Reasonable Value For Money

Ray at the front desk was a delight to deal with. Rooms were clean, good location just off the beaten path. We found the walls to be a bit thin, toilets appear to be pressure assisted and they were loud, though something to be thankful for, a toilet that flushes well the first time. Beds could have been a bit more comfy. Will stay again.

The hotel was clean and functional. We were looking for a place to spend the night after a long drive up the coast, this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. It was a nice surprise to be able to see the ocean the next morning when we got up!

In PG for a wedding and this was the perfect location between the ceremony and the reception. Nice older hotel, room smelled a little "closed up" when first in but window open for a while freshened it up. Bed was clean and comfortable. On the service, my wife spilled a cup of coffee in the am and the day shift counter girl was a little short with her […] when she had to help cleanup. Devamı

Very clean, neat,quiet. Owners very friendly. Recently remodeled, tile counters, nicw tiled bathroom. Frig & micmicrowave handy. Walking distance to Monarch Butterfly Sancturary.

Due to the age and construction of this hotel, guests who stay on the first level will endure the constant sound of footsteps and creaking of the floor above with every single step made by the guest(s) above. If they roll over in bed during the night---you will hear the resulting creaking in your room. The guests above us, although fairly quiet, did […] not go to bed until after 2:00 am and we listened to their footsteps and ceiling creaks until my husband finally went up there at 2:00 am to ask them to stop walking around. Stayed here with my family. It was an older style motel room (it had a gas fired wall heater typical in late 50's homes) and it's layout was different compared to a more modern room. The room was nice and clean, but it did have old room issues such as the bathroom floor not being level. It did have an ocean view, but it was out the back window or bathroom […] window. All that being said, for the price this was a great deal for a place to crash at the end of the day and close to where we needed to be in Monterey. Devamı

Good location and very bright room. Overflow in sink could use some bleach. Friendly hosts. Good value for money.

Good location and good hotel for the price.

It is a tpyical no frills motel in a quite area within walking distance (if you like walking) to the ocean and downtown Pacific Grove. Very accomodating... Asked for king size bed on second floor for view and not having anyone above us. Was told when I got there that there are no kings on second floor. I was given a choice and when I oped for the first […] floor and the king size bed the made sure (since it was a slow day) that no one had the room above us. Devamı

This hotel is very sweet and simple. Staff was helpful. The only problem were the occupants in the room directly over our room on the 2nd floor. Often if felt and sounded as though there was a basketball game taking place above us.

It's about 15 minute drive to Cannery Row, the closest food area seemed to be in Cannery Row too. Breakfast is just help yourself toast or dry pastries.

It is a decent hotel.not near anything but sometimes that is better. In this case, more better!

Don't come for the continental breakfast. Come for the quiet, nicely furnished, well kept rooms. Simply awesome! Decor was very nice. Rooms were clean and more importantly very quiet. Plan to have breakfast at one of the local hotspots (not Holly's Lighthouse, by the way, that place was highly recommended and was terrible!). We will certainly return […] to this hotel. VERY NICE! Hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable and we could see a little of the ocean from our room. Loved the neighborhood, saw deer eating in the field across the street. Would stay there again. It was convenient enough to Cannery Row.

The stay was overall very positive - the one thing that they misadvertised was 'ocean view'. Otherwise it was close to the ocean and quiet.

Woefully lacking in comfort - "taco" bed, cold floors, weak heating for a cold night. "Continental breakfast," was about as least of stuff as one can get away with. Proprietors are nice enough but no real engagement or interest in you that you could tell. They did take care of problems quickly when asked. Just not what it was put out to be.

The best thing about the hotel was the location. The hotel was nestled in a quiet neighborhood and we had an ocean view from our 2nd story room. The bathroom was nicely updated and the room was simple but perfect. If you are looking for a quick getaway and a place to spend the night this is it. Close drive to downtown with plenty of cafes. It was fine for the price, but it was not a real Clarion Hotel, it just carried the name to attract people.

We couldn't close the window all the way because the wind whistled through it, and the air conditioner was so noisy. Also tons of street noise!..Staff was friendly, helpful, but that didn't make up for the aged conditions.

Our stay was really good. We had deer walk by the hotel in the morning and watched squirels play in the trees. The hotel in located close to everything with great resturants close by. The room was very quiet and clean and comfortable. We will be staying there when we come back. Dave

Bed medium soft like I like it. Nice hot heater, not blowing. Very hot water available. Roomy and clean. Thin walls but not much traffic. Although non-smoking room, in the past it must have been, so if not aired out all the time, some stale odor left. Friendly helpful personnel. Safe neighborhood.

Udmærket standardhotel, roligt beliggende. Morgenmaden bestod af sparsomt udvalg af toastbrød og kun 2 siddepladser indenfor, resten på overdækket terrasse, som var noget kølig (14 gr.) i september måned.

Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung, hatte aber mit "Deluxe" überhaupt nichts am Hut. Ganz allgemein handelt es sich um ein bereits in die Jahre gekommenes Motel der einfacheren Art. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auf das leider häufig anzutreffende Minimum mit Kuchen & Co reduziert. Auch wenn es eine Nächtigung an einem Samstag im Juli war - das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis […] finde ich vollkommen inakzeptabel. Devamı

Hotellet i seg selv er det ikke noe galt med, et typisk amerikansk motell egentlig. Men det blir litt langt unna sentrum, man er nødt til å kjøre til alt. Frokosten er ikke noe å skryte av, vi dro et annet sted for frokost.
