Best Western Annapolis - Annapolis

The staff here was very nice even changed our room to a ground level since we were staying 5 days. Also very helpful with local places to eat, Mike's was very yummy loved the crabcakes :)

Not the BEST Best Western I've stayed at, but not too bad. I guess it was more like a Not Bad Western. The outside entrances to the rooms was a bit disappointing, as all the Best Westerns I've stayed in before had interior entrances. However, the hotel wasn't too far from downtown Annapolis. Mattress was very soft in the middle and we keep rolling to the center. Room was noisy from outside noise. Breakfast was better than expected.

Typical Best Western, 2 star hotel, but the location for this one is great and the customer service and breakfast service was wonderful.

Nice Breakfast, convenient easy access

Convenient location and lots of access to surrounding shops and restaurants. I requested a non-smoking room, but I could still smell the smoke either stuck in the room or coming from somewhere. The room was clearly non-smoking. Fitness room was ok...could be a lot better. Overall, not too bad of a hotel.

Very clean hotel however looks like it is showing signs of wear and tear. Restaurants nearby walking distance. TV in at least 2 different rooms had very poor picture quality - not sure if it was poor cable reception or tvs were bad. Breakfast was decent and had lots of choices. Internet was not powerful but did the basic job. The double tree next door […] is much nicer for not much more money. If you plan to sleep and go then this is a clean hotel to do that. This was as expected for the price. Good place for a short term stay, once you find it. The sign on the street is small and unlighted. You have to wend your way through the parking lots for other businesses to get to the building which is not easy to spot while driving.

Comfortable room. Clean. Friendly staff. Good value. A friend and I make an annual one night trip to Annapolis and have stayed there the last 4 or 5 years in a row. Will be there again next year.

We had booked a month ahead to stay the night after coming in from an international flight and did not get in until two in the morning. They were very helpful in letting us check out at noon instead of eleven. The breakfast was spot on and the older lady was very cordial and kept the dining room so clean you could eat off the floors. Noise from the upstairs room and noise from the parking lot was unacceptable: I would not stay in this motel againn!!!!!!!

You're going to get what you pay for in this "hotel". Though I guess it's technically a hotel because access to the rooms is indoors, there are two (maybe three) different buildings making this feel much more like a motel than a hotel. The ice maker in our building so we had to use one in another building. Didn't wake up in time for breakfast so don't […] know if that was any good. Older facility, super nice staff. Rooms are small, and all outside noises are easily heard.

I was quite surprised with my dissappointment because the Best Western Hotels', (in Massachusetts and other states I have stayed at a Best Western) quality of hotel service was very satisfactory. Unfortunately, we were dissappointed in the condition/maintenance and cleanliness of our room. There were about five rooms reserved for our family member's […] "reunion" and all five members had trouble with the quality of their rooms. Two out of the five members who reserved rooms had problems with insects sighted in their rooms; room service never came to clean our room on Saturday. There were no clean towels brought unless we called the front desk. However, I will say the woman who worked at the front desk, Saturday late evening was quite helpful because I left my key in the room and I understood her reasons for questioning me about my information. She promptly replaced my key and I apologized for the inconvenience I caused her; yet she was very understanding, helpful and patient. The woman who worked the "continental breakfast" each a.m. was also quite pleasant and helpful. In addition to helping me, I saw her help the other hotel guests with their questions regarding working the waffle machine, coffee, etc. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my concerns with your hotel. Front Desk staff was awesome..rooms are basic but clean...these folks seemed to actually appreciate my business

I had 5 rooms for 3 days as a traveling rock band. The hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were spacious,great location, good breakfast ,fitness center and everything you need is around the area. i would stay they again for business ....

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and in good shape. They have complimentary internet that you don't need a separate passcard to access, which was nice since I had to do some work at the hotel. It's no Hilton, but you get a very good deal for the price.

We stay at this hotel every two months or so, and we have never had a problem until this visit - clogged toilet and a TV that did not work - everyone was very nice and tried to help, but thing just didn't change much during our stay. But, we will probably try staying there again....

