Hotel Albatroz - Cascais

Hotel is perfectly located and the room with balcony overlooked the sea and harbour. Service was outstanding and food was exceptionally good.Very relaxing atmosphere.

Wonderful little gem sitting at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Small, cozy, quiet, right on the beach, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and night life. Ultra clean and comfortable. One small negative: the shower in our room (we had an inside room, city view) was very tight and uncomfortable. But the bathroom was beautifully appointed, […] with marble counters and excellent fittings (it is great to have a bidet!) Great breakfast buffet, wonderful, courteous service. Fully recommend. Great location - so close to the train and bus station. Fabulous views from rooms and restaurant. Good service. Only let down was that it could do with a bit of maintenance to warrant the 5 star price including upgrading the hotel computers!

Great location, on beach, close to all bars and restaurants. Attentive and friendly staff. Restaurant is also good although too many waiters for number of guests so too much attention!.

We could not have been more happy about our stay at the Albatroz. We wanted a relaxing get away to the beach during our three week stay in Lisboa. The Albatroz was a great choice as it is situated right on the beach, and has a pool area and restaurant with a terrace, both overlooking the sea. We came from Madrid to spend one night in Portugal. We had no idea what town to visit let alone what hotel. On the advise of someone, they said to visit Cascais. So in reviewing hotels through Hotels.com I kept coming back to this hotel and finally decided to book the room here. I'm so glad we did. First the staff was fabulous when we checked in. We […] arrived around 10:00 a.m. and they were able to accomodate our early arrival with a room. The Bellman then gave us a short tour of the facilities and then brought us to our room. I booked a ocean front room and we were presented with probably the nicest room I have ever stayed in. Plus the beautiful view and deck over looking the ocean was a dream. I don't know if we were up-graded due to our early arrival or not, but this room was spectacular. The bed was super comfy and luxurious, the bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub with both a toilet and bidet, a huge cloest with drawers. They provided lovely bathrobes and an umbrella in the room. Later in the day we came down to inquire about a tour or where we could go. Since we had no transportation or none arranged, they suggested a private tour with our personal driver. They set it all up for us and it was perfect. Since we were limited with our time, our driver took us to Sintra for several hours as well as several stops along the way back at various tourist attractions. The breakfast was buffet was average, but with a friendly staff and beautiful view. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. I kept saying to my daughter that "I love our hotel and I'm so glad it's the one I went with". The location was perfect. The heart of Cascais is right there with everything in walking distance. Shopping, Mall, restaurants and the beach. The town even offers FREE!! bikes to use. Again, not only was this a beautiful hotel with luxery accomodations, but the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. You will not go wrong in choosing this hotel. Devamı

Maravillosamente enclavado,con vistas espectaculares, pequeña playa privada.Muy buena cocina.Habitaciones amplias.Centrico.Personal muy amable.Solo para mi fue negativo que no tuviesen conectada en la antena parabolica, ninguna emisora de television en español, ni siquiera la internacional, cuando si que podias ver de otros paises europeos.Y me sorprende […] cuando segun me dijeron, fundamentalmente tienen turistas españoles y brasileños.Aun asi lo recomiendo a todos los que visiten Cascais. Hotellet yder dejlig service, beliggenheden er skøn og prisen overkommelig..

Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet, ved stranden, nær gågatene i gamlebyen med butikker og restauranter og nær jernbanestasjonen. Det var en rolig og god atmosfære der. Rent og pent overalt. Frokost og annen mat vi som kjøpte var meget god. Vi fikk gode tips om utflukter. Anbefales!

Dejligt hotel hvor alt er perfekt og med en fantastisk service hvor alt bliver gjort uden man mærker det. Morgenmad, middag, bar, m.v alt var perfekt. Fine udendørs terrasser. Stedet er meget skønt og smukt. Man kommer til at holde af området. Endvidere kommer man hurtigt til Lissabon med toget, der går hvert 20. min. såfremt man ønsker at bruge en […] dag der. Devamı
