The Savoy Hotel - All Suites Beachfront - Miami Beach

I would in this Hotel hands down everytime I am in MIAMI. Close enough to the action and far enough to get a good night sleep to recharge the batteries...staff was awesome, clean rooms...very pleased. Cheers!

The hotel is updated and is nice for the money. The services aren't great but you are in a comfortable place with all the major amenities. The loccation is great for all the attractions and it is far enough from the party that you can relax. Beach access is great and close enough that you can still go back to your room easily without packing up all […] your stuff. Our room was in the secondary building and didn't have a view, but it is south beach so the only time you are in the room is to sleep. Overall great place for the money. Devamı

we were overall very pleased with the hotel with the exception of our room being on the first floor and the building being older you could hear the floors making noise all evening from the floor above guests walking around, the first evening we did not sleep at all due to the room above us packing to leave early morning as i found this out when i went […] to the lobby guest check in, the staff didn't seem to be able to say anything, however the gentlemen checking out and his family apologized for the noise not that it was there fault the floor sounds were so noisy, my husband seriously thought the ceiling might fall in.... i would stay again however request top floor - the other disappointment was the full fee resort fee added for the checkin day when we weret arriving until 8- 9 pm and the beach chairs and pool chairs were not accessable at that time, Devamı

Same as many other hotels in Miami. Old, worn out and dirty but nice staff, location and pool area. A cabinet door suddenly came loose and fell on the floor, not a big deal but a safety issue when we had an infant crawling around on the floor. Noisy A/C

I had good experience, however for the price, they can trian front desk personal better, the end of my trip was rushed because of front desk lack of knowlage.

This hotel is a perfect location in South Beach - one block north of the very busy Ocean Drive strip, on the beach, two pools, great ambience, outstanding staff and service with all suites rooms. We highly recommend this hotel.

Old and needing facelifts for the rooms very bad. No ice machine or room service that I could find. Hotel bar didnt carry Budlight and the bedroom 15yr old TV didnt work. Nice pool though and great location.

I searched for hours and hours reading reviews, locations, amenities and price. I was getting frustrated until i found the Savoy. The location is perfect, they are connected to the beach. Be careful of "Beach-Front or "Ocean-Front"" locations, which means they are across the street but in front of the beach. A few minutes walk up on Ocean Dr. and you've […] got bars and restaurants but you're away from the noise if you need to sleep ( I was there on business) The price is reasonable compared to all the other hotels, it is clean and the staff couldn't not have been nicer. From Tony at the curb to Mary at the front desk (Ciao Maria) to Rocky by the pool to the guy (sorry, I forgot your name) working the chairs on the beach. One of the most pleasant stays I've ever had, and I have traveled th world. Seriously, stop looking, ignore any bad reviews that may possibly come up about the Savoy and just book it. Devamı

A little gem in South Beach Miami just far enough away from the crowds for some peace and quiet, but close enough to join in the excitement when you want. Loved the easy access to the beach. Close to everything.

After reading some mixed reviews, we decided the good out weighed the bad and booked a night at the Savoy hotel before departing on our cruise. The staff were friendly, the drinks were strong (in a good way) and the accommodations were perfectly fine. In the evening, there was a wedding downstairs with loud music, but the hum from the street was the […] only noise when we went to sleep. There was a cold pool and a warm pool which was great for winter. The beach location was fantastic. The wireless speed was fine. We loved the french restaurant, Otentic, just walking distance away. Food from the Savoy was also good. Fries, wraps and sandwiches were yummy and well portioned. Beach side service is such fun! Devamı

