Westfield Inn And Suites - Lancaster

The bed was comfortable, although the room could be cleaner. Hair and soap left in bathroom.

Good location, but beat up, worn out, stains, damaged walls and the loudest place I've stayed. Doors slamming woke me up throughout the night. Not soundproofed at all. Guy who ran the place is super nice. Won't ever go back there though.

The price was right (thru hotels.com, anyway), and they had rooms when a lot of other places were full, but the room was just average in cleanliness and comfort, and the walls were so thin we could hear what was going on in adjacent rooms.

After a disappointing stay elsewhere and spending an hour on the net looking for accommodations for the weekend, We found Westfield Inn and Suites with only 1 suite left for the 3 nights. It was more than we could have asked for and for a very affordable price. It was close to everywhere where we wanted to be and it is located in an excellent location […] to get a good morning walk in without having to fight heavy traffic. I booked two rooms knowing that I might have to cancel one, so I'd checked the cancellation policy. When I called to cancel, 1st they said that it was too late, then that they couldn't help me, I'd have to go through expedia ("but I didn't book through expedia." "Well, that's the only way to change your reservation."). Hotels.com customer service cancelled […] the room easily. When we checked in, we were told that we still had both booked, but they would just let us have the one room. The room was smoky. When we asked for another, the guy at the front desk just kept saying, "but no, this is a non-smoking hotel. How can there be smoke in the room?" He treated us like we were making it up, but then let us have another room. Everything there was fine.... except that the tub had obviously not been cleaned before our stay (yuck). this hotel has not been remodeled since the days of smoking in the hotel. cigarette burns in the flooring of the bathroom and the smell of stale smoke throughout the hotel. Also, the window in my room was broken to the point of not being able to lock. a real security issue that the management was not at all interested in hearing about. do not stay […] here!!! Devamı

I will not stay at this hotel again The staff was rude and the room was not clean. There was mold in the shower and the carpet was stained. I asked for an extra blanket, I was given a ripped one with holes. I stayed at this hotel because we had to evacuate my home because of hurricaine Irene, this was the worst!

The double beds are too small. You need to upgrade to queen size beds. Other than that everything was fine.

Had trouble opening the room keys would not work. Bed was to be a Queen size and was given a double and manager kept telling me it was a queen. I have a Queen at home so we do know the difference. With my bad back this double Bed was not enough room for me. In the review it also said there were balonys to all rooms. This was FALSE.

My family and I stayed at the Westfield this past weekend so that we could enjoy the surrounding activities located in Lancaster and not have to pay an arm and a leg! Well....the next time, I will start my hotel search early and fork out the dough. The Westfield had no frills and that was not a problem, but it also had ants in our room. They were so […] bad we had to change rooms. Overall, the service (the owner's young daughter) was very nice and pleasant to work with; however, the hotel leaves little to be desired. I say plan early...spend a little bit more just so you can go to bed in some comfort. At Westfield...you get less than you pay for!! Devamı

We were dissapointed that the pool was not open for the memorial day holiday. Staff was nice

Hotel staff were very friendly. Room was clean and hotel convinienty located near highway.

Upon checking in I requested a late check out for the next day. The desk person was very accomodating and we agreed that 1:00 was acceptable. She documented it in the file. The normal time is 11:00 am. I was in bed at 11:10 am when the phone rang and the manager/owner told me that i had to vacate NOW. I reminded him of the agreement that the desk clerk […] had made. A perfect location for a hobby show in York, just 20 minutes away. My third stay there and each time I have been satisfied.

This place is so out of date and looks like it is in the 70's. The room was moldy, furniture was abused, bed was saggy and someone went in and out ALL night long slamming the door at the end of the hall. The breakfast was terrible, coffee was so weak, looked like weak tea. Will never go there again. Need to take it off your list of hotels.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and are sad to see the continuing decline in maintenance and cleaning that has occurred since it was purchased by a family from India. The carpets in the rooms are worn and bunched up, the curtains and bedspreads smell of human sweat. The breakfast is a joke- donuts from Costco and weak coffee. The older family […] patriarch at the front desk is argumentative and will not cooperate with any requests. There is no elevator and any request for a first floor room is rejected out of hand. The hotel was decent for the price. Ac didnt kick as good as it should. Kept hearing other rooms doors slam throughout the night. Needs upgrades but would stay there again if needed to.

Cannot remember the last time that a reservation for two adults would result in one double bed..no king, no queen, no two doubles, just one small double bed! room was clean enough, towels thin but okay, sort of minimal accommodations. with all the hotels in the area, will probably choose a different one next time we go to Lancaster.

The room was fine. The only thing that was wrong with the hotel was that the continental breakfast. On the day of check out went for breafast and there was one piece of fruit left, no donuts, and just was not up for eating toast or cereal. There was, however, a McDonalds and a Bob Evans close by which was able to feed our family pretty inepensively […] . Devamı

The customer service was not very good. There was no one in the office when I arrived. It took about 10 minutes before someone returned to the front desk. After checking in I asked about an elevator since we were on the second floor and was informed there wasn't one. This should be noted in the hotel description for people who have a hard time with […] stairs. The room was a nice size and since we only had a single queen bed there was plenty of room. But the television was over away from the bed and could not be seen from the bed. Also the bathroom had much to be desired. The shower/tub was rater small. And the shower curtain barely reached the top of the tub. we had water all over the floor. Devamı
