"Convenient for Morning Ferry"
Hotel room was clean and fresh and had a great night sleep. Hotel staff was very helpful with recommendations for dinner. Stayed here to be able to take the morning Ferry which was an hour drive away.

Was pleased with the stay here. The room seemed a little small, but we had 5 people and a small dog in it, so that's not surprising. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and in good repair. Definitely would stay there again.

THIS BUILDING IS PORTRAYED AS FAIRLY NEW AND IT IS REALLY A SHABBY BUILDING. mY BATHROOM HAD MANY CRACKED TILES AND THE CIELING WAS A DROPPED CIELING THAT WAS PAINTED RATHER SLOPPILY. i EXPECTED A NICER FACILITY. I THINK YOU NEED TO MONITOR THE LOCATIONS A LITTLE MORE THOURLY. ALSO OUR BOTTOM SHEET SEEMED TO NOT HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THIS IS A DEFINATE […] POOR PRACTICE.!! Devamı
"No Heat, No Service"
The heating/air conditioning unit didn't work and no one would pick up at the front desk. The shower curtain was too short to stay in the tub resulting in a wet floor. Not a good stay!
"Fits the Bill!"
Very Nice place to stay. Pet friendly and a great continental breakfast. Did have a problem with noisy kids next door banging on walls. Desk staff couldn't quiet them down, but they did move us down a room where we couldn't hear it.

only thing I have to complain about is they had a party and suppose to end at 11pm. but it went on to 3-4 am. people in the rooms were going back and forth and slamming the doors all the night and i was told the person at desk should broke up the party. also two days the maid didn't come in either other wise we were treated goood and will go back a […] gain. "Nice clean hotel - great place to bring a pet to"
We just got back from our stay at Morehead City and would recommend this Holiday Inn as a place to stay - either with or without pets. We took our Cairn Terrier and were very welcomed. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great!

The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The only problem was that there was a problem with the fire door between the lobby and the hallway that needs to be fixed in case there is a fire.

If you are staying in the Morehead City/Beaufort area, this hotel is an excellent choice. It's about 5 minutes from Beaufort but very convenient. Breakfast is less than great but other than that, it was a good place to stay.

We called ahead to the hotel to let them know we would be checking in late, 8:45 pm. Upon arrival no one at the front desk, finally I found the woman on duty, she was not friendly, when I asked her about the Shackleford banks which was our reason for the trip, she said "oh" when I commented on how the internet mentioned the best place to go shellying […] on east coast was there, she abruptly said "it's all been picked over by now", there was no welcome to Holiday Inn, it was like we were more a pain in her a**. More to the facts of the hotel, kind of grungy, our room had a loud air conditioner that did not work, it was like a fan...no help in the summer. Our room was facing parking lot, lots of noise all night, no vent in bathroom so it gets steamy and uncomfortable, no shampoo. Now to the free breakfast are you kidding me??? Greasy bacon, yellowish type omelet, certain nothing worth calling breakfast. We had booked two nights, could not bare to sleep another night on the uncomfortable beds. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Although I would have preferred to be closer to the beach, the drive was not a problem at all and having the pool made not being right on the beach good for the kids. It's definitely a good hotel for the price, especially with the breakfast!

We were very pleased with our recent stay. The hotel is nicely decorated, the beds are very comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, the hotel staff was very friendly, location is perfect.....we will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, very clean and nice room, good breakfast bar. I would stay again. It's only minutes from the most popular attractions. It's just about impossible to get lost. A straight shot to historic Beaufort, shopping, beaches, day cruises, and restaurants. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Exp. The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. It was priced right for what we needed and the location was quiet. Close to all the local attractions and yet not too close to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Holiday Inn Express is known for its hospitality, good breakfasts, and cleanliness. This one did not disappoint. One of the front desk staff could have been a smidge friendlier, but I think she was hungry and tired, and therefore, a dry tone is understandable. Overall, very lovely stay.

Highly recommend this hotel for pet owners, families and executives. Well appointed spacious rooms, conveniently located in a mixed residential and commercial area. Just over an hour to Cedar Island . Nice breakfast. Would stay here again.
"Great stay"
Hada great stay, rooms we clean and staff was nice. However trying to extend a reservation while inhouse when the room was originally booked through hotels.com is near to impossible. Had to change rooms but was never told that prior.

"Holiday Inn Express (not Exste)"
This hotel provided everything I have come to expect in Holiday Inn Express locations. Unlike the other ones I have stayed in, this hotel had no problem with smoke, because it was 100% non-smoking. The rooms were larger than in the other Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed in, I believe, and there was a somewhat larger choice for breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. We were traveling with our pet and the accomodations were very nice for our little one. Personnel were very friendly. Nice breakfast. We would go back.

Front desk personel were very friendly. They are a pet friendly hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay with them. Everything as advertised plus more.

We had an okay stay. The front desk staff was extremely nice and tried to be helpful. The pool was small (5 ft. at the deepest end). The biggest thing for us was when my companion's brand new salon-brand bottle of hairspray went missing while we were out. We searched the room high and low and looked everywhere. It was nowhere to be found. After informing […] the front desk, they reimbursed my companion for the amount she had paid for the spray. "Room smelled very bad, internet not working"
We had booked a non smoking room, but probably due to the hotel being full we got one which by the smell was obviously a smoking room. When we came out of the elevator, the whole corridor was smelling funny, but when we went into the room it really stank. In addition to this the internet was not working in the room (it did work in the corridor or in […] the hall of the hotel). All in all a very bad experience Devamı
"Dump of a Holiday Inn!!"
Room was filthy, smelled of smoke. All linens, everything stank! Way overpriced for the market and by far the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would advise anyone to stay there. I would stay there again.
