Oasis Cancun All Inclusive - Cancun

We enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Very friendly personnel.

My family of four spent 11 days at the Oasis Cancun, and I was a little worried about what we would find at this resort providing all of the mixed reviews. But I must say our experience was amazing! I had read complaints about the restaurants, their hours and their food quality. Our first day n a half we did have a bit of trouble but the front desk […] had handed out a little map that told you the name of each restaurant, it's location, what meal(s) it served and the times. This was very helpful! We knew right where to go and when! Some restaurants were sit down dining and others were buffet style. This was also indicated on the map from the front desk. Also, the food was great! Lots of variety, True everything was not to my liking, but there was so much to choose from, you could just go back and get something else or order a new entree. The pools were incredible - probably my favorite part! I was also impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance. The resort was always super-clean! Pools were cleaned daily, floors polished daily, landscaping maintained regularly, and we even saw them painting and replacing some decking boards. The staff was friendly and helpful and after being there for 11 days, some even knew us by name! The Oasis shares property with the Grand Oasis which had great nightly shows and you could find a live band some evenings. Originally, our room was a bit too cramped for our family of four. We requested a roll away bed, but in the end we upgraded to a larger room. Overall it was an incredible experience! I would recommend this resort for families, couples, etc. FYI the all inclusive drinks were served in plastic cups - no bottles. Which makes sense since you don't want to have broken glass everywhere. :-) Devamı

We endured 5 of 7 days in a hotel room with leaking air conditioning unit, leaving the floor with 1/4" of water, dripping at a rate of approx. 4-6 cups per hour, with each drop splashing on the floor that it could be heard from the outside with the door shut. Complained 8 (!) times to hotel management before it was fixed. The noise in the "A" frame […] style building, with all floors open to the interior, was very roudy at night due to spring breakers, as their screaming reverberated through the entire building. Apart from the above two, the grounds were absolutely perfect and many chairs/beds available throughout the day. Tip: Pay the extra $$$ and stay in the Grand Oasis, as the noise level is more reasonable, and you have a better chance of having the property services quickly, as this is their showcase room. Food was OK, however a disappointment as we booked an all-inclusive with supposed access to all restaurants; upon arrival we were informed that we did not purchase the package that includes all, hence we had to contend with fewer (5) options at night. I do not recommend this property unless you stay in the Grand Oasis. Devamı

The Oasis Cancun was much worse than I expected. Reading the reviews and comparing prices before I left I did not expect luxury. I expected an average hotel with a young party crowd. However common services offered by even the cheapest of hotels would have been nice. The bed sheets had holes in them, the rooms were cleaned twice in the week we were […] there, the food was terrible, and service was horrible, the towels in the room were stolen and we were charged for them. The hotel had a spring break atmosphere, which as 3 25 year old men going, that was the reason we chose this location. That being said even if you are looking for a party, I would recommend staying somewhere else and going out to the clubs at night. Devamı

A good budget saving recommendation. The hotel buildings and it's furnishings are outdated. The food, services, location and accesibility are at reasonable price meaning you get what you paid for. I would say this place is better than the other hotels around the area with the same rating.

My spouse and our two kids enjoyed our stay at the hotel and resort. The staff were friendly and helpful although there seemed to be a disconnect as we received different information about the resort from different hotel staff. The food ranged from good to excellent. We ended up going to the buffets more than the restaurants due to the larger selection […] for the children. The interior hotel 'garden' resembled a moon-scape with dead-looking leafless trees situated in gravel. I would suggest booking in the Grand Oasis next door which had a beautiful hanging garden but shared the resort area with this hotel. The hotel guests were well behaved with only a few loud arguments happening at 5:00 am. Try not to get a room near the entrance to the lobby as sound travels in this hotel. A good selection of guests were here from around the world. The beach area was well maintained with lifeguards actively engaged. There were convenience stores within a five minute walk of the hotel. The ATMs did not work in the hotel or adjacent Grand Oasis hotel on the morning of our checkout so I had to walk to a bank five minutes away. I definitely will go back to Cancun but if we went all inclusive I would upgrade to the Grand Oasis. Devamı

The Oasis is the party place to be on Cancun! Lots of fun at the pool, great beach, great food a la Carte and buffet style but the hotel itself its old. My room had a balcony leak the only night it rained and everything on the floor got wet, we called the lobby so we could switch rooms and told us they didnt have any empty rooms so we had to stay there. […] The hotel itself is for young party people, there are activities by the pool each day and you might not even need to go outside the premises. The location is fine, its just on the boulevard and you could get on a bus just right outside of the lobby. Theres a brazilian churrasco rest, a sushi bar (always packed), a mediteranean rest, a mexican rest, a beach front fast food lounge and plenty of bars through the hotel. If you wanna party this is the place to be, though I recommend staying at the Grand Oasis which is on site (different building) and you get nicer rooms and a few extra restaurants. Devamı

Best Hotel for 18's to 35's if they want to party!

