Nite Inn - Studio City

walls were thin. I could easily hear tv next door. Service was good. Don't stay on first floor. Ceiling is thin also. Convenient to Universal Studios.

The location was perfect but the place needs renovations in the worst way. I felt like i couldnt get clean n didnt want to go shoeless. Only reason i stayed was cuz i was on strict budget. Never again.

Recently I brought my family to Universal studios and decided to rent a room from Nits Inn. The rooms are smaller than they look on line. Parking was very limited and hardly enough space to get in and out of your vehicle. The bathroom was dirty, shower stall was small and had no place to put your body soap or shampoo. And for breakfast, they offered […] donuts and hot sunny delight and coffee. Who serves HOT sunny delight? I mean, at least sit it on some ice. The only good thing about this place is that it was 5mins away form Universal studios. I forgot to mention that they installed their TV into the wall using wood surrounding and we could not get the TV to turn on or off from the bed and that was about 5ft away. The only way to turn on the TV was to stand up and be 1ft away form the TV. We didn't have a microwave in our room the first day we arrived but they brought one in on the second day. Customer services was very poor. For example the lady who checked us in was very rude. She handed me paper work and told me just sign it. When we checked out, the gentlemen at the desk was talking either on the phone or on line with someone. No professionalism at all. A bit noise due to the main street traffic. Room a bit small. Towels very very thin. Not enough for the amount of persons due to arrive. No floor mat. Only 2 cups for a reservation for 3 adults and one child. Just to mention that only 2 towel that I would consider face towels and not body towels. Just a 2 star hotel.

We recently stayed here while visiting Hollywood. Location and freeway access was great. Besides that it was just enough to get by. We got a suite room, and the other room was more like a closet. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. How hard is that to take care of? We get in late the first night, to find there is no parking left. They really […] don't have enough parking for the rooms. All it takes is one car parked wrong and you could be left out in the cold. This hotel was located conveniently, but was horrible-- almost scary it was so uncomfortable. There were no windows in the tiny room, creaky, almost synthetic-feeling bed, dirty quilt on the bed, dirty walls, filthy carpet, smoky smells, etc. The small parking lot was full when I was there, so I didn't even have that convenience. We stayed there because its close to Universal Studio and not expensive, but you get what you pay for, so we weren't expecting it to be fancy. We had a room with 2 beds, so it made the room really small, not a lot of walking space, but we were barley in the room. Next door was a Subway, NY Pizza place that was very good and a Fat Burgers. I loved the location to Universal Studio's lot, but the bed was squeeky, and we had no window but for the one in the bathroom..?

first off the little tiny single bed room was not at all worth $70 WHAT SO EVER! the room was so small, that there was no room to move around and then the guy at the front desk was boring as hell, and charged us additional $7 to upgrade. the shower door was just hanging there ad was about to fall off, the continental breakfast, was just old donuts and […] also there was human hair on them and no juice at all. the fire alam was falling off the wall, the beds felt like they were could go though the floor, the walls had holes in them and plus the heater hardly worked. Hotel.com should remove such hotels from it's list.

This hotel is conviently located to several tourist spots. That's the good part. The down side is the comfort level (mediocre at best) and the noise from other occupants. If all you need is a place to park yourself than this will do.

if you want to visit universal studio, this is the best place, value wise

I would recommend the suites in this hotel as long as you stay upstairs, but not the other rooms. I have seen them and they are so tiny the television is to the side of the bed above the closet. Our second night we had people partying upstairs. I thought they were going to come through the floor. There was supposed to be a separate tub and shower so I was hoping for something of a spa type, but I was wrong. It was a tub/shower combination. Breakfast was included...doughnuts. That's it...just doughnuts. The plus is that they were from the doughnut shop next door and they have the softest freshest doughnuts I've ever had. There isn't a lot of parking available at the hotel. You can only have one car per room. There were 3 beds. 2 in the front room and 1 in an adjoining room. Nice for a family. No dark curtains in the back room. No remote for the crap television in the back room. Television in the front room was modern. Too modern for me as I couldn't find what channel was what. The pros about this hotel is that it is within walking distance of Universal Studios Hollywood. We had VIP parking there that we didn't even use. Manager on site was really rude charged extra for a guest. Parking was terrible had to park across the street in a public parking lot that was filled with alot of homeless people and women of the night. Only thing good about it was location really close to ourr distination

Make sure your girlfriend really loves you before you make her stay here! My girlfriend and I went to a concert at the Gibson, and this place was super close and cheap. We knew we were gonna have drinks, and it cost far less to stay here than to take a cab both ways from orange county. You get a sense that you are annoying the front desk person for checking in, asking for a cab, checking out, whatever it may be. If you don't want sleep with bad bugs,- stay away from this hotel!!!!

This hotel is a dive. Not enough parking. Black mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. We checked out at 2 in the morning and drove 300 miles home because we didn't feel safe in the hotel. Police helicopter circling the area. I would never stay here again.

