reach the city with a tram + metros and due to it's quiet neighbourhood […] we heard no sound of traffic etc. The area had also good + priceworthy restaurants/pizzerias which were growded with locals - nice! Nice hotel not too far away from the city centre. Very friendly staff and everything worked fine.

I love how it's close by to the trams. Easy to reach the Metro station to get around the city. The rooms are small though. The elevator is so tiny we can barely fit our luggages in there. And on the day we're supposed to check out, the elevator died so we have to carry all our stuff from the stairs. The walls are thin and we can hear someone yelling […] and singing outside (we think it was someone who works there) There are also tiny stairs separating our room from the corridor which is weird. However, we love how breakfast is included in our stay. Overall, our stay there was average. Devamı

Reception staff were unhelpful and had a rude attitude.

This hotel is lovely. I wished it were closer into town but transportation was convenient. Great staff who were very helpful. I'd stay here again.

A lovely hotel, outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but only 5 minutes on the tram to the city centre. The rooms and hotel itself were spotless and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was good too. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends who are travelling to Rome soon.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Flaminio tram line, a kilometer from Plaza di Popolo. It is clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast buffet. There is a charge for wifi, but it is surprisingly well priced with a strong signal suitable for voice or video. There are a few restaurants nearby, but tourists from America or Asia may be surprised […] by the extent to which Rome shuts down during the summer months. On a weekend in August, there are few restaurants open within walking distance and no laundromats or convenience stores. The only downside to the hotel's comfort is that the rooms don't block out noise from the hallway, so light sleepers might be awakened by other guests outside the room, particularly in the early morning. Very good in all respects. Perhaps the bed was a bit hard for my taste, but all in all a very nice place a healthy walk from the city center. (Or a 1 euro ride on the tram.)

This hotel was superb, cannot fault it in any way. Decor charming, spotless, and very inviting. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Set in a quiet leafy suburb of Rome, yet minutes from the centre by a number 2 Tram. Highly reccommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

What a fabulous hotel located in a local area of Italy. A little far away from the tourist area, but located a half block from a tram depot. I just have to mention that the breakfast was off the hook!

There are no wired ports in the room or anywhere in the hotel for internet access and the WiFi is a joke, don’t bother paying for it. Poor reception, continual disconnections and very slow. It is 2011 people, get your internet figured out.

We stayed here twice, one night on our way to Naples and Florence and then two nights again to see Rome. In all the hotel was comfortable but did not seem to be a 4 star hotel as advertised. The pictures are a little deceiving because the hotel is actually very small. The first time we were given a room that was extremely small. There was barely room […] for luggage for two people. The second time we had a bigger room although we paid the same. The rooms were a little old fashioned. The breakfast was nothing special. The location was convenient to get in and out of. The tram station was within minutes that takes you to the metro station and you can reach all the attractions from there. Rome metro is pretty cheap and hotel desk has tickets. The staff was helpful and everyone including bell boys spoke english. The cab fare from airport was 50 euros but depending on luggage you can catch a train to main terminal and then use the metro and tram to get to the hotel. I think a 3 star rating might be better for this hotel but it was still pretty convenient. Devamı

The hotel looks much better in the photos. I didn't have such a bad experience but the couple from England certainly did who were looking for breakfast which had been running low. I had to change rooms at midnight since it was then that I discovered that the TV and air conditioner didn't work. Not a real problem. Front desk changed my room. The problem […] was the attitude of the front desk in the morning. While I was checking out the couple from England started. I was looking for only the slightest of favors for the inconvenience of changing rooms at midnight. I was told "but it wasn't an inconvenience." Yes, not a real problem in the world but that's some response. Breakfast was good - I got there early. And the breakfast staff was helpful. Get what you pay for - a tiny, tiny room. There is a tram that runs from piazza del popolo and stops on the hotel's street. Be sure to know the stop thought - easy to miss. BUT IT'S DEFINITELY NOT FOUR STAR. It's just that there are better options that are closer to the Vatican and Spanish Steps. Those closer hotels would certainly be more convenient. Devamı

Although not right in the middle of downtown, the location of the hotel is good - take Tram 2 from Flaminio metro station and get off from Pze Manila. The free shuttle to town is unreliable.

I wouldn't recommend anyone this hotel for just the above two reasonss...but on top they charged us city tax while it was supposed to be already paid through hotels.com (no other hotel in our trip charged us any additional). Not a good experience.

Hotel states 10 miles from airport but the taxi fair was 50 euro and was not ten miles. The rooms were tiny but clean. Bed was very hard, after a day sight seeing you want a nice bed to sleep in, so sleepless night not good. Also they dont stock an iron and ironing board, as it is too dangerous? Using the internet also is expensive.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Location was not bad. Not in the city center but close enough. Building was clean and taken care of. Great breakfast in display, assortment and quality. The room was tiny.

Great friendly staff, and relativley close to all attractions via tram. Small but very cosy and totally adequate rooms, and a very nice firendly atmosphere. Would definitley stay there again

This hotel exceeded all our expectations with service, amenities and comfort. The beautifully decorated room led to a cute patio area and the bathroom had heated towel rack! The entire staff was so helpful, assisting us with booking a taxi to the airport early the following morning and providing us with complimentary shuttle service to the city center/sights […] which is about a ten minutes car ride. Our stay here was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. Devamı

Receptionists were really helpful with city information and local's habits. Room was clean, and breakfast is outstanding. Even though breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am, sometimes you can get it afterward at no extra cost =). They have no iron in the room nor in the hotel.

