Nice room, Nice breakfast

The hotel rooms we decent and clean. The staff was fairly cold to queries. The distance to the city center was too far. Have to take a 15 minute tram ride to nearest metro station. Stay here if you feel the price is right, else pick another hotel close to city center

Room safe did not work . Took too long to have it replaced. Had to follow up several times to get job done. Breakfast was very good. Service was friendly. Room was clean.

I stayed at the Kavalier a total of 4 nights; I arrived a day early and then stayed on with a group. It is important to note that the hotel was selected by the group, and not from recommendations by"hotels.com". At first glance the Kavalier might look like a first class hotel. Unfortunately, it is built in one of the lousiest sections of Vienna. Street […] walkers by the dozens parade around the dimly lit blocks on either side of the hotel. Once inside you will meet the most unfriendly collection of hotel employees ever assembled. A real hassle was made over my staying on with my group, even though I was paid for by them, because that was at a group rate and I should have to pay more for some reason that was not explained. In short, they stuck me up for an additional 30E (fifty bucks). At 6:00 AM I got a call from the desk. I had fallen asleep with the TV on and "was I alright?" I guess someone had trouble hearing what was going on in the railroad switching yard that is right outside the windows. In the morning I inquired about a washer and dryer, which they did not have. I was told that there is no such thing as a laundromat in Austria. They insisted on my using the hotel laundry service. It would be cheaper to throw my dirty clothes away and buy new. The clerk in a nearby 17 Euro-a-night hostel was nice enough to find me a list of local laundromats and printed me off a 'google' map so I could walk to the nearest one. When the group arrived they were disappointed to find that the gift shop was empty, closed. The hotel restaurant shuts down around 9 PM. There is no room service or any other type of service. Nor is there a decent restaurant, shop or bar within walking distance. Those bars that do exist are dimly lit and a little scary looking for the ladies. Luckily there is a trolley line outside that will bring you into Westbahnhoff where there is a lot of activity and a U-line to down-town. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept on. Transport- Near bus stop 51 to Hietzing and Schonbrunn Palace. On tram line 52 to Westbahnhof and then access to all of the central sights. Rooms excellent including air conditioning and opening windows. Breakfasts the full rainge including cooked food and fresh fruit. Hietzing a short bus ride away has good places to eat. Es war alles 100% in Ordnung. Wir sind sicher wieder Ihre Gäste. Was noch fehlt,wäre ein oder zwei kostenlose Behindertenparkplätze vor dem Hotel oder in der Tiefgarage.

Super Frühstück und sehr feine Zimmer, Gitterbett für Kleinkind war umsonst. Normale Preise an der Bar.

A very nice, clean confortable and good breakfast. Only down point is the location, but still has a tram line in front of it

Ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Schloß Schönbrunn und Tiergarten sind in der Nähe. Leider waren wir in der Raucher-Etage (2. Etage) und haben es nachts bemerkt. Sonst alles gut und die Leute sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Egyedül a felszolgált sütemény és kuglóf volt minősíthetetlenül pocsék. Az összes vendég - magamat is beleértve - kóstolás után kerülte, mint a tüzet. Ehetetlen.

- schlechter TV Empfang und 4:3 - Rezeption keine Wienkenntnisse - Zimmer nicht ganz sauber - Frühstück samt Bedienung:sehr gut

Der Service sowohl im Zimmer wie auch beim Frühstück war sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Das Büffet war immer gut umsorgt, und das von sehr früh bis zum Schluss um 10. Auch ein Ausschlafen war mal möglich, ohne vom Zimmerservice aus dem Bett geklopft zu werden.

Propre, confortable et serieux. Prix interessants. Un peu loin du centre ville et du métro. Il faut prendre d'abord le tramway.

Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Eine Straßenbahn ist in der Nähe. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Nur die Bar war abends leider sporadisch besetzt. So dass mann lange warten mußte.

Positiv: Sehr freundliches Personal, super Frühstück und schöne Zimmer. Liegt etwas ausserhalb, was für mich sehr positiv ist, da ich nicht gerne mit dem Auto in die Innenstadt fahre. Negativ: Das Hotel hat eine Tiefgarage, wobei die meisten Stellplätze leider reserviert sind. Man muß etwas Glück haben um einen nicht ganz billigen Parkplatz zu bekommen. Wybór hotelu Kavalier w Wiedniu okazał się dobrym wyborem. Zastaliśmy tam dobrą obsługę, wygodny pokój i wspaniałe śniadanie. Hotel ma dobre połączenie z centrum. Koło hotelu przejeźdza tramwaj którym można dojechać do dworca zachodniego gdzie można się przesiąść na metro. Do innej linii metra można dojść na piechotę w dziesięć minut. Hotel posiada […] podziemny parking ale z niego nie korzystaliśmy gdyż auto zostawiliśmy na ulicy pod oknami naszego pokoju. Śniadanie, zawarte w cenie pokoju, może zadowolić chyba każdego, dania ciepłe, zimne, ciasta, dobra kawa i inne napoje, naprawde można się posilić przed zwiedzaniem Wiednia. Gdy będziemy się wybierać ponownie do Wiednia napewno weźmiemy pod uwagę hotel Kavalier. Devamı

l'hotel est loin du centre historique,il faut prendre le tram puis metro pour etre au centre.la chambre et grande mais la propreté laisse à désiré ( saleté sur la moquette resté les trois jours de notre séjour ) shampoing pour le premier jour ensuite flacon vide mais jamais remplit,la chambre donnant sur axe très passant donc très bruyant impossible […] de dormir la fenètre ouverte et la clim très mal réglé( signalé à plusieures reprises) petit déjeuné buffet sans imagination et laissant à désiré .le seul point positif et le prix de la nuité. Bécs külvárosában lévő szolid kis hotel. Ha az utazó lakni akar valahol, amíg megnézi a várost, nagyon jó választás. A közlekedés jó, Schönbrunnhoz közel van. A reggeli jó, és nem is sózzák el az ételt. A szálloda mögött egy kis tároló pályaudvar és egy tranzitvágány is van, de meglepően kicsi a zaj. A személyzet kedves és szolgálatkész. l'hôtel est loin du centre, proche du tram et un peu loin du metro. Pour un 4*, c'est un peu soft mais c'est neuf et propre. Nous n'avons pas pu accéder au sauna... Le rapport qualité-prix est correct.

Ondanks dat het hotel buiten het centrum ligt is het zeer goed bereikbaar met tram 52. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding helemaal goed. Goede bedden (slappe kussens), prima badkamer. Safe op de kamer. Goed ontbijt, aardige medewerkers.

Das Hotel list gut ausgestattet und liegt verkehrsgünstig, Strassenbahnhaltestelle in 50 M Entfernung. Die Zimmer sind praktisch und modern eingereichtet. Schalldichte Fenster, das der Geräuschpegel ruhig ist. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig und mit guten Angebot.

Ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiter empfehlen. Das Personal ist bedeckt und zurückhaltend, aber hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber. Und Klimaanlage funktioniert super. das Badzimmer ist praktisch und sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet sehr umfangreich und mehr als genügend. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehelen! Selbst die Zimmer zur Bahnseite […] sind akzeptabel und nicht sehr laut. Strasenbahnhaltestelle ganz in der Nähe und tatsächlich in 15 Minuten ist man am Westbahnhof und Mariahilferstrasse. Devamı

Lite dålig närvaro i baren, man kom hem efter en dag på staden och gjorde sig iordning för middag och då var det sällan någon i baren.
