Homestead Boston Marlborough - Marlborough

I enjoyed it.

The door to the closet was off the hinges and wedged so that it might fall. Beds were very hard and the pillows just as bad. No hair dryer in the room. Neighborhood consists of a bank and gas stations -- so scenic (not!). Would stay at other places at a cheaper price.

We have had multiple less than acceptable experiences with this hotel but the last one is by far at the top of this list. We do events down the street at the NESC and out of necessitie have had to get rooms for our employees at the last minute. This has left us with the homestead being the only one close enough to drive and after this experience we […] will make the 20-30 min. Drive from a better hotel. When we checked in there seemed to be no issue but when trying I get in bed we realized that the sleeper sofa was still full of baby toys and food from a previous guest, we chose to ignore this because it was 12am and we had to get up at 5am for work again but half way through the night while we slept the bed collapsed on 3 sides. We contacted the front desk and while speaking with the night rep he shrugged his shoulders and said he would have to take care of it in the morning. This is not how you treat customers. if your in this area a must see is the art museum its 5 stories tall and a great place to discover new things, also about 8 miles away is the istorical longfellows wayside inn, this place has great sunday price fix lunch and dinner 20.95 one could try a three course meal of yummy yankee food from the selective menue. this inn also has a grist mill where […] they produce there own flower and baked goods also in spring, summer, and fall you can take a tour of the mill. Bathroom dirty. Room smelled of food odor. Kitchen coffee maker and utensils not cleaned. Pillows lumpy.

-Nice place to staying in. Friendly personnel and good service. Hotel has great access. Room was clean and coxy. Full kitcken with all appliances (including stove top, fridge, microwave, toster and coffe maker). Great detail.

Although I often stay in "Extended Stay" hotels, I've never met one where daily room service (including, at a minimum, making the bed and taking out the trash) is an upcharge... it is at the Homestead Boston Marlborough. The bed was about as comfortable as a marble slab. The walls picked up unwanted sounds from both other rooms and the outside world. […] The air conditioning unit in the room was woefully inadequate, and the condenser froze in the middle of the night, resulting in an uncomfortable room temperature in the upper 70's. I saw exactly one hotel employee the entire time of my visit (and the *same* employee, at that...) Never again... ever. Devamı

The price and the accommodations were fine. There were two issues: 1. The distance from my desired location was advertised as 23 miles. It turned out to be 33 miles! 2. We reserved a non-smoking room. It turned out to smell heavily of cigarettes (or perhaps something else equally bad).

Room was spacey enough. Small kitchen area but plenty big for a traveler. Rooms had a slight smell, but I rarely enjoy the smell of any hotel room. Just grab some air freshener and you're good.

Rooms were pretty worn out. Ripped furniture, chipped and stained counters and disgusting carpets were there. No frills. There were no ironing boards (could have used it) and no toiletriess. Pretty cheap rate though and the staff was very friendly.

extended stay meets all needs, but general impression is seedy and barren. Strictly a consideration on price.

The hotel is simple - no frills. However it was a great price; all we really needed was a place to sleep. Our room was comfortable and clean. There was a full size kitchen which would be very handy if someone were staying several days.

Bathroom, esp. tub, dirty, mildew. Drinking glasses dirty, one still filled with water from previous occupant

It was cheap and very close to our destination. There were no plastic glasses in the bathroom and no dish soap in the kitchen so it made us a little nervous to use the glasses from the kitchen. Other than that it was fine.

Significantly cheaper than other hotels in the area during peak season, my wife and I were very pleased with the hotel. It is older and does not have anything fancy, but was clean with a friendly staff that met all of our needs. Easy access to I-495.

Check in was quick and efficient. Room was very clean. The kitchenette was convenient even though I didn't need to use it. It came with clean pots, pans, dishes and silverware. The only small problems I had was that we couldn't get the room at a comfortable temperature it was either too hot or too cold and the other small problem was the toilet was […] hard to flush and when it did flush it sounded like it was about to blow up. They were very knowledgeable about the area and most helpful. Easy check in and check out.

Hotel was nice. Elevators are really slow though. It was a no smoking room but when you walked in, it definately smelled like at one point it was a smoking room.

Homestead was good, though other Extended Stay locations are nicer and less expensive. The place was rather hard to find because it is not readily visible from the street. The hotel is in a nice area, close to shopping and key software employer sites.