The hotel was lovely and very classy. I liked that the hotel was out of the centre and the crowds. It was only 5 stops on the bus to the centre where you can get the open top bus all around Rome. The hotel was top class. The neighbourhood looks a little ropey, but it seemed quite safe when we were out for a mean. its just a bit 'down town'. The reception […] also sold bus and metro tickets. This hotel is beautiful, the staff is very helpful and the the room was great, as well as the breakfast the next morning. The hotel is on the outskirts of Rome, but you can take a bus right around the corner, or you can walk a couple of blocks down to the subway which can take you to the key places of beautiful Rome. I highly recommend this hotel!

our stay in the hotel was enjoyable. the location is perfect for rome. it is away from the noise of the center however it is still only a 5 min bus journey away from the center of rome. the staff our very friendly also. i would stay in this hotel again if i go back to rome.

Villa Glori was a great room for the price paid. It is about 15 minutes from Rome. We used the bus, which is an adventure, but that's what we were looking for.

Simply the finest hotel in Rome. Exceeds all expectations.

In a great neighborhood. We had to request the hotel to keep air conditioner on during the night. Staff not overly helpful. Price good for a Rome hotel.

Loved this hotel. Staff was extraordinarily friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nicely decorated rooms. Pretty baths with quite small, but functional showers -- just don't drop the soap. Really beautiful, generous breakfast. Convenient to public transportation. Close enough to attractions with added benefit of a great neighborhood. Would stay here […] again without question. For the price of the hotel, location, and up keep--this hotel is great. It does not stand out, really, in any area--good or bad. It is close to the bus stop which takes you to the metro so you can get to the center of Rome--so that can be kind of tricky, time consuming, and tiring--but again for the price, it's worth it. This hotel exceeded my wife's and my expectaions. At first it was a little hard to find but when we di it was worth it. The staff was great and the breakfast awesome. The hotel staff recomended a nice resturant about a 5 or 10 min walk up the road. It was great. The room was a little small but cozy with a jacuzzi tub big enough for my wife and I and […] the air conditioner even worked. There were plenty of clean towels as well. They even called a cab for us and it was there in 5 min. I would definately stay here again and I even recomended it my family. Devamı

I loved staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and they let us store our bags all day after we checked out so that we could go see more places before our train arrived.

Nydelig smagfuld indretning. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Upåklagelig rengøring. Morgenmaden lidt kedelig, og opfyldningen var mangelfuld . Aamiainen makeaa mahan täydeltä; muuten OK, joskin kahvi vain haaleaa. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja puhuivat hyvää englantia. Lähellä parikin oikein hyvää ruokapaikkaa, edullisia kauppoja, rauhallinen, ei meluhäiriöitä, patja turhan kova, siisti ja hyvin hoidettu.

Situato in una via privata esclusa al traffico è molto conforevole, ideale per un soggiorno nella capitale. La camera pur se piccolina è molto accogliente, ottima la pulizia e la cortesia del personale. Non c'è parcheggio privato ma l'hotel è convenzionato con un garage in zona; io sono arrivata di domenica e non ho avuto problemi a trovare parcheggio […] nei dintorni dell'hotel ( esistono zone blu e zone bianche) Buona la scelta per la colazione. Vi trivdes godt på dette hotellet, som ligger i et område hvor romerne selv bor. Hotellet ligger i en rolig gate og vi sov godt med åpne vindu. Personalet var hyggelige og behjelpelige.

Ottima accoglienza,molto vicino al Parco della Musica e centro raggiungibile velocemente.Colazione ottima e abbondante

Servizio di colazione piuttosto scadente visto le 4 stelle!!!!

Ottimo rapporto qualità -prezzo, personale a dir poco eccellente e preparato,pulizia perfetta e accurata e non per ultimo ottima colazione a buffet.Unico appunto la stanza a me assegnata abbastanza piccola ma dopotutto io in hotel vado solo a dormire quindi è abbastanza trascurabile.

L'hotel è situato in una posizione centrale e ben servito. Non ha però un parcheggio proprio per le auto. Le camere sono troppo piccole per un 4 stelle e visto il prezzo molti servizi come la connessione a Internet dovrebbero essere gratuiti e non a pagamento.

Det var herlig å sove foran åpent vindu og så var det helt stille. Ikke til å tro at vi var i en millionby. det er verdt å ta trikken 4 stopp for å bo på Villa Glori ! Alt var helt superbra, savnet kun badekar og grovt brød :)

Det viktigste først: Hotellet er helt ok, og funker fint for en helg. Rommet vårt var lite men rent. Litt for hard seng etter vår smak, men greitt likevel. Området rundt er veldig stille, og det ligger en pizzarestaurant rett over gata. Fant ingen matbutikker i nærheten, dog en fruktbutikk og en liten coop med noen varer rett over gata. Hotellet […] ligger et lite stykke fra sentrum, men trikken går 100m unna, så det er uproblematisk. For å komme deg fra termini (sentralstasjonen), gå rett ned på metro linje A og dra til Flaminio. Rett utenfor metroen her går trikk 2 mot hotellet, 4. stoppet fra Flaminio (Flaminio er endestopp). Kjøp 3-dagerspass e.l. Det er helt OK trådløst nett på hotellet, koster seks euro. Hvis du husker å logge av vil du kunne bruke det i 48t. Ellers tar de seks euro for en times lån av datamaskin med nett. Frokosten var grei nok, hygienisk, rundstykker og loff, skinke, salami og ost. Gratis cappuchino/espresso om du spør. Hotellet er definitivt ikke 4 stjerner, men mer enn greit nok for ei helg. Kunne godt bodd her igjen. Devamı

Ett mycket trevligt hotell med mycket bra läge, tre min fr centrum med spårvagnen som hade hållplats precis utanför.
