Very good value for money. However getting on to the Internet was a problem but to be fair they were (so I was told) moving to their own in-house system. I had to complain twice to the receptionist before the guy at reception overheard and went out of his way to sort it out for me - he went the extra mile and I was very impressed. very comfy and the staff were excellent. We had a very enjoyable 3 day stay for a family wedding. Our family booked several rooms and were all very happy

Very good service nice hotel very clean. Just down side no hot looking receptionist which should be a plus but never the less still had a great service given.

Cudn't fault it at all. Excellent service and room. Ensuite shower, heaven! Location was peaceful with local amenities close by.

main hotel areas could do with carpets cleaning and a lick of paint. Handy that the neighbouring hostelry serves food until 10pm

Good place to stay to rest your head on a long trip a asda supermarket is 5 minutes in the car

Good rooms with efficient service

I was going to an exam in the nearby hospital so location was perfect for that, it was also really close to the motorway as I drove from Manchester. The bed was really comfortable which surprised me for a budget hotel. Liked the MP3 plug in in the room. Breakfast was good and the check out at 12 was great.

It was far too warm in the bedroom and no way to adjust the temperature. The room was clean but basic but was very close to where we were going. The breakfast was not expensive and wasn't great quality. The service at breakfast was poor, so when we ran out of milk, we had to wait 20 minutes until someone came out to refill it. It seemed short staffed could not find anyone on front desk in the morning overall quite pleasant. The price was right would not want to pay more.

Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Within easy reach of both the M55 and M6. Preston town centre not too far, easy Taxi ride.

Dog barking in the room next door. Staff most unhelpful I have ever encountered. Not worth saving the extra money. The comfortable beds are the only good thing about this shocking hotel.

A bit difficult to find entrance to hotel and exit to M55 the next day. Friendly staff nice room just what it says on the box.

You get what you pay for, next time I will pay more for somewhere else. As soon as we entered the room we could smell cigarette smoke, stronger in the en-suite. For hours we had a pipes clanking and banging noise from the walls of our room. You could hear every door opened and every footstep along the corridors. From the moment we arrived there were […] random people walking the length of the corridors, didnt seem to have a room there. Not the hotels fault, I know, but at 2am we were woken by a crazy woman banging on a room door, shouting for access, she went down to the reception banging every corridor door, got them to ring the room..which rang and rang...it went on for about an hour, I guess for the money paid thats what you can expect. Nothing fancy, but does the job for a stopover. Room was clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Staff helpful. Nice bar with good food next door. Only problem was finding the place. Sat nag doesn't work. Takes you to a different location. Instead, use the map provided on the website when close.

Everything about out stay was really very good but with one negative. I had booked two double rooms for my husband, myself and two friends and although the rooms were very nice the fact that there were two people in each room there was only one chair in each room. Could have been much better for us if two chairs per room were provided especially as […] the age ranged from mid fifty to 82. But on positive side my husband and I did mention it when we were leaving and the receptionist told us that if we came back again just ask for another chair. Devamı

We use budget hotels quite often and Ibis Preston North is convenient for our needs. We have stayed twice now. The only real disappointment is the bar area. It is rather soulless and the drinks selection is extremely limited. I expect most guests head next door to The Phantom Winger if they want to socialise or relax with a pint!

At least a mile from the closest bus to the city. The heater didn't work and it gets down to 2 degrees in the early mornings. Manager was really friendly but the staff was inexperienced. Its too far from the city to say I would stay there again.

Large roomy car park. Hotel is next to M6 but room was quiet, no noise from road.Check in was smooth. Room was nice and clean and larger than expected. Didn't eat at hotel so can't comment on food.

good price, noisy on the motorway side but I changed with no hasles. The room needs a waste basket for tea bags etc. Banging doors as with most hotels is a huge annoyance, i relaise they are fire doors and need to close but please adjust them to do so softly !!! Very well run, with friendly and responsive staff. Much better than average for the room rate. Only issue is £10 a day for broadband (sic)in order to protect their blue movie revenue stream! However restaurant next door has free wifi so not too much of a problem.
