the hotels was good but there are few things that i want to say: 1- it is very old fashion 2- the breakfast is very very poor (not worthy).. better take it outside 3- i took a room from three adults and it was very small for us... we barely could move there

Good value. Price included a simple breakfast of bread roll, croissant, coffee and juice.

The moment we walked in the hotel with our heavy luggages, the man in front just stared at us and didn't even greet or helped us with our bags. Then we proceeded to the counter and the receptionist did not even acknowledge our presence so then we had to wait uncomfortably for about 30 seconds until we got helped. No smile, No nothing. The nearest Metro […] Station is about a 10 min walk, and the Wifi is NOT free. I did like their balcony and the strong AC though. Overall, based on my unpleasant customer service experience, I would not invest my money with them again and therefore, would not recommend this hotel. Devamı

We are not fussy travellers, however, we would not recommend Hotel Donetello due to location. Yes, it is close to the Tremini tracks...but not the station. We had to walk 20 minutes, with luggage, through a not so nice area, to arrive at the hotel. That being said, the hotel was gorgeous, spacious and clean. Also, the staff was helpful. We stayed at […] 4 other hotels during this trip, and this breakfast was lacking in quantity of food and variety of food. It was at least a 20 minute walk to the heart of Rome. We both agree that we wouldn't feel safe to do that walk alone, in that part of Rome (and again, we aren't 'fussy' travellers). Devamı

The hotel itself was everything I could have asked for and more for the price. Our room was lovely, very clean. The breakfast area was gorgeous and served a traditional Italian breakfast of coffee, breads and pastries. The only down side as is posted in other reviews is the location. The near train station area of Rome is, to say the least, not it's […] nicest neighborhood. Though if you come in on the train and you would like to avoid a walk through a somewhat shady area you could just take the subway two stops to Manzoni. This walk seemed much nicer than the walk from the Terminal. On the other hand the location is an excellent base location for sightseers, just ask the hotel staff for a great walking tour path. As a last-minute, cheap place to stay the hotel good. Walking distance from the main train station in Rome. The room had fully opening windows, the bathrooms were pretty old and the towels were a bit strange - like tablecloth. Minibar consisted of 2 bottles that had been refilled. However the staff were really helpful and the breakfast room/courtyard […] was quite nice. I wouldn't go there for an extended stay but as a place to overnight in Rome it was fine. Devamı

The three of us checked in and began to enjoy the hospitality of the staff, especially Carlo and Patricia. The morning continental breakfast (included in the room price) always included fresh croissants, large rolls, fresh coffee, and juice. The lovely wait staff were also the folks who tidied up our room...great job in both capacities. - The hotel […] itself is just a block away from either the bus or the tram that took us swiftly, easily to our destinations or to the Metro. The hotel is in the neigbourhood of the main train station Termini. Since we arrived at night (around 09:00 p.m.) at the train station, we took a taxi to the hotel, but the driver wanted € 20.- for a 5 min. trip........so you better check before sitting in the taxi. Then we received a room on the 1st floor on the main street "via di porta Maggiore", […] the room was clean but we could hear all night the train and noises from the street, you better take earplugs with you. Then we did not have terry towels, only linens which are used as towels and the breakfast is very moderate. However the hotel is in convenient walking distance to the metro station and therefore it is very easy to reach all sights from there. If you are looking for a little bit of comfort, I cannot recommend it. Devamı

Hotellets läge var bedrövligt, rena slumområdet. Vi var tvungna att köpa öronproppar för att kunna sova, pga spårvagnstrafik rätt utanför, Sängarna var stenhårda. Det som var bra var att det var rent och snyggt. Rummet var mysigt och personalen var i huvudsak trevlig. Det fanns även en safetybox på rummet. Kort sagt, man får vad man betalar för.

La chambre donnait sur rue et malgré les doubles vitrages, elle était extremement bruyante. Difficile de dormir. Pas de possibilité de changer de chambre.

Er rigtig pænt hotel, indeni. Charmerende og indbydende. Lækker, dog lidt sparsom morgenmad. Men beliggenheden minder om Enghave Plads/sydhavnen, med faldefærdige 70´er betonklodser over det hele, og en sporvogns runddel lige udenfor. På den anden side, er alting i gå-afstand, og hotellet ligger kun 10-15 min 's gang fra "hovedbanegården"

Man skal ikke vælge Donatello, hvis man ikke kan lide en rask gåtur. Bevares, der er busser og sporvogne tæt på, men der er ALTID overfyldt... Og så er jeg lidt skuffet over morgenmaden. Den var da absolut spiselig, men en croissant og en hård bolle + pakke m. 2 stk. ristet brød og lidt marmelade/honning. Det bliver ensformigt på 2 dage - og kunne […] sagtens findes andre steder til en lavere pris end 10 €. Devamı

Trevligt hotell som inte ligger mitt i smeten. Ok avstånd till buss och tunnelbana. Rena men ganska små rum. Hjälpsam personal.

bon acceuil avec des bons conseils touristique arrets de bus de tramways et de metro a deux pas

Boa localização, bom preço e ótimo quarto. O café da manhã é muito fraco.

Room was comfortable and nice, hotel was also kept clean and breakfast was at a very nice inner yard. Staff was very friendly and humorous. Only minus would be a little noise caused by traffic at the road. Everything worked very nicely and air conditioning at summer was also perfect.

Små men fina rum, bra med gratis safetybox och med kylskåp. Läget helt OK promenadavstånd till Colesseum och nära spårvagnen (linje 5 och 14) till buss och tåg-terminalen.

hotel is makkelijk te bereiken via Stazione Termini met de tram of bus. hotel is klein maar knus en het personeel vriendelijk het ontbijt bestaat uit een broodje en een croissant, als je normaal flink ontbijt heb je hier niet genoeg aan de kamers aan de straatkant zijn wel wat rumoerig in de buurt zijn veel kleine goede restaurantjes prijs/kwaliteitverhouding […] is goed wij hebbenhet naar ons zin gehad Devamı

La qualità dell'hotel non è assolutamente proporzionale al costo (150 euro/notte per una singola, con supplemento di altri 30 euro/notte per uso doppia), più che per la struttura in sè (particamente senza zona lobby alla reception) per il personale e la posizione (20-25 minuti dalla stazione termini di buon passo; quartiere di sera un po' inquietante). […] Ma, come dicevo, il pezzo forte è il personale: ci hanno bussato più volte in camera, durante il soggiorno, per "ricordarci" del supplemento; non mi hanno fatto fare check-out la sera prima - dovevo partire presto e non avevo molto tempo a disposizione -, e la mattina mi hanno fatto mille problemi per avere una ricevuta; ho assistito ad un colloquio con un turista straniero che chiedeva una prenotazione nottura per un taxi e l'addetto alla reception ha risposto che era impossibile. Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité de restaurants Italiens "non touristiques", proche du métro, proche d'un supermarché. Petit déjeûner copieux servi dans un endroit agréable, chambres propres et tout confort. A recommander pour un séjour en famille inoubliable à Rome.
