New carpet and paint. New beds. New TV's coming. Room comfortable. Will stay again.
"Convenient"
The stay at this hotel had everything that I required, and I was satisfied. I did think it odd to have a whole wall of windows that looked out into the hallway. The tile/grout will soon need replacing in the shower, as the grout is cracked and surely letting water through. We asked in out inital reservation for one roll-a-way in the room. That was an option - there was not one for the first night and I had to sleep on the floor on a pile of blankets given to us at the front desk. They said there was a mix up etc. We did get one the 2nd night. I wish there was not the option if was not possible in the first place.

Great location when attending events at UNI-Dome!
"Days Inn near Waterloo,IA"
I was just staying one night on my way to MN. It was OK but I was glad it was just me. Older motel, furnishings needed updated. Walls had cracks, bath tub had a spider in it, easily washed down with the shower. Bed was not real comfortable.

"clean and cheap"
You can't beat the price. Staff was friendly. Room was warm and cleaned every day.
"Days Inn"
Very disappointing...did not live up to Days Inn quality of hotels in any way. Mattresses were horrible, refrigerator had food in it from previous guests, wallpaper coming off the wall in bathroom and mold on wall painted over. Was not aware pool and other amnetites were across the parking lot in a sister hotel. Bery inconvenient!
"False Advertising"
The information for the hotel states they have an indoor pool, fitness facility and restaurant. When actually ALL that stuff is across the parking lot in the Clarion Hotel next door so you use your room key to have access next door. Either get that information off your ad or let people know that it's in another hotel. The ONLY reason we chose that hotel […] was for price and those few things and the complimentary breakfast - and we get there and your hotel has only the breakfast!! That is just wrong and you shouldn't be charging people money for amenities you DO NOT have! Also our room heater did not work and neither did the air - so the room was just hot and stuffy. "Absolutely Disgusting"
We walked in and there was a mildewy scent. Eh, maybe it had flooded and the carpets were being replaced. Nope. Waited on line for 15 minutes behind one person and then finally checked in. Walked down the stained carpet in the hallway with burned out light bulbs, past the smell of skunk (which could have been smoke from something else) and the blaring […] of loud mariachi music, and upstairs to our unclean room. Checked for bed bugs and looked like things were okay. There was hair on the bathroom floor and some things were dusty. We were only staying one night and decided to stick it out. My resevations were for a non smoking room but the room I got sure had been smoked in!!!! There was an ash try on the table and the sign on the door did not indicate it was a non smoking room like the one just before mine. Staff did come up and spray with fabreeze which did help but did not totally remove the smell. So why did I not switch? "Bring blankets"
The temperature in the room was in the 60"s and could not be changed. It was so cold. The air conditioners in the hallway outside the room were so cold and running on high, it was like walking into a freezer. We came home with colds after staying here for 2 nights. The beds were firm, which was okay, but only double beds available. With 3 adults and […] 1 child, it was cramped. The room was not stocked with towels for this many people, which staff brought them right down to the room promptly. Three nights previously, we stayed at a Days Inn in East Davenport, which was a very comfortable motel. It was queen size beds in a larger room and very clean. Devamı
"Allergic to mold-stay away"
Hotel room was clean and the continental breakfast was fine, but the carpet in the hallways were so musty it triggered an allergy attack and respitory distress. It smelt awful. They have no air conditioning in the hallways and the humidity really brought attention to the mold underneath the carpets. urine smell throughout room, moldy bathroom, carpet worn, mattress and linens not of good quality,

For the cost of the hotel it was good. Only bad part is in the shower they have the soap tray hooked to the wall right in the middle. So when you are taking a shower your elbow will come down and hit it! Leaving a very bruised elbow!!!!
The rooms were dirty smelled bad and the bed was the hardest I have ever slepted on.
The room smelled very bad.. heat did not work..cold whole night. when checked in some reason my reservation appeared twice and would be charged twice..Clerk did cancel and I hope the billing will straighten out and charge for only one room. I would say the clerk at desk was th oughtful and ki nd..But Motels needs to be cleaned and aired.

"One Night Stay"
I enjoyed my stay at Cedar Falls Days Inn. My only complaint was a slight moldy smell. However, the rooms were clean, the staff was nice, and the continental breakfast was okay. I really enjoyed the location on the main strip.
"great location, pretty basic accommodations"
I did not shower in the morning thanks to the gross tiles in the tub. Air conditioner/heat was noisy and slow to make changes when the thermostat was adjusted. Very convenient location to Cedar Falls and Route 58. Probably will not stay there again when I visit my family in Cedar Falls

"Do NOT stay here!"
When I checked in, the front desk associate told me that I had two rooms reserved and I only reserved one. She changed that once I corrected her. When I first got to my room I heard a dripping noise and proceeded to see where it was coming from. I found that the tub faucet was leaking and the tub was half full. The drain hardly worked at all and I was […] standing in a half full tub of water during my entire shower. I called maintenance and they said they would have to rip out the wall to fix the problem but that they couldn't move me because they were full for the weekend. I later found out that the hotel wasn't full at all. My room was not cleaned when I was gone during the day and I had to call the front desk for more towels, cups, etc. She said someone would be at my door right away but they didn't come until about an hour later. The room also has an entire wall that is glass covered only by curtains. I couldn't open my curtains or everyone in the hallway could see into my room. There were also no windows in the room. The outside doors DO NOT get locked at night so the general public can literally 'walk the halls'. I will not be staying here ever again. Devamı
"if traveling with kids, avoid this hotel"
The whole hotel smelled like it was flooded last month. Found some interesting stuff under the bed (do not want to scare), one of the faucets kept leeking all night long, cheap but definitelly not the family material. avoid if you can. Thank you.
"Days Inn"
Our room smelled very musty. There was a fan in the hallway trying to dry the carpet. The carpet in certain areas of our room were damp. Our room was clean and if it had not been for the previous mentioned items it would have been a nice stay.
"In disrepair, humid and stuffy"
The staff and location were great, but the hotel is in disrepair. There were water leaks in the hallway ceiling and the hotel was very stuffy and humid with a somewhat musty smell. The hotel had fans blowing in the hallway in an attempt to dry out the hallway. I was also disappointed that the hallways are on the outside of the building and the rooms […] are on the interior with glass walls along the hallway; it reminded me of a prison scene. Therefore, the only way to get natural light or see outside is to open the drapes and look out the windows across the hallway. Unfortunately, that means everyone walking down the hall was staring into your room. As a woman traveling alone, this was not a smart idea so I kept the drapes closed and sat in a dark room. The hotel was not what I remembered when I was there 7 yrs ago..the ceiling is falling apart...the pillows are hard as rocks...you can use the pool at the Holiday Inn but it was FREEZING!!!! We stayed here due to the convenient location. Probably won't stay again.

"Nice hotel but noisy guests"
The staff were very professional and service oriented. However, we were awakened in the middle of the night by some annoying guests. they were talking very loud and banging the doors into the walls. It went on for several minutes. We were about to call the front desk when they finally calmed down. Also, the hotel description states an indoor pool.