Hotel needs upating, paint, carpet, fixtues. Towels were paper thin. Staff sayed locked in office, breakfast was botttled orange juice and coffiee with box of donnuts from shop next door. Location only advantage of this hotel.

For example, SUBWAY resaurant is located literally around to corner of the NITE INN. The NITE INN Motel is also located within close proximity of special services. For instance, a photo development shop is located around the corner so you can develope film so you can see your pictures of your vacation immediately. The one thing that stood out about the NITE INN Motel is its affordability. The NITE INN Motel is not as expensive as the other hotels in the greater Los Angeles area. If you are looking to save money on your trip, one of the best ways to do that is to find an inexpensive place to stay and the NITE INN Motel very affordable if you are looking to save or have a limited budget. But as you will later discover, when paying a low rate, you get what you paid for. The following are the negatives of the NITE INN Motel. The one aspect of the NITE INN Motel that I find the most negative was its cleanliness. The carpet in my room was very dirty. I would not suggest walking on the carpet with your bare or stalking feet for the bottom of your feet will get dirty. Overall the room was clean, linen clean and a shower in the morning was great. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner, but we managed and enjoyed the morning coffee, rolls and juice.

I read the reviews before I booked the hotel, and most of them were pretty accurate. The good thing about this motel is that it is very close to universal studios, which is why we stayed there.

Needed to stay one night for a conference at the Sheraton. Conference rates were completely booked at the Sheraton so I stayed at Nite Inn. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. The room was located behind a locked gate, up a steep set of stairs and on the roof top of the office. Looked like a quick, cheep, add-on. The bed seemed like it […] was just a box-spring. Nite's Inn in Studio City, CA was very dirty. Beds very uncomfortable.

good location, decent rooms but strong smell of closed room...seriously needs some ventilation or fresh air... service is average...ok for one day stay just to spend a night in travel.

The rooms are stink only one bathroom and sink with 3 queens bed. No hangers towels are small. the 2 beds are broken and the owner just put piece of wood to support the bed. it looks good in the pic. but in actual is different.

Please don't book this Hotel. It is the worst place I have every been in. Ran out of bathroom tissue, call front desk to request more and was told that I would have to go a get from the office. No remote control for the TV, when ask about desk clerk just said was stolen, did not offer to replace it. Beds were hard and made noise when you moved on it. […] Breakfast was stale like a rock. But the worst was in the bathroom above the shower there was mold, and I have pictures to prove it. I have contacted to County Health Dept. to check it out. I checked in, went to the room, then turned around and checked out. Room the size of large bathroom, whole room, including bathroom.

Lets start off with the good, Its very close to Universal Studios and its next to many good places to eat(Subway, In and Out, Panda Express)...Now to the bad the breakfast was just a box of donuts and sunny d, the beds were hard, the room was small and smelled weird, and the parking lot was small, not staying here again.

The room was tiny, the parking lot is awfull. The staff very nice and about a 10 minute walk to universal studos.

This was nothing as we expected it; left after our first night. The room was tiny and stuffy. No amenities. No view.

The check in staff was decent. The room was cold. Towels were not at all adequate. There was no ironing board and had to get iron from front desk. The late night staff was not at all helpful. He came to the front said he was sleeping and to come back later.

Worst Hotel experience of my whole life.

I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS MOTEL OR RECOMMENED IT TO ANYONE,,,IT WAS VERY SMALL AND WAY OVER PRICED ...THE BED WAS THE WORST THE SPRINGS U COULD FILL THROUGH THE MATTRESS.......YUK I MAD A VERY BAD CHOICE....

Beds are uncomfortable box springs that creak with every movement. The rooms on the top were cold. They have a window unit A/C that doubles as a heater apparently but it just felt like it was blowing more cold air into the room. No need to drive or take a shutte. Just walk from the hotel. Business and stores were also nearby.

very satisfactory place to stay, it is cheap with not much to offer. We had low epectations and were not really needing a lot of amenities, so we were not dissappointed with the room. After I had read all the reviews on this hotel I knew what to expect. I booked it only because of its location (which is the only hotel advantage). Great location. Only about a 5-10 minute walk to the Universal Studio free shuttle. The room was way over priced. A camp trailer would have given about as much room. Bed had exposed spring that the wife almost cut herself on. Told front desk but wasn’t fixed. Real safety hazard. Only one small end stand, Queen bed and the TV in the upper left had corner […] next to the ceiling above the headboard. Don’t plan on watching too much TV. One chair. Not even a soap dish in the 3X3’ shower. Everything did seem to work. Refrigerator did keep things cool. AC about 3 feet from the bed. Parking was very tight. Heavy perfume smell in the room. horrible customer service, rooms were really small and smelly, their complimentary breakfast is mini cupcakes and they are like weeks old. with the price you pay for this, you can find way better motels in L.A.