The rooms are ugly, dirty, abandoned... And the service is by far the worst I ever had. Don't go! // Las habitaciones están feas, sucias, abandonadas... Y el servicio es por mucho el peor que me ha tocado en la vida. ¡No vayan!

bad experience there, people outside the hotel very kindly but people in the lobby was the worst, food isn´t good.

When we arrived at the hotel room, the room is not ready and it smelled bad. Cleaning people speaks no English so we couldn't communicated with them. The room service is not consistent. One good thing is that we can get clean towels when we ask. Food in buffet is pretty bad. 4 out of 10. Coffee is very watered down. Cancun is in the tropical area that […] you would expect very delicious fruits. But the fruits used in hotel has no taste. I don't know where they get their fruits. The drinks are unlimited, It is ok. We signed up the Parasail at the lobby which worked out really well. I highly recommend this. The advise we got on driving direction to Chichen Itza was off a little. You need to pass the airport then turn to highway 180D to Merida. Direction needs more accuracy like what isthe name of the high way, They need to have good map at the lobby. There are a lot of people focusing on selling you package or vacation deals but hotel should put some emphasis to do a better job in room, food, concierge. The sitdown dinner is better. Good service. Food is 6 out of 10. New Year's Eve buffet had more variety but some seafood smell bad. If they can offer better quality stuff for a small surcharge, it will avoid waste but more enjoyable experience for customers. I spend the last week of 2011 in this hotel, and honestly I DONT RECOMMEND IT, this hotel is the worst all inclusive plan in town, the bathroom was very dirty not only when we checked in, but one day after it, the maintenance lady said that they didnt have enough cloride to clean!!! It is an old place and needs to be refurbished... our room was at the […] very worst location, had to be listening to the disco until 1 o clock every night. They put me in a wrong room. The front desk didn't get me someone in charge for a long time so that I stayed at the front desk for over an hour. They said we don't have the room for you now, so if you want, you can go to another hotel. I really don't like their attitude. Besides, I cannot eat in all of their restaurant. Although they claim that it's […] all-inclusive, some of the restaurants require that I have the black bracelet, while I have a purple bracelet. That is not fair at all. The location is pretty far from the center of the hotel zone, but it's good since we spend all the time in there. Room is old, but food is great and service is good.

This is hands-down one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. It looks ok from a distance but don't be fooled – it's basically a truck-stop Motel on the beach. As soon as we checked in we knew we had made a mistake. Ignored at front desk, ignored by the bellhop, unhelpful/unapologetic staff. The rooms are very old and at some point they may have […] tried to do a renovation but quit half way through. For example, the wing we were put in had no working elevators (of course no sign indicating out of order) our patio door didn't open, all the fixtures and lighting were falling apart, the shower was clogged and essentially everything was disintegrating, lots of bad patch work things done. Our favorite part was the floor of the atrium – parts had been jack hammered up, and the debris left as "decorative" piles along the walk way - like it was an art statement. It also smelled of oil, so who knows what they are digging up. The rooms are very loud, so don't think you'll get any sleep, we were blasted with yelling staff from the hallways and construction outside (at 4am). Nothing is insulated. Some of these things could be overlooked but when the front desk staff basically tell you to bugger off it becomes unacceptable. And each trip to the front desk we observed many other customers complaining and pleading for something – and each time they were brushed off. THERE IS NO WATER to be found in this hotel. We were told to fill up our old water bottles at the restaurant. Some nice things: the wait staff at the buffets are friendly and helpful. the grounds are fairly nice. The AC unit didn´t work !!! I had to gave the idea to the hotel staff to change my room because after 5 times I reported the problem no one from maintenance showed up. The restaurants were crowded all the time and ran out of food on the buffet!! Only one spot to get your beach towells, and the hotel is huge !! Poor staff. The hotel it s very nice...the location it s just perfect..on my opinion have the best beach in all Cancun!! the food was amazing with more than 5 different restaurant! I was very impressed by the resort and services. The customer service and experience was great. All of the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was great as well as the options and entertainment. I read the reviews prior to going and they were mixed, that's why I was more than pleased with my experience. The bus stop was in front of the hotel […] and we were able to catch the bus everywhere. Everyone in town heard of our hotel, so that made it easy to find our way. Overall, I was more than happy with my experience and would definitely go back again. Devamı

Location was great..food and service are amazing..internet was way too expensive..but overall the quality of the food and the service was great...

