If you want a more quiet experience in South Beach, this is a good choice. Rooftop deck overlooking ocean is a great spot. Good fitness room, nice pool area. Courtesy chairs, umbrellas and towels at beach. Wireless worked well. Breakfast at Front Porch cafe nearby is better than hotel restaurant. One day room didn't get cleaned though I was out of the […] room for about 6 hours. The room I had was fairly quiet though it was next to an alley so not the greatest view. I like the location on South Beach. It is close to shopping, the beach and the bus line. The lobby is pretty busy and with the restaurant out front it could get congested but it is kept pretty clear. Wonderful boutique hotel. May not be for everyone, if you prefer a more traditional hotel with large rooms, pool, etc, this is not for you, if you like comfortable, cozy, and upscale service and surroundings, you will love this hotel. Great location and great roof top deck.

The hotel was beautiful ! The location is amazing. The roof deck has a spectacular view of the ocean. You are right int he middle of everything. Walk to Lincoln Rd. and Espanola Way. The only issue was the sound from a garbage truck in the early morning right out back one morning. The staff could not be more helpful. I will be going back! The Betsy is a lovely hotel, the staff is very attentive were helpful to us. The room was on the small side, but had the most comfortable bed ever. The hotel has a lot of boutique style touches like a small library in each room, really nice bath products and original artwork throughout the hotel. The on site restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food […] is really good (unlike some of the other tourist trap style restaurants on Ocean drive that are just as costly!) The rooftop is nice for lounging and sunbathing and has an excellent view of the ocean along with a bar. The chairs and umbrella service for the beach was also great and only a short walk across the street. My husband and I had a wonderful time at this elegant, but laid back hotel. Great hotel. Our room was ready when we arrived and we got an upgrade for our anniversary. Always a classy touch with everyone at he hotel. And the restaurant BLT steak that is part of the hotel was excellent!!

This hotel is pretty, inviting, and well maintained. It stands out from the rest on Ocean Drive. Unfortunately, my husband and I were disappointed in some aspects. First, we were not satisfied with our breakfast at the hotel. (The waiter actually brought us a VERY dirty milk creamer, and the food was nothing special). We stayed overnight after enjoying El Volo at the Fillmore Theater in South Beach - the Betsy Hotel was situated perfectly near the Theater and the interesting restaurants and activity along Ocean Avenue. My wife raved about the quality of the staff, the clean rooms and friendly service. A very nice hotel. Contemporary, but with nice touches. The location is perfect -- a quiet street, short walk to the beach, very close to the action in the heart of South Beach.

Absolute luxury. The Betsy is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Located at the quieter end of Ocean drive, right opposite the beach. Theirs a section of the beach sectioned off for Betsy guests and serviced by 3 or 4 staff from 10-6, beach chairs and umbrellas are included in the $15 a day fee you […] pay on check in and the beach is amazing with warm water. The Betsy staff cannot do enough for you, the front door is always held open for you, the doorman take your bags and organise taxi's for you if necessary. The concierge know all the best restaurants/trips and are always on hand to make reservations and recommendations on your behalf. They have a turndown service which involves a maid coming into your room around 9pm and leaving a bottle of water, pulling back your covers ready for when you get back and leaving a towel and slippers for you - I've never had anything like that before, nice touch! You must try the BLT steak restaurant, my wife and I shared the 40oz sharing steak with fries and jalapeño mash and was by far the best piece of steak we'd ever had, followed by the most amazing dessert, it's a little bit of the pricey side with the bill coming in around $150 with drinks but would definitely recommend eating there at least once on your trip. If you're going to South Beach then book the Betsy, we took a look around the other hotels and nothing comes close to the look, style and service of the Betsy. Devamı

We've stayed in a lot of top class hotels, but as an all round package, this is our favourite. A great mix of style, comfort (especially the fabulous pillows on the beds), lively buzz and super friendly staff. Really couldn't fault it. And by the way, the online photos don't do it justice - the rooms are much nicer and much roomier than they appear […] in the photos, so don't be put off by them as we nearly were. Devamı

This is a well run and beautiful hotel. It is on the north end of Ocean ave in south beach and away from the noise. The hotel was built in colonial style in the 1920's and has been restored well. The lobby is very classy with whites and blacks. The roms are beautiful with views of the beach. The service was first class.

The Betsy is one of the nicest hotels on Ocean Drive. The staff remembered us from a prior visit and the service was excellent. The room was nice, but the bathroom fan didn't work so the bathroom was very foggy after a shower and the water pressure was just ok. Overall a great place to stay.

