Grant Plaza Hotel - San Francisco

2011 Ağustos ayında SFO'da Grant Plaza Hotel'de kaldım. Otelin konumu inanılmaz iyi, heryere çok yakın, ChinaTown'un dibinde ve Union Square'e 5 dakika mesafede. Oda ufak ama banyosu geniş, her zaman sıcak su var, oda temizliği iyi, personel inanılmaz güleryüzlü. Aileler içinde uygun, bu fiyata inanılmaz uygun bir hotel. Şiddetle tavsiye ederim.

Almost want to change hotels once I got to the room. Room noth worth the price Smelly and after room was cleaned, found a sock on the floor. Hair inside the pillow case. Tv has 2 vertical lines on the middle of the screen. Bed spreads are old.The bathroom though small was clean. The only + at this hotel is its location. Service of front desk and maid was very helpful and pleasent to talk to. Room was very clean,small but nice. The beds were very compfortable. The location was nice, other than the steep hill to get to the place. Beyond that I recommend it. I'll stay there again.

The hotel is quite old and there was a strange smell in the room that didn't go away even keeping the window open all the day along. I asked if they can solve the problem and I only got some air spray whose effect last few minutes.

It is quite Ok hotel and have decent prices. Its right downtown next to China town gate so it's really close to anything you need. Pleople working there are polite and helpful.

This hotel was very convenient to the locatons in the Financial Distrinct I needed to visit. The staff was extremely helpful for checkin and chekout. The restaurant was surprisingly excellent -- and affordable.

The location of this hotel is terrific for the price. There was some construction/renovation, so good news for future stays. The walls are paper thin, so we could hear TVs from other surrounding rooms clearly. Also the floors are very squeaky. The room is small, but we spent most of the time out. Quaint little hotel just inside of Chinatown but very close to Union Square. Room was small but from all the other reviews I fully expected it. The bed was hard but besides that, it was nice. This isn't the Ritz Carlton. However, for a weekend tourist trip to San Francisco, this is a fun hotel. The room was clean & had a great shower. It's located 1-block north of the Chinatown gate on Grant Street. Public transportation is convenient. There is a cable car line 2-blocks away on California Street to get you to all the tourist stuff. Market […] Street is a quick walk to get to all the busses and F-Trains. If you like to stay right at chinatown in San Francisco, consider this hotel. Chinese restaurants that my wife love to eat and bakeries were a block away. My conference was only 0.5 mile away. Great location, you feel safe here, and close to everything, 2 min to union square and 15 min walk to fishermans warf! The staff are really friendly. Nice exterior, lobby, elevator and staff. Otherwise a 1 Star hotel in all respects.

The hotel was in a great location! And the workers were sooo nice! They helped us with everything! The rooms were small but clean! The hotel is in Chinatown, and around it there are lots of small shops with interesting items. The room was small, but the bathroom was large, and there was a nice window to a courtyard. Although the floors are squeaky, the elevator is bumpy, I felt cozy and safe. It was nice to be find lots of places to eat and shop right outside of the hotel.

Staff was nice, very small lobby with a fake fireplace. Located in good location in China Town. Smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in! Room and shower were clean.

I checked in late this evening and couldn't wait to get to my room to relax only to find that my room practically looks like an old janitor's closet. It looks absolutely nothing like the pictures posted in room details. The room minus the bathroom is less than 13' x 9', (>130 sq. ft.) and the walls are covered in cracks and patches. It looks like a […] prison cell. There is no temperature control in the room, so I have to open the window onto a loud alley with cars and music. seriously, how can someone use this space for a room? I know being in SF, I'll spend a lot of time outside, but this hotel should take more pride in its service. Either make these highly discounted rooms or don't use them as such. The room is clean though and staff is friendly at least. I've been to SF several times before and love to side trip here on my work travels; however, if there is a chance that I could rebook this hotel and possibly get one of these rooms again, then I will most definitely be staying somewhere else. Good rate, good cleanliness of basic standard of the room. No breakfast service but should have allowed Room coffee and Tea making facility, as this is not there at the moment. Should allow to use the internet in the common area free of charge, if giving free wifi access in the room. Person not having a computer cant use the internet even for 5-10min […] unless paying $5, why? They should allow at least 15min of free internet access even if using the hotel computer system, making it guest friendly hotel. Grant Plaza Hotel is in a great location. You can't beat the convenience. It is wonderful for walking or catching public transit. The hotel itself is clean and safe. It certainly is not an upscale hotel- more like an roomier hostel. As a female I felt completely at ease staying there and walking around the neighborhood in the evening. The location was great. We did not rent a car and public transportation was very close and easy to navigate. The room was very small, but very clean. The room size was not an issue for us as we were out and about in the city most of the time. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. My only complaint was the pillows. Bad service! Elevator was not working for a few days. Staying at the 4th floor with 2 luggages and a disability, this presented a problem. No porter even to help.

Clean, simple room. The building's a little older but it is well kept. A lot of other reviews mentioned noise, my room was on Grant and I didn't have any noise issues. The bed had a hole in the middle, there were two condoms wrapers under the bed, nasty!!! Locations is awesome if on a budget and are willing to put up with this, but if you can find or affoerd something better in the area, go elsewhere.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of all touristic activity. It is simple, rooms are small, not expensive for san francisco. We were happy with our stay and we will book again if we come back. If u care about a luxurious stay this is not the place though. If u spend most of the time out , then u should book here.

In Chinatown convenient to financial area and Union Square. Good no frills low frills for the money. No iron in room. Fantastic high pressure shower cube. Desk provided good authentic restaurant. Neighborhood safe. For the money, ok hotel.

The cheapest hotel in terms of price in the entire city! Great central location to everything, in the heart of Chinatown. We were only in the room to sleep, which is exactly what we wanted. Would definitely stay there again.

No AC, street noise and noise from other rooms. Fan would be nice to cover the noise.

This place has a great staff - very professional. They take care of problems quickly and happily. They make their guests feel welcome. They go that extra inch at every opportunity. I would stay there every time.

Good location and friendly employees. But I thought the room is not very clean, especially the floor of bathroom(the hotel just looks old). And the centralized heating system actually gave us lots of troubles. Customers cannot control their room temperature... But thanks so much for borrowing us a portable heater.

I stayed 2 days here on a road trip up north. I thought location and price was good. The hotel has no parking garage on site, and drop off of the bags where tough because of the busy location. It was just me in the room and that was probably a good thing, it was small all around. the shower the bathroom and living area. this is a room if ur going to […] be out and about and not trying to stay in. my room was facing out to the main road which was loud all the time of day and night. Place was cool because it was right after you walk through the entrance or gate thingy that leads into China town so that was a good marker that i was gonna be getting to the hotel soon after spending the the walking the city. The hotel was not luxurious but was adequate, at a price far below others in or near downtown San Francisco. As some other reviews suggested, the room was small, and the hotel is old. But the service was adequate, the room was clean and comfortable, and contrary to one hysterical review I read, there was no sign of bugs nor any other problems with the […] room. The shower head was a little low for my 6 feet tall self, but there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. It is one block into Chinatown, which is an interesting location. If you're walking downtown like me, one thing to keep in mind is that the block leading to the hotel is a fairly steep uphill walk. On the whole, it is a bargain. If you're looking for luxury and willing to pay for it, you'll probably want to look elsewhere. But if you're looking for an affordable room that meets the basic needs of an economizing traveler, this is a good one. Unless I get considerably richer in the intervening time, I will plan to stay there again on my next trip to downtown San Francisco. Devamı