The staff is friendly, the food and drinks are really good and the atmosphere is fun and young.. Bad things- expensive wifi and the location is alittle far from downtown and big hotels.. We had a great experience though!

This was a beautiful place to stay. This hotel has the largest pool of all the hotels I've stayed at in the Cancun hotel zone district. The pool is very clean with plenty of seating all around to lay out and relax. There are also nice swim up bars. The food in the various restaurants were very tasty. My favorite were the Mexican restaurant and Dos Lunas. […] They also have a restaurant which has all different types of meat...I believe it's Argentinian style...so they come to your table and ask you if you want to try...chicken, filet mignon, pork, etc...nice variety. The hotel is right on the beach and a nice beachfront it is. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is just up the street from Aquaworld, which is a local dive shop. Very convenient if you like to dive. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable, but definitely keep the sliding glass door closed if you run the air. Too much warm air, then there's a lot of condensation making the floor wet and slippery. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends and family. Devamı

The service was excellent, all staff members were very helpful, courteous; this made my stay pleasant and enjoyable. It was refreshing to treated so well with so little effort as the staff really showed how much they wanted your stay to be pleasant.

Resort was in a great location, but where in the Cancun hotel zone isn't ? Hotel was clean and well kept as expected from previous reviews, Some of the buffet food could use some help but you can find something for everybody and get plenty of it. This is not a 5 star resort but then again it is not a dingy place to stay either. We stayed five days for our spring break vacation and only came to Cancun to party, party, party. This hotel caters good for young party people, it even has two nightclub spots that I saw on the property. The food was from OK to great depending on which spot you dined. […] The buffet food was not so great in general, however the restaurants food were fantastic. Just make sure to make reservations in advance to avoid waiting in long lines. The pool is nice with swim up bar and the beach is just absolutely fantastic. They hand you the hotel information and daily activities schedule in the room key envelope, make sure to read that as we found out about it on the last day. Devamı

Spring Break in Cancun brings a lot of people and that reflected the overall service from Oasis. The worst part was definitely the neatness of the hotel...

Slitet och gammalt hotell med akut behov av renovering av huvudbyggnad och entre. Mörkt och gammalt. Dock är restauranger, poolområde och övriga byggnader väldigt trevligt och snyggt. Hotellet lockar mycket yngre "spring-break" folk ifrån nordamerika och är bitvis väldigt partyinriktat. Störande nattliv varje natt i lyhörda rum. Personalen är generellt […] trevliga och tillmötesgående (ej i reception dock) och servicen väldigt god. Maten är generös och både av internationell och Mexikansk karaktör med rikligt och fräscha grönsaker och frukt. Jag kan dessvärre inte rekommendera hotellet främst pga det högljudda nattlivet och hotellets skick. Annars var vi hyfsat nöjda. Devamı

El Hotel cuenta con tres fases, en la que nos alojamos es muy vieja, no ha tenido mantenimiento por muchos años, las camas (matrimoniales) las tienen pegadas. Las habitaciones parecen sucias y tienen muy mal holor (humedad) mal servicio en la recepción, lento y el personal no es cortés. Es todo ¿incluído? La comida estava muy muy buena..con muchas variedad.. el mar tambien a mi parer estuve lo mejor de toda la zona hotelera.. falta solo de un poco de organization y la animacion es un poco pobre.. pero en general comentario mas que positivo :-)