It's a very dog-friendly place. It's worth every $ I paid. The service is exceptional. The staff are friendly. They love dogs. You can chill out with cool drinks with your well-behaved dog at The Deck on the roof top. You can dine with your dog on the side at BLT Steak on the porch. There are many other dinning options within walking distance and the […] areas' restaurants and shops are all very dog friendly. We stayed at The Betsy for a quick four day get-away with friends and we were delighted with the hotel! The staff were extremely helpful and gave wonderful dining suggestions. The view from the rooftop lounge area was spectacular and very relaxing. If there was one thing that needed improvement it was the beach towels and lounge covers provided on the […] beach front kiosk associated with the hotel - the ones we provided were sub-standard. The Betsy Hotel was everything we expected! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The roof deck was fantastic. We ate dinner at the hotel once during our stay but it was the best dinner of the week. Our room was wonderful and kept very clean and the service was excellent!

Our stay at The Betsy was outstanding! This boutique hotel has an ideal location, an intimate, friendly feel, good design, and excellent personalized service. It is a memorable part of our visit to South Beach and I would definitely stay here again. I would also recommend it highly to friends headed to SoBe.

We loved the location, staff and rooftop terrace. The pool view rooms are very nice but a tad small, especially the bathrooms. I couldn't find by ebook charger when I got home and they were very helpful in locating it and sending it back to me. We would definintely stay there again.

The Betsy is a charming, well-located South Beach hotel. The rooms, while tiny, are nicely decorated. The linens are lovely, the bathroom products divine, the twice-daily maid service a treat. The major problem with the hotel: the sour staff. With the exception of the front desk staff and restaurant servers, the staff do not seem to understand the concept […] of "hospitality"... (I recommend that the Management head down the street to The Tides and take a lesson from them in creating an environment which radiates good cheer.) Not once during our stay did the doormen greet us with a smile and a "good morning" or "have a nice day" as we departed... There was no friendly banter from the bar staff. One barman went so far as to "teach us a lesson" by serving us a glass of water disguised as a martini when we sent back the cocktail that he clearly did not know how to make. Any competent manager would have escorted such a vindictive and unprofessional employee to the door. I don't know what exactly the problem is but they need to fix it. The reveiws I read about this hotel were all spot on! It is a beautiful hotel outside and inside and it well situated at the top of Ocean Drive. The staff were very helpful and we were made to feel welcome from check in to check out. The bar area downstairs is great and the BLT restaurant is fantastic! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was very nice. Customer service was outstanding. The restaurant was incredible. Downside is that for the cost ($$$$) the rooms were small with no drawers, no chair and a walk in shower that is problematic. There were also no real amenities. The pool was tiny and not used the entire time we were there by anyone. They would have been better […] off to make that area a nice courtyard with plantings, tables for outside seating of the restaurant, etc. I can't say enough about the staff however. With the exception of the male concierge everyone was extremely nice, accomodating and made us feel very welcome and special. Devamı

Very nice boutique hotel, great area with a park at the front door an a minute walk to the beach. The restaurant is extremely good for any of the meal (we had breakfast and dinner and we were extremely satisfied). Very close to all the Miami Beach action but far enough not to hear any noise at night!

My wife and I like to travel and as a result stayed in many fine hotels in the U.S. and around the world. We were pleasantly surprised during our stay at Betsy. This hotel has the amenities of a five star hotel, yet the feel of intimacy and the personalized service that can only be received in a boutique hotel. The warm welcome started at the front desk and continued through our entire stay. The concierge service was really and truly outstanding. The rooms are beautifully designed, the lobby and the bar area are nice and inviting, the rooftop terrace is an ideal place to relax. The beach is just steps away (complete with chairs, umbrellas, and towels reserved exclusively for Betsy guests). The location is perfect – just steps away from the hustling and bustling area, yet far enough to block out the noise. We loved the stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Overpriced. I am biased, because I am used to being spoiled when I travel. I like to be treated politely and with great customer service. My biggest complaint was the customer service. People were rude, and stared at my husband and I if we weren't dressed a certain way. We came in from the beach and someone stopped me to ask if we "belonged" to the […] hotel. The Betsy was small and eco friendly (not my thing). No shower door, no options to watch movies in the room, tiny room, hallways were hot, crappy pool. They did have books and games for rent and purchase (again, not my thing). The pool is enclosed by walls, so not the best space to get sun. Beach was close and was much better than going to the pool. The restaurant was good - BLT is recommended. Overall I would rate this hotel a 4 out of 10. I have never provided a rating before, but I felt strongly enough about this one to say something. The Besty was a great choice for an anniversary weekend in Miami. The location at the end of Ocean drive was within walking distance to restaurants and bars on Ocean and Lincoln Rd. The beach is a walk across the street. The decor with its dark woods and plantation shutters felt very cuban. Would not recommend eating at the hotel. Food is overpriced. […] Service was great. We stayed at the Betsy from Sept 23 - 26. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food at the hotel was very pricey. Explore the neighborhood for wider and cheaper variety of food. Check out Lincoln Road. If you're a drinker check out Wet Willies.
