Hyatt Regency Cleveland At The Arcade - Cleveland

It was an ok experience. It was the Easter week-end and just about all the shops in the arcade were closed. I was there to visit "Rock Hall", I really enjoyed the experience'

Cleaned room and didn't rplace toilet paper, had to call a couple of times to get TP. Also asked for coffee cups for room and took may times to get. My room key on the day of check out was losked twice.

First off the hotel is a beautiful old building. Inside is gorgeous with lots of character. The location is walking distance to all the sports facilities, the R&R Hall of Fame, and a ton of bars and restaurants. The hotel bar and restaurant were excellent, albeit somewhat overpriced. The staff were friendly & knowledgable. Room was clean & comfortable, although our drain was clogged in the bathtub. The only complaint I have would be the guests. There was a wedding going on and the guests were quite loud and rude.

This hotel is architecturally very interesting, in an old shopping arcade that's been nicely restored. The staff was extremely kind, going out of their way to help, whether that meant finding me a room with a view or calling a local coffee shop to make sure it was open. Room was comfy, if a little outdated (and completely beige). The surrounding neighborhood […] was just OK. East 4th street, full of wonderful restaurant's, is just steps away, but there's not much going on in the immediately vicinity, and the area was dead on weekends. The building was really cool. Historical. It is even more impressive that you get the nostalgia of the aged and time-tested building, while still getting modern amenities, and superior comfort and cleanliness. If you want to enjoy Downtown Cleveland, this is the location and room that you want.

Hotel is very neat in a historic sense. Very clean, comfortable beds. Service was excellent and very friendly. Be sure to use the valet parking, it costs 20 dollars to stay in the parking deck next to hotel, 23 for valet parkIng (plus tips) but the extra couple dollars is well worth it. Only complaint is having to pay 14 dollars for a small pot of coffee, […] when we wanted it late at night and couldn't find it anywhere else. No coffee makers in the room, only room service coffee. Our hotel room overlooked East 4th Street and was within easy walking distance to Tower City and The Q and Progressive Field, as well as all of the night life on West 6th Street. Honestly, one of our favorite things about our stay was the Corner Alley - A bar/bowling alley directly across the street from the hotel. There were plenty of fun restaurant […] and bars on East 4th, and there's Guy's Pizza and a Starbucks on the same street as the hotel. Everything was so convenient - We never had to get our car out of the garage! I've stayed in several hotels in Cleveland, but this one was by far my favorite. Devamı

I can never sleep in at a hotel because of noise in the hallway. Our room was nestled away from the noise and, it was quietly wonderful. The location was perfect to walk to the Funny Bone and enjoy John Caparula. We also enjoyed the food in the local restaurants. Great time!

We love staying at this hotel when we come to Cleveland. The location is great & is right across the street from the popular E. 4th Street with tons of restaurants, nightlife, etc. The rooms are clean & the staff is great. I would suggest this hotel to anyone!

I love the hotel and this was my second time there. The staff is fantastic and service is great. The neighborhood is getting hard to navigate with many people targeting tourists on East 4th St. asking for money when you exit the many nice restaurants near the House of Blues. The Hyatt was a very nice hotel. It was beautiful in the inside with stores and resturaunts. Our room was beatiful with a view of the city and the people and room service was great!!! It was well worth the money. I will definitly stay there again.

The arcade is a really unique space, and it was nice to walk down the backlit stairs and through the atrium each morning. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the main metro station and right near a pedestrian street with many restaurants. Service was polite and accommodating.

Great service, and a beautiful building. We could have used a map, it took us a very long time to locate the ice machine. The surrounding area was nice, exactly the part of Cleveland we wanted to be in, and we didn't even need to take a bus anywhere. However, on Sunday, almost everything in downtown Cleveland was closed, leaving us a bit out of options […] for things to do. If you plan on staying over a weekend, prepare to travel on Sunday to get to something interesting. Devamı

If you love interesting architecture this is a fun hotel. My room was actually a former arcade shop or business. It was fun to walk out of my room and be in the arcade. The hotel staff was very pleasant and responsive. It is close to the major attractions in Cleveland like the Q, Progressive field, and East 4th Street.

Good hotel (although a tad worn) in the heart of Cleveland, especially convenient to both baseball and football. The service at the front desk either early or late is very spotty although professionally staffed and helpful (and accommodating) during the day. Convenient coffee shop, and nice bar near the lobby. Beautiful old building close to both the Indians and Browns stadiums and lots of interesting dining and entertainment options. Staff were first-rate friendly. Parking garage right next door. We'll be back.