Hotel as everything to be the perfect hotel in the area. Only the slightly dated look and finishes betray it. With a little bit of cosmetic work and update, it could easily be the place where you want to be staying. Indeed, it is charming and feels like an intimate hotel as it isn't one of these "factory" hotels with 5000 rooms, it is cosy, extremely […] well located and the service is very good. The beach is outstanding as you expect it to be on Ocean Dr and the pools are nice... A lot of good points overall... Only negatives are that the hotel and rooms could really afford a little refresh, and a better restaurant breakfast/food quality to jump into today's world, a true experience in luxury vacation getaway... The hotel is very well situated and close to the action, but far enough away from the action to not get the associated noise. It is literally on the beach with access to beach chairs and towels. The pool area was excellent with two pools and friendly staff to attend to you. The Savoy is an old hotel and not a large corporate chain, so you shouldn't expect everything to be luxurious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room and bed were very comfortable. If I were to stay longer, I would request a room with a dining table and inquire about dishes if you wanted to use the kitchenette. In our room the cupboards […] were bare, but there was a small fridge, microwave, bar sink, and coffee maker. Don't agree with other negative reviews about the cleanliness & lack of repairs. On our visit, everything was functional and clean. Not as luxurious or modern as the pictures might suggest, but perfectly adequate if you have the right expectations. Our room was on the 3rd (top) floor with a balcony & ocean view, maybe others are not in such a good shape... […] Location is GREAT, and staff was friendly & helpful. Valet parking is somewhat expensive, and there are no other good parking alternatives nearby. Beware that the private beach access gate is locked at night (not even your hotel key will open it) so you might need to climb the fence if you stay out on the beach late :) For breakfast, there a nice cafe right across - on 5th & ocean, I would recommend it over the hotel's restaurant. The location of the Savoy is fantastic. It's located right on the 4th block of Ocean Drive. It's close enough to all of the action but far away enough from the loud noise and restlessness of South Beach. The hotel has two very nice pools and what I consider it's biggest selling point, direct access to the beach. Most hotels on Ocean Drive don't have […] this. However, once you get past the beautifully decorated lobby, you begin to see where it fails. As we walked into the hallway, we noticed stains all over the carpet, paint peeling off the doors, and dirty walls. When we arrived in our room, the stained carpets continued. There was a pull out couch with cigarette burns and looking rather pathetic. Since there were three of us, I volunteered to sleep on the couch. When we pulled out the mattress, there was mold all over it. It was disgusting! The bathroom was clean and looked like it was recently renovated. However, the water pressure in the shower was very low. The water ran cold and just trickled down. The room had a little kitchennette with fully empty cabinets. Why have cabinets and not provide dishes or silverware? It did also have a little stove (but no pans to cook with), a dishwasher (again, no dishes to wash), a refrigerator, and a microwave. One of the saving grace for this hotel was the staff. They were very responsive to our requests and were very friendly. I know the hotel is under new ownership so hopefully they will invest in it and turn it into what this place could be: a real hidden gem! Devamı

Warning, this place is a good deal, but they are deceiving. Although they advertise as ALL SUITES, only half of the rooms actually have Kitchenettes as in the online picture. They did move us after one night, but I would have stayed somewhere else if I knew there was a risk of not having the kitchen.

I should know that a hotel will never be as nice as the pictures, but I was fooled again. The Savoy is fine, it is clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms are large and the location is great. It just wasn't as nice as I expected from the pictures. The restaurant lunch consisted of four items - hamburger, hotdog, chicken fingers - not the romantic lunch […] by the sea that I had envisioned on my drive down from Delray. A little slice of heaven in the city on the beach.

I was at the Savoy for Fourth of July weekend with my husband and daughter. I was meeting my cousins there. I had a standard suite, which still had a side view of the pool, along with ocean view. We had a balcony as well. All the general amenities were there. The pools were clean and they had plenty of cabanas and lounge chairs. The hotel provided 2 […] beach chairs and one umbrella if you want to go to the beach,which is a $13.00 resort fee charged daily. The staff were very professional and very accomodating considering the busy weekend. Since the hotel is pretty reasonably priced, you do get some riff raff. My cousin reserved an Ocean View room, which had three french doors that lead to three differenct balconies. Her room was even more beautiful. Once we got to the beach, we had a PERFECT view of the fireworks. But overall we had a great family experience there and I think we are going to do it again next year! Devamı

The Savoy Hotel was a complete disappointment. Day One, my family and I arrived at a place that looked nothing like the website pictures. Filthy stained hallway and room carpeting. My daughter was afraid to walk on the carpet in her room without shoes. A handle on the poolside shower fell off nearly striking my daughter on the head. One of the hotel […] front desk staff had a really bad attitude. Day Two, after a brief rain storm we decided to try the beach again. No beach towels were to be had anywhere. After three trips to the front desk, an employee passing by volunteered to get the towels for us. That's twenty five minutes of our lives we'll never get back. Day Three, my daughter complained of being nearly eaten in her sleep by bugs. She found quite a number on her bedsheets. She was moved to another room immediately after I complained to the front desk. The beach and ocean were the only saving graces for this hotel. Devamı

