If you are on a budget and just need a night place to stay it is great, the hotel is pretty old and does need a lot of maintenance and fixing but for its price it is okay.

Would not stay here again. Spent just a single night in this 'hotel' which more closely resembled a downmarket hostel. Staff were rude, the room filthy and in dire need of repair. The one redeeming feature was the comfort of the bed.

Went for a one night, one day trip to Miami. Chose this hotel for it's cheap price; however, you get what you pay for. Very few amenities, very low water pressure, takes a little while for hot water to get to room, cheap uncomfortable beds. Hotel is located in a old historic building. It looks as if the owners are attempting to fix it up and make it […] nice sparing expenses along the way. The best thing about this hotel where it's people. The people were extremely pleasant, helpful, and courteous. If you are looking for a cheap hotel that you don't plan on spending much time in, are not concerned with amenities, and are not concerned with being fancy then this is a great hotel. Devamı

They should fire the lady working the day shift at the earliest

we are traveling for 6 months & have stayed in some crappy places but we are not fussy. BUT this hotel by far has been the worst out of 6 months of travel!!! worst experience ever, don't stay here, don't give them business!

The pictures about the hotel that you can see in the internet are so different that the hotel really is. Localization is good, but the service is terrible.

This hotel is a dump. Not only was it dirty with poor service, I had people knocking ony door trying to get into my room in the middle of the night.

Location is within walking distance from south beach if you are in good shape. 3-4 km I think, but easy walking on board walk along the beach. Breakfast: Cereals and muffins and coffe. The hotel is rather cheap so dont expect too much. Old but OK clean, except for the floor blanket in my room which was very very dirty. Parking by meters starting at […] 8am. Wifi only in lobby. Great hotel for the price! not a five star but clean spacious rooms. All six of us on Miami Beach for a great rate, Awesome!

Hotel correct but really ageing (wallst-carpets-blinds...)

Pulled up to this hotel in the evening to find several men smoking and drinking on the steps. The elevator should have been condemned. This is not a hotel for families. The rooms were disgusting and I am not sure how this place has not been closed for health violations. Stripped all the beds to check for bugs and found one bed in the room had bed bugs. […] Paint was peeling off the doors and walls and I am pretty sure that they rent rooms by the hour by the looks of some of the female tenants. If you are a family trying to save some money, DO NOT book this hotel. Devamı

It is a horrible place to stay at- no electronic keys, the beds are terrible and squeezy, the hotel staff is not hospitable - which I understand - they do not have anything to be proud of. This hotel doesn't have to be in Miami Beach, this hotel doesn't have to be in Hotels.com .............

Good but needs much improvement

The hotel was a little old but was a good price for the area.

We found the place clean, the staff professional and the location perfect for the brokerage boat show. A bit out of the 5 to 15th scene but quietly so and that was good. This is not luxury but it felt safe clean and comfortable. The 41st access to I 95 avoided traffic. good value hotel

If Hotels.com would have a lesser rating, I would select that rating! No towels, no comfort, no phone, and no heat! On one of the coldest nights in south beach, this hotel had no warmth of any kind! The blinds wouldn't even close properly to block the wind, much less the morning sun. Avoid this hotel if you can!!!

This hotel has everything needed to be an incredible find, but.... They just let it run into the ground. We took the stairs every time because, the elevator wasnt inspected. There was no certificate shlwing and jumped, bounced and made more noise than my mother in law. The lobby had that half way house feel to it, as a retired forensics detective I […] was tempted to use the blue light over every surface in our room. I chose not to simply because I knew I would be descusted. The bed mattress fell through the frame and the desk said they would fix it the next day.... We had to fix it using a drawer from the night stand underneath. The carpet had more stains than I cared to see and missing tiles in the bathroom were filled in with drywall paste. I slept with sweatpants and long sleave shirt and socks.... Ontop of the bed. Staff was cold, short and simply not interested. They said, "what do you want for this price in Miami?" The area was nice, close to all... And very safe. On street parking is tough though. Find a spot and never leave it or you could be driving around the blocks dozens of times. The internet photos are not what you get.... I wouldnt send my enemies there...... I love Miami and was here to work, so we spent very little time in or hotel.... Thank you Jesus! Devamı

Don't ever book a room in this hotel

Basic needs fulfilled.

The location is great and the hotel is cheap, but it shows. The bed was creaky and not comfortable. The room was patched in places and not very aesthetically appealing, but it was clean. The TV didn't have a remote or guide. The shower had only half a glass pane and no door. A floor mat was not provided for the bath, just a couple of towels. Although the hotel is obviously VERY old and the renovations were horrible, the people were very nice and very accomodating. We got a BIG laugh about the condition of the hotel because it was so worn out and my friend was so afraid of the elevator, she wouldn't get back on it so we used the stairs every time. We were there for the ING Miami marathon […] so we weren't in the room much at all, just to sleep a few hours. I thought the hotel had 'character'. This hotel needs a lot of maintenance, the toilet stinks, the beds are horrible and the carpet is filthy, I would never stay there again.

It's an excellent choice for the price. Includes continental breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms. Staff was nice and very accommodating. GREAT location. Parking on the street was nearby and easy to find. $10 for 24 hr. parking just 2 blocks from Miami Beach!

When you go to Miami beach, you expect (even from a so called 2 star hotel) a certain minimum. Please, dear readers, DO NOT expect anything great from this, on the contrary! The hotel was not clean. The rooms were appalling, the carpet seemed so dirty and stained that we did not dare walk barefoot in the room. We actually took a blanket to walk on […] the floor with. To top it off, the room stank of old cigarette smoke and humidity. It was almost sickening at first! No matter what we did and for how long we kept the window open, it did not improve. The only up side is the location, I suppose. But that is nothing special given that you can't really get a bad location in Miami Beach. Way too expensive for what you get! Devamı

There is only one good thing about this hotel -- the location. It is only one block away from the beach. That is all!!! The room is old, the staff there is not very nice. AND there is NO internet in the room. Only in the LOBBY. When I got there, the wifi only worked for the first night. For the other three nights, there is no wifi! I tried to talk to […] the front desk about it, they didn't really care at all. They were like, I dont know how to fix it. Anothere thing, there was only one little lock on the hotel room door. I felt unsafe! The hallway of the hotel rooms looked like hospital.... Anyway, worst hotel I ever stayed! Not recommended. Devamı

This hotel is a disgrace. The service was abysmal. I was checked in entirely whilst the receptionist chatted on the phone. The staff refused to even give out spare towels or refill the breakfast cereal. The breakfast consisted of some stale cakes and bagels and cereal (if you were lucky), served in the reception area. How they can claim to be a 2 star […] is a mystery to me. This hotel is not much more than a hostel. The only redeeming feature of this establishment is the great location near the beach. Devamı

I was visiting my family so only had to sleep there at night

Our experience of Venezia was terrible. Hotel and room conditions were awfull, clerk in reception was very rude. They have no park so you pay park fee in front of hotel

For the cheap price we paid we can not expect too much however at least we expected a nice service but the girl on the reception does not know anything about this word... she is miserable and stays on the phone all the time not even hanging up or looking when a guest come to ask a question... Also the lift was not working and seems that it's been like […] that for ages which is very inconvenient especially for people with lots of luggage. I think the hotel would be better ranked if they train the receptionist better or find one with a bit of idea of customer service. It was fine but very dated. Devamı

The hotel was nice, clean and in a convenient location. Only things i noticed is there wasnt a phone in our room, no ice machine, and no vcr.
