This was the nastiest hotel Ive ever been in! The halls smelled like stale cigars and the rooms weren't much better. Carpet and furniture were filthy. The bedspread was nasty and did not look like it had ever been washed. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow. Beds were hard and very uncomfortable. Towels were the size of a hand towel and only two […] towels were in the room. I would have walked out of this hotel if there were any other rooms available in Austin. Thank goodness we had a full day and evening planned and only had to spend a small amount of time in this place. A lot of people were just hanging out around the hotel, I think most people must live there. Windows were open on some floors with box fans in the window. Stay away from this place! Devamı

I would not stay here again. I have pretty low standards when it comes to a crash pad for SxSW weekend, but this was below them. Half of my "clean" towels had dirty hand prints or makeup stains on them, which makes me think they don't use bleach. The room smelled moldy. The springs in the mattress were all shot and I think they tried to wash the pillows […] because they were deformed and lumpy. The full kitchen was nice, but I worry about the cleanliness of everything. The desk staff was pretty indifferent and there is not a housekeeping service so, your already dirty towels wont get changed, which I didn't know when I booked. The parking lot was half empty during SxSW weekend, which should tell you something. Devamı

i stayed for three days and not once was my bed made or trash taken out or new towels brought in. i was very displeased with the overall stay.

We had 2 really thin pillows - we asked for 2 more which never appeared in spite of going to front desk 3 times. Remote for TV did not function and they could not provide a functioning replacement. So service was a negative if you needed anything working. It was quiet. There were few extras.

The bed was terrible. I tossed and turn all night. Could hear people in the next room opening the drawers and slamming the cabinets. Tried to keep the fan on the AC so I wouldn't hear the people next door but it kept turning off. I couldn't wait to leave the place in the morning. Find another place to stay.

hallway smelled smoky and broken glass in front of elevator. room was fine and good size for myself. remote for tv would not power on/off tv but channel and volumn worked, strange. shower needs more power but plenty of hot water. like the fridge and kitchen area. card keys were tempermental and had to go two new ones on my last morning but staff was […] fine. didnt realize that maid service was not available if stayed more than one night, at least thats what i think since bed and trash not emptied after my first night.all in all for the rate i would stay again. We were in the first floor-the noise above us on the second floor was so noisy we couldn't sleep-my husband went down at 12:00am to report the noise and a lady called them and it only lasted 5 min. and they got noisy again. My husband has COPD and really needed some sleep -but it didn't happen. I slept 2 hours! We had to drive back to Mabank,Tx on Nov. […] 11 and it was a tough drive when you don't get any sleep. It was a very pleasant stay overnight. Bathroom was very roomy and had big fluffy towels. The beds were very comforterable. All and all a very nice stay.

Never stayed in a place so dirty and poorly maintained. Locks & doorknobs falling off exterior doors; Sagging doors & sashes; Clumps of hair in bed, on furniture, in bath; carpet filthy; bedspread was nasty; drips and stains on sinks, floors and refer; a layer of dust on caulk joints made by a completely unprofessional maintenance staff.

We stayed one night passing through thinking we'd stay again on the way back but after seeing the hair and stains on the sheets and being unsure of our safety we changed our plans. Staff was friendly and accomidating price was good and is in a great location.

Beds were poor quality. Rooms very outdated. Would recommend for fishing trip buddies...would not recommend for wife and kids.

I didn't like it at all the chair in the room we were in waas dirty did not dare to sit in it. The room had a horrible smell had no idea what it was. Will Not stay at this hotel again.

You get what you pay for... It was like staying in a section 8 housing development. The hotel itself was unkept, smelled like standing water/mildew and seemingly attracting less than desirebale clientel. The carpets were gross, the elevator barely took us to the third floor, the room was dusty and there was "body hair" left in the tub. The hotel was clean and our room was well maintained, but the hallways have small air conditioners set up in about 50 yards apart. 2 in our hallway were making a thumping and grinding noise. Our room had clean bedding, clean bathroom and the kitchen was spotless the only area that looked dirty was the elevator. **WARNING** when headed to the hotel pay […] close attention because it isnt easy to see until you are passing it. The staff was pretty amazing. As far as the hotel, the outside looked pretty nice. The inside, beginning with the carpet, was smelly and old. The tub wouldn't drain, the towel rack was broken, the lights were dim which made the place look even more dirty, the bathroom floor had a stain, which made it looked dirty, the kitchenette looked descent.

I stayed on a TU football weekend. Several hotels were sold out and it seemed the others were more expensive than normal. I was suspicious because this hotel was $30 to $40 cheaper than my usual hotels. However, I had no issues whatsoever. The staff was friendly. I was there for two nights and it served my purpose. It was easy to get downtown via hwy […] 1 (Mopac) without having to get on the parking lot known as I-35. The fridge was cold, the a/c was comfortable after I set it to my liking. I didn't try the stove. It needed a little touchup on some of the paint but it wasn't bad. It needs sheers on the windows if you pull back the curtains. Oh my, where to begin....OK the staff was very nice, and the exterior looks nice. Even the hallways, elevator, were fine. But the room...it was one of those experiences where you walk in and you know instantly you want OUT. It was just plain dirty. The bed sits really low to the floor and is hard and uncomfortable. And the bedspread had, yes, dried […] stains on it. The bed itself had no mattress pad, and you could see through the sheet to more stains on the mattress itself. I kept my shoes on the entire time, as the floor was filthy. I kept my luggage on the counter, as I didn't even want it on the floor. This was very inexpensive, so I guess it's my bad for thinking it would be a good deal. Will NEVER stay here again. Devamı

At check-in, the front desk had laundry stacked on and behind the desk. The furnishings were cheap and minimal. There was no effort made to decorate the common area or the room. But, it was cheap.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had with a hotel. When we checked into our room, it was not clean. There were sunflower seeds everywhere on the floor and the room was a complete mess! We asked to be moved to another room and the lady at the front desk was not helpful and rude. They eventually moved to us to a new room and the toilet […] was not cleaned and there were urine stains on the toilet! It was disgusting and don't recommend anyone to stay there! Devamı

This dingy, old building is in desperate need of carpet replacement. Very loud and low class customers kept me up all hours of the night. Poorly maintained rooms and hallways were enough to make me keep my shoes on the entire time I was in the building. The worst hotel I have ever been! Expedia advertisement did not sat Extended stay or otherwise I did not book. I stayed for 3 nights, I requested for bathroom cleaning and towels, I did not get either one. I have to go to the front desk with my drty towels every night to get a new one. The elevator and stairs needed sweeping. There was no cream at the coffee station and no decaf made. When I called the front desk it rolled over to some answering machine. Shower curtain was smelly.

I stay at CW at least once a week and have done so for the past year. My room is always clean and neat. This time it wasn't. The tub was dirty and the drawers in the kitchenette were missing. Not too pleased but with the price of the room, can't beat it.

Poor service in the lobby cafe. Seemed to be one or two staff juggling the cafe and front desk at the same time. Very unprofessional as the front desk person was constantly away from the front desk. Additionally, the cafe service was terribly slow as the cafe person had to cook and take orders. This is a no-frills "extended stay" hotel, which means you only get maid and linen service once per week, even if you're only staying two nights. In other words, don't leave in the morning and come back expecting your bed to be made for you. Carpet was in my room was disgustingly dirty, but most everything else was ok.