Hotel was very nice and the staff extremely friendly. Disappointed there was no shuttle service from the hotel to area attractions.

We had to change rooms upon arrival as our first room smelled like an ashtray. It wasn't like someone had smoked in there earlier in the day it was the carpet, drapes and bedspread that stunk. We moved down the hall and the smell was gone although the new room didn't have a safe...which we like to have for valuables.

This is our favorite hotel in Cleveland! We often stay here to avoid driving back home to Akron after a concert or football game and a night of partying. We love the atmosphere of the old historical building itself (can you believe they thought about tearing it down?) not to mention the cute little shops on the bottom floors. We always have drinks at […] the Hyatt bar and breakfast in their restaurant where the service and staff are most accommodating and friendly, not to mention the delicious food and drinks! Our bartender recommended Zinc, a french restaurant near the Colonial Market and we were not disappointed! There is so much available near and across the street from the Arcade that it's impossible not to find something to do! Our room was immaculate- and has always been the numerous times we have stayed at the Arcade Hyatt. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have slept on- which says a lot because we travel quite extensively and have slept in some wonderful hotels with really uncomfortable beds! And did I mention the reasonable rates? There are several "other" fancy hotels in the area that charge a much more expensive rate for less than comparable service and less cleaner accommodations-we know because we have stayed at them and they did not compare! Got this downtown hotel at a great rate through Hotels.com. Our room overlooked 4th street, which has several restaurants and bars and is a short walk through to Progressive (which was our ultimate destination). Very nice, historical hotel - we'd definitely stay there again. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

i reserved a smoking king bed room. when we arrived they putt us in a non-smoking room that charges an extra $250 if you lite up. so when we called down to the lobby to ask for the rite room, it had been givin to someone else. WE left that room went to lobby and then was apporched by a woman who claimed to be a manager that was NOT in a uniform or had […] no name tag! She was rude and made us uncomfortable. So we cancelled our stay there and went somewere else. Then to find out that was not the manager when i called and complained a few days later, there was a $50 charge on my credit card! We love this hotel! Always perfectly maintained, the staff couldn't be friendlier or more accomodating! The Arcade is such a beautiful landmark and the surrounding neighborhood, which is totally walkable, gives you plenty of options for food and entertainment. We ALWAYS stay here as compared to other more expensive and pretentious hotels! And the cost […] is even better! Overall not the Hyat experience I'd expect. Average is not what I'd expect from Hyat...

This hotel is a super use of a landmark space, the beds were excellent and we slept well. I appreciate that they have a coffee bar in the lovely lobby, but need that first cup to get going and was surprised there was no coffee maker in the room. The hotel lobby was being repainted, hopefully they'll update the chair (sunfaded and cushion worn) and the […] furniture (desk was also a bit weary, some chipping and scratching) which was a bit disappointing for 3 and a half stars, the fitness room looked well stocked, good location and pleasant and helpful staff Devamı

Exceptional staff, very customer focused. Maybe better than any other hotel in that respect. I generally stay at Westin hotels. Room outside windows were dirty. Room was spacious but weird to have a column in the center of the room. My biggest fear is bed bugs. I didn't see any and if I had that would be the end of any potential business for that hotel […] chain ever again in my lifetime. Devamı

This beautiful hotel is inside the Arcade shopping center in downtown Cleveland. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us direction to a local entertainment area. We walked from the lobby through the indoor shopping area, out the door and across the street to Cleveland's East Fourth St. entertainment area - a block or two of fun bars and rest […] aurants. Hotel was nice enough. Personnel very friendly. Had to ask for our breakfast credit, did not receive welcome package promised at check-in. The TV was pretty small and old for a 4+ star hotel. Probably would stay somewhere else if we were in Cleveland again.

Our experience was not at all what I expected for a Hyatt hotel. First, we we given a room right next to the elevators and could hear them ALL night. There was electrical tape on the arms of our desk chair. We did not have actual cable TV (alot of ESPN channels & new channels) which was not helpful when traveling with two kids. Though we did have plenty […] of pay-per-view movies! The front desk was not informed about the sites around town. The worst was the room service. WAY over priced and NOT good. The food was bland and not fresh. I supose the hotel would be okay for a business trip, but I would not recommend for a family vacation. Devamı

The hotel was grand - the location inside the old Cleveland Arcade was filled with history. The location was great - restaurants, bars and cafe's were all in close walking distance. Also Progressive Stadium and the Q were easy walks to. Really a great place to spend time in downtown Cleveland.