Se vc procura conforto, boa comida, instalações agradáveis, fuja desse hotel!!!! Quarto com muito cheiro de mofo, cama úmida, banheiro muito antigo e sujo, toalhas e roupas de cama sujas e manchadas. Passei um noite super desagradável e descobri que o Grand Oásis Cancun, anexo ao Oásis, é um hotel 5 estrelas, de excelente nível, excelente comida, gente […] bonita, etc. Por mais alguns dólares por dia vc pode fazer o upgrade na recepção. Faça, pois vc poderá usufruir de mais de 20 restaurantes e drinks especiais. Hotel exclusivamente para jovens, não vi casais ou crianças. Fica longe das baladas mas o hotel dispõe de transfer. O hotel em geral é bom. Pontos Positivos: A praia em frente ao hotel é linda demais! A Piscina também. O hotel oferece restaurantes de frente para o mar que fica muito bonito. O serviço é all inclusive mesmo, bares funcionam o dia todo dando tudo que é tipo de bebidas e também snacks. Os restaurantes são mjuito bons. A localização é boa pois fica perto […] do centro e perto também do aeroporto, que de táxi fica bem rápido ou para quem prefere pegar ônibus (o que é muito barato em cancun) tem um ponto bem na frente do hotel. Pontos negativos: Nós tínhamos reservas para quarta-feira, mas pudemos chegar somente na sexta-feira, liguei comunicando que chegaríamos mais tarde e não pedi reembolso, mesmo assim na sexta-feira tivemos que esperar até o horário das 15 horas para fazer o check in para entrar no quarto. De noite tem muito barulho de músicas e gritos pelo hotel e que chega nos quartos. Acho que o mais desagradável foi encontrar uma camisinha em baixo da nossa cama que provavelmente ficou dos hóspedes que estavam ocupando o quarto anteriormente. Apesar dos dissabores o hotel compensa bastante, especialmente pela praia ser muito bonita. Devamı

La zona 3 del hotel esta pesima. Muy mal servicio. Habitaciones sucias, pesima distribuci[on del mobiliario (CAMAS). Mala calidad en general. Muy lento el tramite de check in y no entregaron facturas en el check out. Toooodo lo cobran extra. No hubo toallas para la alberca.

En general no es un mal hotel, pero ya esta muy viejo y tuvimos varios problemas solo hay un par de elevadores y se descomponen con frecuencia, nos toco una habitación en el ultimo piso donde faltaban varios pedazos en los tragaluces por lo que cuando llovía se inundan los pasillos, el ventanal del cuarto se azotaba con el viento y se metió el agua […] de la lluvia hasta que se inundo el cuarto, hablamos varias veces a recepción pero nunca mandaron a nadie. La comida en los restaurantes estuvo bien y de buena calidad, el personal muy accesible y amables y las albercas muy cómodas para los niños. La verdad es que me pareció que la tarifa era muy baja pero si te aguantas las incomodidades te la pasaras bien Devamı

This hotel is the worst thing I and my children have experienced. . TV did not work, assigned to several recalls nothing happened. . The toilet did not flush, attributed to several recalls nothing happened. . At breakfast, lunck and dining, we had to queue up between half to one hour. . The rooms were so poor isolated that it was not possible to put […] up nightly festivities. . The food ran out quickly, so we ate our fill of bread. . When I pointed out the hotel's shortcomings said staff at the front desk "you must take what is offered you." Avoid this hotel as far as you can. Devamı

Hotel com filas em todos os lugares: check in, check out, restaurantes e bares. Acabamento dos quartos precário. TV com chiado na imagem. Restaurantes com restrição para determinados hóspedes, dependendo do seu tipo de quarto, sem essa informação de forma clara na porta do restaurante. Comida dos bares muito ruim. E de alguns restaurantes também.

Staf muito atencioso, quartos bons, mas com cheiro de mofo, internet MUITO cara (24h para serem usadas em áté 7 dias por 20usd) e não funcionava direito. Comida, bebida e programação social / cultural excelentes.

É tudo de bom!!!!!

PLAYA: muy bonita con mucho espacio, playa bonita y limpia! ALBERCA: muy grande, esta limpia tambien RESTAURANTES: hay restaurantes diversos, comida es rica (la mexicana no tanto..), tiempo de esperear en la noche antes de entrar al restaurante a la carte, a veces el mesero esta muy estresado con mucha gente y no tiene mucho tiempo para cada quien, […] de todos modos siempre son amables y te dan todo lo que pides BARES: bares situados en la alberca son superchidos! servicio esta bien, hay muchas cosas para escoger tambien, mucha diversidad! Todo junto nos gusto mucho la estancia en el Oasis cancun, tienes bastane variedad!! Era bastante para nosotros, si quieres mas lujo, escoga algo con mas servicios (por ejemplo: minibar, servicio a habitacion etc. = Grand Oasis) Devamı