I asked for a non-smoking room and I returned from work to find my room was filled with cigarette smoke and I had even left the Air Conditioning off. The smoke stench was so thick that when I brought my garment bag home I had to dispose of it because it filled my house with the stench. Interestingly after I complained they moved me to the non-smoking […] building that for some reason wasn't available when I checked in even though the parking lot was empty. This hotel is what you'd expect of a Best Western. Nothing special but comfortable, with amenities that count (free breakfast, wi-fi and parking) and a swimming pool in the summer months. Good for families. It's away from the central (historic) part of town but a short drive. And if you want to stay in the center of historic Annapolis there are plenty […] of quaint and more expensive options to choose from. I was here on a college visit with my son and stayed in the hotel while he overnighted at St. John's College. For parents visiting their student at SJC or midshipman at the Naval Academy this is fine--especially if a younger brother and sister is in tow. It's across a busy street from a big shopping mall and all the chain eateries are nearbye. 5 minutes drive to old Annapolis. It's near other chain hotels of comparable value. My only knock is that this one is set back from busy Riva Road a bit and I passed it several times, trying to find it in the dark, even with google maps. Look for the Doubletree, which is closer to the street. The Best Western is behind it. Devamı

being a midshipman parent, the location of the hotel is great. It's very conveniently located near shopping and dining. The complimentary breakfast buffet was just enough to start the day too. The only thing i was not thrilled about was that the sheets didn't stay tucked in on the bed and by morning, the mattress was showing. Maybe BW needs to invest […] in some better fitting linens. Found this hotel when trying to not break the bank on a wedding celebration trip to Annapolis. The two day stay was made more pleasurable by the accomodations which where mostly for sleeping and enjoying the great continental breakfast allowing for less worries and more opportunity for shopping. Close to all the conveniences one would need.

Let me say I am not that picky of a person as to where we stay as long as I know the place is clean. I can tell the bathroom floor was not mopped as there were drops of something and there were water drops on top of the toilet tank and rings in the tub area that appeared to be from something places on the corner ledges. And is the cloth shower curtain […] replaced with every new customer? At least I could tell the toilet seat was cleaned...all of that is just the bathroom. Vanity area had areas of dust and when I used the faucet, water would shoot all over the counter. This is a motel, not a hotel. I have stayed in a few Motel 6 that were far less expensive and more roomy & MUCH cleaner. My guess is (not so) Best Western took over the Motel 6 and raised the prices. Good luck. Devamı

Breakfasts very good. Bed horrible. We got the mattress replaced right away, but the (supposedly) new mattress was still poor, much too soft. It was great to get home to a really comfortable, fairly firm, 35 year old, mattress. Otherwise all OK.

The staff was friendly and I really wanted to like this hotel, but it was an awful stay. Our room was in the building in the back and there were some seedy characters around. Both nights there was a man sleeping in his truck right outside our room. Between the sounds of cars on the highway and noisy neighbors, we didn't slep much. We were also late […] to events at the Naval Academy due to a power outage caused by the blowdryer. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for maintenance to even arrive on the premises. The T.V. was in black and white and after it was fixed, the adevtisement menu for adult entertainment interrupted every other minute. So much for watching the World Series. I wanted a convenient hotel to stay near the Hall of Records in Annapolis. Very convenient, great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. I will be back.

The hotel is well located on the outskirts of Annapolis, but the price is too high for the quality of the rooms. Nothing was terrible, but the room was humid, so everything felt slightly damp. The bathroom is incredibly cramped, and at 5'8" I barely had room in the shower over my head. I expect this kind of accommodation at a Motel 6 where I am paying […] one half the cost of this room. Safety concern in that the outside door that supposedly opened with a key card was actually unlocked the whole 3 days I was there. But the room was clean if a little grim. Like a motel 6 basically that just costs more cuz of the location. If you get it on sale I'd recommend it basically. I stayed here for the boat show and was very disappointed. The rooms were just okay, fairly clean but definitely in need of updating and they could have done a better job of daily cleaning. (The same popcorn kernel stayed on the floor for 3 days.) Every footstep from the room above was loud and the traffic noise was too. We stayed very last minute after the boat show. I was a little concerned but overall it turned out to be a great choice. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel was simple but clean. The fact they ran a shuttle to the boat show was a pleasant bonus. Only complaint was weak, watery coffee at breakfast.

An older motel with not much to boast about. Outside hallways with older, wet carpeting leads to an average sized room. The room I stayed in had wet carpeting inside next to the bathroom. The air conditioning unit cycled on and off loudly all night making it difficult to sleep. Second floor rooms are walk up. Hopefully your luggage isn't heavy. I love this location. Walking distance to shopping, access to highways. It's back off the main road great for my child to walk around and have grass space to play. Staff are fantastic, rooms are clean. I've stayed here several times and will continue. I like the ease of parking at the door when traveling with a small child. No elevators.

I stayed for three night and it was a very okay hotel. No specific complains and nothing to really rave about. There is some shopping, a mall and restaurants within walking distance and ample parking if walking isn't for you. It was affordable and the waffles didn't suck. I'd probably stay there again.