This hotel is located within walking distance to the heart of South Beach near Lummus Park on Ocean Drive, but has the benefit of being away from the noisy nightlife, crowds and traffic. The hotel was in beautiful, updated condition 10 years ago, but apparently they haven't invested any money into the accommodations since then. Everything is worn. Carpet […] needs replacing. Linens are sub-par. Some items/furniture in disrepair (hand-held shower nozzle held in place with closeline). Restaurant is dark and very overpriced. Gave the hotel a second try this year, but despite having my admin request the best room available for me, I got a bad room again. I will not stay their again, although my colleague was pleased with his room, and will return. The pool area is lovely, and private beach area is very nice as well. Devamı

After reading reviews I was skeptical, but your trip is what you make it. The staff was amazing! Soo helpful & accommodating. The location is lovely... the pool is great with a short walk to the beach behind your hotel. Yes, the rooms need to be updated (furniture/tvs), but this didn't bother me at all - you're in south beach - don't expect to be in […] ur room for long. If opting for a 1 bedroom suite try and get a pool or ocean view suite, they're much larger than a city view or one with no balcony (they gave me a free upgrade). It was so spacious with 2 bathrooms. The Savoy was not a bad stay at all. I had a great room and it was not as bad as some reviews made it seem. My room was clean and comfortable. I rarely stayed in it considering all the excitement there was going on over Memorial Day Weekend so I could careless about the decor. The bed was comfy enough for me to catch a few z's so that's all that mattered. […] The service was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at the Savoy again. The location was great and the private beach access was a bonus!!! The pool and bar area were also great ammenities that I definitely made use of!!! Once upon a time, this was an amazing place. That was about 20 years ago and unfortunately it doesn't look like they're done so much as paint a wall since. Still, it's hard to complain too much because the view from the upper floor room we had of the pool and ocean was amazing and the location in the heart of South Beach (including private beach front) […] can't be beat. Still, with all they have going for them it seems they should realize that they are missing an amazing opportunity to have one of the areas most desired properties. If they just spent a little money on a remodel they would get it back in spades. If you're looking for luxury (or even just something that isn't dilapidated), look elsewhere. If you want an affordable spot with a heated pool and it's own section of South Beach, check this place out. Devamı

Good location but a little run down. It's the little thngs that make the difference - no cupboard space for clothes. Sofa opened up as bed but very old and very uncomfortable. On the positive side - outdoor heated pool was great.

The reception and service was very good. The room was decent for the money, although they need to improve the beds as it made a lot of noise (mine and others around me!). The room was quite large with a separate living area. It is an older hotel, lot of history to it with a really nice pool, well situated to the South Beach scene and pretty quiet given […] the location. The only real advantage to this hotel is that it has direct beach access. The rooms are pretty bland and didnt feel that clean. Telephone was broken in bedroom, no remote control in bedroom for tv, and pull out couch and roll away bed was broken. For an older hotel it was not bad. Our room had been recently updated. While we saw the pools being cleaned, they didn't look clean later in the day. A bit pricey on the week ends, but you are steps away from South Beach. At least you will get a good nights sleep as the noise is further down the street. Muy recomendable, el personal muy atento y predispuesto, y las instalaciones impecables y al servicio de cada huésped. Sorprendió la amplitud y comodidad de la habiltación, que en realidad es un pequeño departamento con una mini cocina, 2 TVs en cada ambiente, y el baño cómodo y limpio. El servicio de playa es un detalle adicional que realza el servicio, […] y la plleta climatizada combina perfectamente para aquellos días más frescos. El valet parking debe mejorar, ya que hubo demoras al pedir el auto para salir. Definitivamente es una opción totalmente recomendable para quienes buscan en MIami Beach una cuota de tranquilidad,, a escasos minutos de lo mejor de Ocean Drive y Lincoln Rd. Devamı

Fantastisk hotell med sjel, veldig god service og perfekt beliggenheit. Hovudinngang fra Ocean Drive og 50mtr til fantastiske South Beach på andre sida, der hotellet har egne solstolar og servering :-) Pass på å få rom med pool erller oceanview. Her blir du garantert fornøgd. vi kjem garantert igjen, terningkast 6 :-)

Lage abseits vom Zentrum (Duval Street), Zimmer und Betten nicht wirklich sauber, Fliegengitter verklemmt... Zustand mittelmässig bis schlecht. War OK für eine Nacht, würde aber nicht wieder hingehen.

Inicialmente achei caro, mas adorei o quarto com antesala e cozinha equipada. E as facilidades da piscina e do acesso à praia com infraestrutura do hotel me conquistaram. Só não gostei quando no checkinm e disseram que iam cobrar U$ 150 como taxa adicional, mas depois me explicaram que seria para débito do consumo no hotel e o que eu não usasse seria […] devolvido.
