I enjoyed the convenience of this hotel. The vending machines, and the comfort, the pool and I really had fun

The McCarran Inn is situated in a perfect location close to the airport with transport both to and from the airport and the Strip. The hotel is very comfortable with good sized rooms and facilities. The staff are professional, efficient and friendly. All in all a great place to stay - we'll be back!

I booked a room the same day and the only negative I have about my stay was that 2 girls stole the cab I was waiting for. That of course was not an issue or a negative for BW. I especially liked the fact that I could use the computer in the lobby and also print out my boarding pass - for free. Great stay. Thank you BW.

Cons: online pictures were decieving. The rooms did not look like the ones in the picture. Needs to have a mini fridge. The halls/elevators and doors/roomkey lock were outdated. Location is on a one way near a cross section so it was difficult to find sometimes. The location is very convinient if you need to quick access to the airport. Free shuttle with drop off and pick up.. Staff is outstanding!!

Spot-on place to stay the night before a flight. More or less at end of runway, but no plane noise. Motel type, but rooms big enough, hotel mini-bus to/from airport every half hour, and to MGM Grand in evening, 2 km away. Very adequate continental breakfast from 6.00 in morning. The hotel was fine. Room was a little small, but was very clean. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues.

The Best WEstern in LAs Vegas was a very pleasant surprise for the low price - the rooms were clean with comfy beds, the breakfast was free and delicious, the service was very helpful, and the hotel provided free shuttle services to and from the airport, to the strip, and the MGM hotel. This hotel was nothing fancy, but its location to the airport is fabulous. The room featured a great bed, 32 inch flatscreen tv and a strong wifi signal. The only complaint I had was with the airport shuttle. The first one leaves at 5AM. I had a 6 AM flight. But, the proximity to the airport convinced me to use the 5 AM shuttle. This hotel is outside the airport. Almost part of it actually. I liked the location to the airport but not much nearby. Shuttle to MGM helped me get around. I had some trouble with internet access. Breakfast was carbs and boiled eggs. Coffee okay but included. It's okay for short stays I think.

Very small but close to Airport. Shuttles to the Strip and Airport. Star rating should be 2 or 2.5 but not 3.

This hotel is in a very convenient location for an overnight stay while in Vegas. There is not much around the hotel in the way of entertainment or food. The continental breakfast is good and the shuttle to and from the airport is very handy.

My wife and I use this hotel whenever we fly out of town since we live 2 hours away from Las Vegas. We stay here the night before we leave and the day we return. Very nice clean hotel. Complimentary airport shuttle was a major influence in choosing this property. The continental breakfast is great with lots of offerings to meet anyone's needs/desires. […] The only downside is there are no restaurants within walking distance. I was extremely upset when I booked a smoking room to find out that this hotel didn't have any smoking rooms which was stated on Hotels.com. Please don't advertise something if it's not the truth. Thanks,

Closest hotel to airport. Shuttle arrived quickly. Check-in process went smoothly. Nice, helpful staff. Next morning, Barbara was very helpful in explaining how to pick up an airport rental car, how to use BW shuttle to get to The Strip, and how to get around the Strip. She also took the time to show us the best way to get to Rocco's Deli, an outstanding […] place for sandwiches and Italian treats. The hotel is older but clean and well maintained. I'm not complaining considering my reservations were during NAB. We had booked a 2 bed queen suite and when we arrived to check in they had overbooked. They made it right by giving us 2 rooms for us. Very pleased with the service and amenities considering it's off the strip but close enough to not be sketchy.

I had A really Bad Experience in this Hotel in Vegas . At 7:00 they were woking in the Pool and making alot of noice I could not Sleep any more. I got Transfer to another Room and did not had HOT Water I could not shower .

For price paid, it was adequate accomodations. I was just looking for a place to sleep for the night prior to my flight the next day. The air traffic was a little noisy until 1 a.m. and then started again at 6 a.m. No frills. Fine for what I was looking for. during booking, only thing I was warned about was the noise from proximity to airport...well...that was the least of our concerns...our room was extremely small, no microwave a/o fridge...even worse, pool was non-operational, filled with trash and muddy water...gross! It was convenient but unclean. The window didn't totally shut. I just felt like I couldn't touch anything. It was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed.

I didn't realize that the hotel was literally right next to the airport. At night you hear the planes fly right above the hotel as you try to sleep. Not only that but the walls/doors are paper thin. I would suggest earplugs if you absolutely plan to stay here. The beds were new with down-alternative comforters/pillows and much more comfortable then […] anticipated. The hotel was slightly upgraded in the room and lobby but was definitely still run down. The room itself wasn't as clean as I wanted. Breakfast was mediocre with moldy pastries. A light fixture had to be replaced but was happy that the hotel staff was quick about the fix. You would not want to walk to the strip because of the airport and the neighborhood. It's about a 7-10 min drive to the strip because of the one way on Tropicana. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel unless you were desperate for a cheap rate. Overall, what I expected for the description and the price. My biggest problem was that they advertise this as an airport hotel, with a free shuttle. But many planes come in after 11, and the shuttle doesn't run then, so it's a $10 taxi ride. So if you are arriving late, add $20 to the cost and maybe you'll choose another hotel. no internet for 5 days.. people at desk lie and say every few hours but never works...

NO internet for 3 days, you call down and they will say in a few hours which they lied for 3 days. No hot water 2 days but besides that its good hotel.

The hotel was very noisy at night. My family was on 1st floor. I couldn't sleep well most of the night. Not very impressed at all. There were not enough amenities in the room . We had to ask for tea bags and soap. The Iron did not work well .

The hotel Best Western 4970 Mccarran INN in Las Vegas, for me is the most ideal location close proximity to the airport easy acess with the bus for where i want to go and even to downtown, for me this is quite ok.

The agents on the phone were rude and they messed up the whole reservation. When I got to the hotel, the clerk was just as unhelpful and rude as the woman I spoke to on the phone. Not only would they not let me finish a sentence without interruption, they didn't want to fix their own mistake. It was late at night when we finally we able to check into […] the hotel and the last thing we needed was a rude clerk trying to tell me that we had no rooms because of someone else's mistake. I was very disappointed in this hotel and would never book there again. Our room floor was filthy. Our socks were dirty from the rug, and the bathroom floor actually had black dirt caked into the tile, except where people walked. This was the first time I left a hotel room and felt like I needed another shower, and all my clothes washed. The room was […] also noisy, since we were put near the front desk and heard the breakfast preparation early in the morning. At the breakfast bar, the cereal was stale and the milk was luke warm. If you need to stay near the airport and off the Strip, this is a great option. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and the wireless is fast enough to do work (if you need it). The airport shuttle is very convenient. The breakfast was the "usual" (cereal, juice machine, toast, make your own waffles).

We had a 6:30 a.m. departure scheduled for McClarran. This hotel was very close. Due to the shuttle service (reliable), we were able to turn the rental car back a day early and save some $$. The hotel provided shuttle service to the MGM Grand for the evening entertainment on the strip. I had an early flight out of town and had to drive in the night before. I left my car at the hotel for the duration of my time out of town and came back with a ride of the provided shuttle from the airport. It was just what I needed at a great price. I will definately be doing it again.

Room was comfortable, breakfast was ok. Serving space was very crowded. Hard to get in, hard to get out due to narrow room. Selection was limited. Nice pool and patio area. Good airport transportation.
